SCHEDULE 'A' (B/R PORTION): Dismanteling of Asbestos cement (corrugated semicorrugated etc ) sheets in roof covering inlcluding dismantling ms flat iron wind ties over roof sheet ( if any ) complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing for pre-painted galvalume Aluminium zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50 mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa and 150 GSM as in roof covering/ cladding to wall fixed with self taping screws with bituminious washers complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling timber scantlings 40 sq. cm and over in section in any position ( unframed work ) complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Roof trusses (framed), trussed, purlins, crane gantries, rails and fastenings and heavy bracket framing (Beam, tee, angle, channel or flat sections) of Fe -410 W ( Gde -E 250 ) quality A including welding ,distance pieces, gusset plates ,cleats,base plates and neccesary fastenings complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing for Mild steel screw bolts (machine made) of diameter of neck ( 16 mm to 20 mm ) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut exc 22.5cm and n exc 30cm long complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing for Hand rails, half round or other steel section or core for wooden hand-rail straight portion, drilled and countersunk for balusters running bars, for doors, balusters, nosing to steps including embeding in concrete and screwing etc. wind ties for roof including securing bolts confirming to Fe -410 complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description and in any position including any type of sunken treatment , roof treatment, mud phuska, PCC padding,lime concrete etc. and Clean up to existing RCC roof by steel wire brushes and surface washed with clean water and complete all as specified and directed. Note: All Demolished material / debries will be taken by the contractor out side of the cantonment without any extra cost to the govt.contractor should quote his rate Keeping this Aspect in mind.

Material and labour for 15 mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 over concrete surfaces of roofs finished even and smooth with WPC @ 200 ml per bag by weight of cement ( WPC will be measuredpaid seperately) as in roof treatment work all as specified and directed .

Material & Labour for providing and laying 3mm thick APP (atactic polypropylene polymer) modified prefabricated five layer weight not less than 3.00 kg /Sqm water proofing membrane black finish reinforced with non woven polyster matt and consisting of a coat bituminous primer @ 1.20 litre /Sqm by the same membrane manufactures of density 0.87 to 0.89 kg/ltr at 25 degree centegrate temperature and viscosity 70–160 cps over the primer coat with overlap of 100mm at the side and 150mm at the end, the layer membrane shall be laid using butane gas torch and sealing all joints etc. after preparing the surface complete as per standred practice as per manufacture's instructions. The vital physical and chemical parameters of the membrane shell be under :– (i) Joint strength in longitudinal and transverse direction at 23 degree centegrate at 650/ 450 N /5 cms (ii) Tear strength in longitudinal and transverse direction at 300/250N/5 cms. Softing point of membrane not less then 150 degree centegrate when tested in accordance with ASTM (d–5147) (iii) The laying of membrane shell be got down through the authorised applicator of manufactures of membrane only , complete, all as specified and as directed. (iv) The work shall be carriout at a height upto 12 metre.
