Short term maintenance works within stretch from Ch 0.000 km to Ch 10.000 km of NH-218

Road Property Maintenance (Bill No. 1) Bituminous Macadam Providing and laying bituminous macadam with 100-120 TPH hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of specified grading premixed with approved bituminous binder @ 3.3% (min) for Grading -1 and 3.4% (min) for Grading -2 by weight of total mix , transported to site, laid over a previously prepared base with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled as per clauses 501.6 and 501.7 to achieve the desired compaction (Reference to MORT&H's specification clause 504).3(ii) for Grading II (19 mm nominal maximum aggregate size) Layer Thickness 50-75mm

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen emulsion (RS1) using emulsion pressure distributor on the prepared bituminous / granular / cement concrete pavement surface cleaned with mechanical broom and high pressure air jet( Reference to MORT&H's Specification clause 503) i) On Bituminous Surface @ 0.20 - 0.30 kg./Sqm. Consumption of materials to be followed as per Ch. A., Sl.No. 5.2.

Surfacing/Mixed Seal Surfacing (Reference to MORT&H's specification clause 508). Case I CHAPTER - 5 Mechanical means using HMP of appropriate capacity not less than 75 tonnes/hour. Item Providing, laying and rolling of close-graded premix surfacing material of 20 mm thickness composed of 11.2mm to 0.09mm (Type-A) or 13.2 mm to 0.09 mm (Type-B) aggregates using viscosity grade bitumen of suitable approved grade to the required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a Smooth wheeled roller 8-10 tonne capacity, and finishing to required level and grade. Type-A. (rainfall more than 150cm/year)

Maintenance of Earthen Shoulder (filling with fresh soil) Making up irregularities / loss of material on shoulder to the design level by adding fresh approved soil and compacting it with appropriate equipment as per the requirement of MORT&H's specification 3003. Material cost nil

Bill No. 2 : ROAD PROPERTY MAINTENANCE Road Marking with Hot Applied Thermoplastic Compound with Reflectorising Glass Beads on Bituminous Surface Providing and laying of hot applied thermoplastic compound 2.5mm thick including reflectorising glass beads @250gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35. The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes (Reference to MORT&H's specification 803).

Pavement Repairs (Bill No. 3) Repairing Pot-holes with Bituminous Macadam Providing treatment and repair to pot holes/ruts of any depth/patch repair of all types of bitumen pavement complete as per Technical Specification Clause 3004.2, and as per direction of Engineer by using paving grade bitumen/emulsion/cold ready mix material. The job includes removal of all failed material, trimming of completed excavation to provide firm vertical faces, cleaning of surface, painting of tack coat on the sides and base of excavation as per Clause no. 503, back filling the patch with bituminous material as per Clause no. 509. Compacting trimming and finishing the surface to form a smooth continuous surf.
