Demolition of mud phuska on roofs, any thickness, including mud plastering (whether full thickness removed or only a part thereof) and removal outside defence land, complete all as specified

Taking down existing bitumen felt roof treatment including cement mortar bedding and cleaning the surface and removal of rubbish outside defence land, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for roughening of surfaces of old concrete floor/slab by wire brushing, sweeping, cleaning and washing down to remove all loose dirt etc, and brushing neat cement slurry @ 3.00 kg/Square Metre on floor/roof surface, complete all as specified.

Material and labourfor plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in padding on roof, in required thickness to maintain desired slope, finished even and fair to receive tiles/ APP membrane, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:4), using water proofing compound as per manufacturer's instructions, on brick/concrete surfaces of walls, finished even and fair , complete all as specified and directed. Note :- 1. Supply only water proofing compound will be measured and paid for separately.

Material and labour for water proofing treatment of RCC roof consisting as under:- (a) Applying evenly a coat of bituminous primer conforming to IS-3384:1986 @ 0.30litre/Sqm including preparation of roof surfaces (b) A layer of 3mm thick APP polymeric membrane of weight not less than 3.60Kg/sqm, reinforced with polyester non-woven fabric (weight not less than 160gm/sqm), duly sealed at over laps (100mm side lap and 150 mm end lap ) & joints with flame (by torch application) all as per manufacturer’s instructions, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for water proofing treatment of RCC roof on vertical surfaces consisting as under:- (a) Applying evenly a coat of bituminous primer conforming to IS-3384:1986 @ 0.30litre/Sqm including preparation of roof surfaces (b) A layer of 3mm thick APP polymeric membrane of weight not less than 3.60Kg/sqm, reinforced with polyester non-woven fabric (weight not less than 160gm/sqm), duly sealed at over laps (100mm side lap and 150 mm end lap ) & joints with flame (by torch application) all as per manufacturer’s instructions, complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for 40 mm thick brick tiles laid on roof and including 15 mm thick screed bed in CM (1:6) and jointed grouted flush in cement mortar (1:3) mixed with 5% of crude oil by weight of cement over and complete all as specified and directed.

All as per serial item No 10 here-in-before (but except brick tiles), complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Old serviceable ties as obtained from Serial item No 02 here-in-before shall be reused. (ii) The cost of cleaning and washing of brick tiles for re-use, shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted by the tenderer.

Supply and fixing 110 mm dia bore PVC (SWR) pipes, single socketed, in any length, with rubber ring joints, fixed to wall, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing 110mm bore PVC (SWR) bends any radius with access door, fixed to pipes with adhesive, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling existing water PVC tanks/demolition of RCC tank of capacity exc 1000 Litre but n.exc 2000 litre and removal from site to store for reuse or credit, complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting existing water tanks of capacity exceeding 250 litres but not exceeding 500 litres, setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning, etc and hoisting, if required, reconnecting and refixing in position complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair Gun-metal globe or gate valves, with iron wheel head, screwed down, high pressure,heavy duty, ISI marked , screwed both ends for iron pipe or for unions of 20mm bore dia complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for Cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate in cills, seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, copings, bed plates, bond stones, etc including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating as directed including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling plain or corrugated steel sheeting, any thickness including Nainital or similar pattern roof coverings complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Fixing Pre-painted galvalume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick, of any colour (as approved by GE), having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws, complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) of any description including cast-in-situ terrazzo (below or above ground level), not exc. 15 cm thickness, complete all as specified.

Dismantling floor hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises including removal of debries out of defence land complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of lime concrete/ lean concrete/ brick bats from floor/sunken portion exc. 15 cm thickness (above ground level), including removal of rubbish outside MoD land, complete all as specified.

Water proofing treatment to sunken portion of WCs, bathroom etc. by applying coating of cement slurry mixed with Acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound of make as approved inTechnical instruction 5/ 2003 as detailed hereunder:- (a) Applying 15 mm thick plaster (1:4) in cement sand mortar with integral water proofing compound 2% by weight of cement on floor and wall, finishing the surfaces even and smooth wiithout using extra cement. The surface shall then be cured and allowed to dry. (b) First layer of slurry of cement @ 0.488 Kg/Sqm mixed with Acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound @ 0.253 Kg/Sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hrs. (c) Second layer of slurry of cement @ 0.242 Kg/Sqm mixed with Acrylic based polymer modified cementitious composite compound @ 0.126 Kg/Sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hours followed with water curing for 48 hours. Note:- Supply only integral water proofing compound will be measured and paid for separately.

Material and labour, Cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate in cills, seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, copings, bed plates, bond stones, etc including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating as directed including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only integral water proofing compound, complete all as specified.

Supply and Fixing Steel water tubes, 40 mm bore, medium grade, galvanized, as in spout for sunken floor, fixed in wall, inside end fixed with wire netting and external edge beveled edge at 45 degree, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in -Charge.

Material & labour for Lean concrete (1:5:10), type E-2, using 40 mm brick coarse aggregate, as in sunken portion/sub base, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & labour for 25 mm thick PCC (1:2:4), type B-0 (using 12.5mm graded crushed stone aggregate) as in flooring finished even & rough to receive the bedding mortar, complete all as specified.

Material & labour for machine cut Kota stone slab flooring 15-20 mm thick over and including 15mm thick screed bed in CM (1:6) laid and jointed with grey cement slurry mixed with pigment to match the shade of slab including rubbing polishing etc complete all as specified and directed

Material & labour for galzed ceramic coloured tiles in verticle surfaces 450x300x7mm thick over and including 10mm thick cement plaster in CM 1:4 set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tiles complete all as specified and directed .

Material & labour for Vitrified ceramic tiles of premium quality, light shade, 10 mm thick (square/ rectangular) polished area of each tile not exceeding 0.36 Sq.m (size 600 x 600 mm), laid in floors over and including 15 mm thick screed bed of cement mortar (1:6) including pointing in white cement with pigment to match the shade of tiles, complete all as specified.

Material & labour for vitrified coloured tiles of 600mmx 600mm x 10 mm thick as in skirting set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in colour cement over 10 mm thick rendering in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for Granite (of any type) tiles 18mm thick, machine cut, bedded and jointed with grey cement slurry @ 3.00 kg/Square Metre over and including 15 mm thick screed bed of cement mortar (1:4) and pointed with white cement with admixture of pigment to match the shade of granite stone including cutting and polishing complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for 18mm thick Granite (of any type) tiles, machine cut as in skirting/dado laid over 10mm thick cement plaster in CM (1:3) and jointed with grey cement slurry and pointed with white cement with admixture of pigment to match the shade of granite stone including cutting and polishing complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for rounding to edges of stone slabs one edge, such as in steps, cooking platform, and other similar situations complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for 300mmx300mmx15-20mm thick high density coloured parking endura tiles laid in floors with neat cement slurry @ 3.00 kg/Square Metre over and including 15 mm thick screed bed of cement mortar (1:4) including pointing in white cement with pigment to match the shade of tiles, complete all as specified complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of brick masonry work built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, staging etc. and removal of rubbish outside MOD land, complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for RCC (1:1.5:3) type A-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate, as in chajjas, fins, louvers, roof projections, beam and lintel after removing loose concrete and preparation of roof surfaces by application of de-rusting chemical such as Dr fixit rust remover or equivalent and welding additional main bars/ distribution bars if found necessary by inserting to adequate depth in beam by drilling, pinning reinforcement old bars/new with including necessary sacafolding and form work as required upto the height of 3.5 mtr, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- 1. Rates shall be deemed to include the cost for necessary scafolding etc. 2. Reinforcement will measured and paid separately. 3. Nitozinc primer (FOSROC or equivalent) @ 200ml per Sqm surface area of concrete will be paid in saparate item.

Note(s): (i) Two runs of 2.5 Sqmm main cable + one run of 2.5 Sqmm cable for earth continuity and PVC conduit shall be measured as one unit/one Running Metre.
