BUILDING WORKS

Demolition of existing roof treatment i.e APP membrane including screed bed, brick tiling, mud mortar/lime concrete and open up RCC roof slab and picking, sweeping cleaning with wire brush and washing down with water to remove dust, dirt to get surface free of laitance, scales, oil or any other loose material complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The work is required to be carried out at non-accessible roof for double storey.The contractor shall make arrangement of scoffolding, safety & security of workers and arrangement for approach to roof. The rates quoted shall deemed to be included for these items .

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 (using 12.5 mm graded stone aggreagte) mixed with liquid water proofing compound as per manufacturer's instructions over and including coat of cement slurry @ 1.2 Kg/Sqm mixed with SBR latex liquid polymer as per manufacturer direction as to be used for bonding of new concrete to old concrete surface and finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement as in roof padding and sunken floors, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Water proofing compound and (SBR) Latex liquid polymer will be measured and paid seperately.

M & L of water proofing treatment to non-accessible roof slab with APP based modified polymeric membrane as per manufacturer’s instructions with following course of description below :- (a) Applying a priming coat of bituminious primer @ 0.30 Kg /Sqm, till the surface is properly impregnated. (b) Providing APP based 5 layer polymeric membrane minimum weighing 3 .6Kg/ Sqm and minimum 3 mm thick reinforced with polyester non-woven fabric (weight not less than 150 gms/sqm) centre core, laid on primed surface by forced applications as per the manufacturer's instructions with side over lap of 75 mm and end overlap of 100 mm. All overlap joints shall be sealed thoroughly by thermo fusing both the membrane layer (torching overlap by propane or butane gas torch ) and sealing it with the help of hot trowel. The overlap joints shall be made as a monolithic layer (c) Apply two coat of bituminous aluminium paint @ 0.20 Kg/Sqm over APP membrance

Note for item No 2 to 4 1. The work of water proofing treatment shall be got executed through authorised applicator of the manufacturer only and 10 year company back warranty to be submitted by contractor 2. The work is required to be carried out at non-accessible roof slab for double storeyed. The contractor shall make arrangement of scaffolding, safety and security of workers and arrangement for approach to roof . The rates quoted shall deemed to be included for these items.)

Demolition of lime concrete in floors and paving exe 15 cm thick above ground floor (sunken floor) including picking, sweeping cleaning with wire brush and washing down with water to remove dust, dirt to get surface free of laitance , scales, oil or any othet loose material and removing the demolished material outside the MOD land.Complete all as specified and directed

M & L for PCC 1:1.5:3 type A-0 (Using 12.5mm stone aggregate) as in concrete angle-fillets with a radiaus of 75mm shall be provided at junctions between roofs, floor and vertical faces of walls (parapet, pillar for water tank staging and sunken floor) around obstacles such as pipes, chimney stacks, etc. and other similar situation to ease up about corners mixed with polymer modified repair mortar complete all as specified and directed. (SBR Latex liquid polymer as per manufactur direction ) Note :- (SBR) Latex liquid polymer will be measured and paid seperately..

M&L for Providing and application two coat of acrylic polymer modified cementitious flexible waterproof coating on horizontal and vertical surface for sunken floor as per manufacturer direction after base preparation of cleaning, brushing and removal of flaky materials. The coatings shall be applied at intervals and as per the manufacturer’s specifications and approved by Engineer in Charge . Note : Ponding test after water proofing coating willl be done for ponding for 48 Hrs .

M & L for 15 mm thick protection plaster CM 1:4 floor and wall with polymer modified repair mortar (SBR Latex liquid polymer as per manufactur's instructions), complete all as specified and directed Note :- (SBR) Latex liquid polymer will be measured and paid seperately.

M & L for providing 40 mm dia GI pipe (medium grade) spout projecting at least 300 mm beyond outer face of wall complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cement concrete 1:5:10 type E-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in filling of sunken portion complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 30 mm thick PCC Type B-0, 1:2:4, (using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate) as in floor mixed with polymer modified repair mortar (SBR Latex liquid polymer @ 1.5 Litre per 50 Kg bag of cement.Complete all as specified and directed Note :- (SBR) Latex liquid polymer will be measured and paid seperately

Note for item No 88 (i) (i) The newly plastered surface must be prepared by application of wall care putty in a manner so that there should not be any impression of dent and it should be made even all as per manufacture instruction before application of emulsion paint. The cost of all materials, T&P and labour required for preparation of surface are deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (ii) The work shall be got executed through authorised applicator of manufacture after concluding an MoU with Manufacture for company back guarantee by the contractor. The authorised applicator of manufacturer shall be got approved from GE / AGE (I) before commencement of work. (iii) All the material to be incorporated in the work shall be brought by contractor to MES store yard which will be subsequently issued by department for incorporation in the work to ensure the quantity to be consumed all as per recommendation of manufacture. (iv) After carrying out preparation of surface the same shall be got approved from GE / AGE (I) before application of distemper for each building. (v) The colour / shade will be all as approved by GE / AGE (I). (vi) Arrangement of adjustable Scaffolding wherever required are deemed to be included in the rate quoted by the contractor.

M&L for preparation of old decorated surface of exterior wall by complete removing existing treatment with mechanical sander (rpm 1500-2700) along with internal dust extraction system for clean environment certified by reputed paint manufacturers, washing the surfaces with bleaching powder solution for treatment of fungal growth and applying two coats of exterior anti-fungal acrylic emulsion paint by roller / spray machine of required shade (walmista of Berger or equivalent in Asian/Nerolac Paint having three years performance warranty) over one coat of exterior water based primer of same make, complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 89 (i) The old surface must be prepared in a manner by application of wall care putty so that there should not be any impression of dent and it should be made even all as per manufacture instruction before application of paint. M & L Rendering 15 mm thick on fair faces of brick work or concrete walls internal surfaces in CM 1:6 finished to even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered surface of internal wall by application of wall care putty of thickness 1mm to remove the dent and to make the surface even and smooth by grinding or rubbing with sand paper and applying two coats of acrylic distemper over a coat of primer using roller/spray machine complete all as prescribed by manufacturer of paint and as directed.

M & L for preparation of old decorated surface of internal wall by removing existing treatment with mechanical sander (rpm 1500-2700) along with internal dust extraction system for clean environment certified by reputed paint manufacturers and applying two coats of acrylic distemper using roller/spray machine including 1mm thick wall putty all as specified and prescribed by manufacturer of paint and all as directed.

Notes for item No 91 & 92 : (i) The old surface must be prepared in a manner so that there should not be any impression of dent and it should be made even and smooth all as per manufacture’s instruction before application of distemper. The cost of materials, labour & T&P required for preparation of surface are deemed to be included in the rates quoted. (ii). The work must be got executed through authorised applicator of manufacture after concluding an MoU with manufacture for company back guarantee by the contractor. The authorised applicator of manufacturer shall be got approved from GE/ AGE (I) before commencement of work. (iii). All the material to be incorporated in the work shall be brought by contractor to MES store yard which will be subsequently issued by department for incorporation in the work to ensure the quantity to be consumed all as per recommendation of manufacture. (iv). After carrying out preparation of surface the same shall be got approved from GE /AGE (I) before application of distemper for each building. (v). The colour / shade will be all as approved by GE / AGE (I)

Dismantling floor hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing and rubbish off the premises from MoD complete all as specified and directed.

Roughening surfaces of old concrete floor by tucking, picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust, etc. to receive the screed layer for laying floor tile complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for double charged vitrified tiles of any design and pattern, 600 x 600 x 8 to 9 mm thick, as in floor skirting etc Set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of the tiles. Tiles shall be confirming to IS-15622:2017, Group B1b complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Shade of the tiles including Colour, design and pattern shall be approved by GE
