a) This work includes repair of 250/300 mm dia sluice valves installed to regulate inlet/outlet of filter beds at old Patterson filter house. Dismantling of sluice valve by gland plate, gland top housing and upper & lower dome of sluice valve by removing/cutting of nut bolt with the help of gas cutter and men power. The job i/c dismantle / removing the each part like spindle, GM nutt, flap and GM ring of body for repairing and overhauling.

Repairing of S.S. Spindle by remetalling on the damaged portion, the job i/c machining, re-threading, finishing etc.

Repairing of G.M. ring of both side of body by remetalling, machining and finishing by machining work to make its original shape as required by job. Also includes the charges of Re-fixing the same of GM ring in body.

Repairing of G.M. ring of both side of flap by remetalling, machining and finishing by machining work to make it proper size. Also includes the charges of Re-fixing the same of GM ring in flap.

Repairing of CI flap by repairing of GM nut groove in the flap for accurate fixing of GM nut. Fabrication and fixing of MS flat by drilling and threading in CI flap and tightly fixing by using of nut bolts and washer with proper machining / alignment and operation with flap as per requirement by job.

Repairing of gland housing by making proper size of thrust bearing seat and maintain the size as per spindle. Replacement of gland bolts and repairing of gland plate.

Repairing of doom by cutting / removing of damaged portion with machining work job i/c fabrication, machining and fixing of MS bush for avoid the loosing of spindle making new bearing seat of proper size of thrust bearing and maintain the size as per spindle.

P/F of GM nut and thrust bearing as per sample.

Providing of Rubber packing/ nut bolts washer etc as per site requirement.

Reassembling of sluice valve with the above spares with required hardware goods etc. as per site requirement.

Repair of sluice valve with the help of tools & tackles gas cutter, welding machine and other items as per requirement of site the job i/c loading/unloading, of repairable parts to workshop to & fro.

Painting and primer charges of sluice valve with one coat of primer & minimum two coat of enamel paint of required shade & colour.

Testing and commissioning of sluice valve on full load after complete repairing and fixing.
