ATTENDING DAILY EMERGENCY COMPLAINTS PIPE LINE LEAKAGE AND ALLIED WORKS IN OLD DOCKYARD AREA AT NAVAL DOCKYARD VISAKHAPATNAM

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 M in wide and depth for carrying out repairs to jointing pipe and getting out in soft / loose soil including dewatering of sub soil water complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per item No 1.00 above but exceeding 1.5 M in wide/depth but not exceeding 3.0 mtr in soft / loose soil

All as per item No 1.00 above but in Soft/Disintegrated rock (For road / hard standing cutting)

Returning, filling in soil including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavted soil not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at level not exceeding 1.5 M above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down old unserviceable GI pipe of including short length (up to 6m) following sizes from galleries / walls and supply & fix GI pipe Medium grade ISI marked 25 mm bore galvanized with all fittings such as tees, bend, elbows, sockets reducer, nipples and union complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for supply / fixing / testing of ERW MS pipe line 150mm dia Medium grade 4.85mm thick including MS specials but excluding flanged joint with flanges measured under relevent item and taking out old unserviceable pipe line complete all as specified and as directed. Supply & fix in repairs 50 mm bore gate valve complete all as specified and as directed.

Attending water leakage of fresh water complaints up to 50mm GI pipe at any location inside jetty area and replacing the spares , wherever required and restore the water supply complete all as specified and as directed. Note :-Replacement of new GI fittings up to 50mm in place of unserivceable one included in the unit rate quoted.

Material & labour for painting to old steel surfaces of MS / GI pipe lines with one coats of synthetic enamel black paint including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for lead joint of CI pipe including taking out old lead and reuse with new lead and jointing complete of the pipe size 200 mm bore complete all as specified and directed.

Material & labour for replacement of flange joints gusket suitable for CI/MS/DI flanged water mains after dismantling at least 12mtr pipe at both side of joint and jointing with new rubber gasket nuts, bolts and washers including taking out old perished rubber gasket, nuts bolts and washers for 200 mm bore pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, fix, install test and commissioning CI sluice valve flanged type 150 mm dia PN 1.0 fitted with hand wheel including fixing to pipe line with gusket, nuts, bolts and washers complete including taking out old unserviceable sluice valve complete all as specified and as directed

Supply, fix, install test and commissioning CI non return valve 150 mm dia including fixing to pipe line with gusket, nuts, bolts and washers complete including taking out old unserviceable non return valve complete all as specified and as directed

Labour only for attending break down of pipe line bursting/cracks and including cleaning/removal of broken pipe pieces of variouslengths through gas cutting / manual cutting as per site requirement and including inserting necessary specials such as pipes MS/CI collar etc., as per site requirement, testing for leakages of lead joints, testing and necessary dewatering by using necessary pupms, mechanical excavator complete all as specified and as directed for the bore of CI/DI pipe 150mm. Note 1:- The quoted rate is deemed to be include the following:- (i) Arrangement of suitable pump sets for dewatering at the time of break down. (ii) Necessary labour/trade men for attending break down . (iii) Labour element required for fixing CI/DI/MS pipes, specials fittings Note 2:-CI/DI/MS fittings shall be measured and paid seperately under relevant items.

Supply & fix DI/CI/MS fittings for water pipe line such bends (any type, radius and angle) tapers any type, (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc.) Tee pieces single branch. "Y" junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot) collars, caps and plugs including taking out broken CI / MS specials upto 150mm bore complete all as specified and as directed.

Material & labour for PCC (1:2:4), type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in pillar to support the pipe lines including necessary form work and finishing the exposed surfaces of concrete fair and even complete all as specified and as directed.
