Construction of Flood Protection embankment on Baitarani left from Ambo to Samana from RD. 1710M to 8840M in Hatadihi Block of Keonjhar District.

Clearing grass and removal of rubbish up to a distance of 50m outside the periphery of the area etc.with all leads, lifts and delifts with cost of all labour complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Earth work in approved type of soil in borrow area by mechanical means and loading in to transportation vehicle and transportation of earth by mechanical means and unloading the earth over the approved surface of the embankment in proper profiles with all leads, lifts, delifts including rough dressing and breaking the clods in to 5 cm to 7 cm size including removal of all foreign materials, debrises, grass, bushes, vegetations, shrubs, roots from transported earth including laying in layers not exceeding 22.50 cm in depth including watering and compaction, construction and maintenance of approach road, diversion road including mobilisation and demobilisation of men and machineries etc.cost of hire & running charges of all machineries, cost of fuel, lubricants, cost of labour, carriage, royalty, cess etc. all complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (Borrow area are to be arranged by the agency at his own cost & responsibility & measurement will be made after finished level section)

Watering earthwork upto OMC condition and compacted by vibratory roller and dozer in layers not exceeding 22.5 cm to 95% dry density including hire and running charges of all machineries complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Fine dressing of earth work in slope of embankment including filling of earth of rain cuts and slopes with selected earth at contractors own cost and duly compacted and trimmed to the required profile and turfing with dub sods of rectangular shape of minimum 0.25 cm thick with cost, conveyance by mechanical means with all leads, lifts and delifts, cess including mobilisation, demobilisation, supervision charges with cost of all other materials, approach road, diversion road, site illumination including watering the sods till survival of grass with all cost incidental to the work etc. complete as per specifications and the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (Measurement will be taken after survival of grass).

Collecting & supplying good quality moorum from approved quarry and stacking at work site in regular box heap size (1.50mx1.50mx0.50m) to be measured as 1.0cum and spreading the same on the top of the metalled surface not exceeding 75mm thick including watering & consolidation with PRR with all leads, lifts and delifts including cost, conveyance, royalty, cess including hire charges of T&P materials required for the work, hire and running charges of machineries etc.complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
