SCL: Preventive monthly maintenance of RMPU fitted on SGAC coaches of roof mounted design (including all accessories, topping up of gas as applicable).

SCL: Preventive maintenance (IOH schedule) of RMPU fitted on SGAC coaches of roof mounted design (including all accessories, topping up of gas as applicable).

SANG: Preventive Trip maintenance of AC package units of various makes fitted on LHB type coaches of roof mounted package unit design (including all accessories, topping up of gas as applicable).

B-Escorting, operation, and troubleshooting of AC Coaches in various

SCL: Escorting ,operation and troubleshooting of AC coaches of SCL Depot with a provision of Skilled staff (ACCI) for up and down trip from source to destination and back to destination .The vital duties of deployed staff will be-(i)Observe the functioning of AC plants by noting the load currents if abnormal try to troubleshoot the problem. (ii)Ensure that the temperature inside the coach as per RDSO specification. (iii)Check and ensure working of Pump for every 6 hours. (iv)Ensure proper working of equipment in the train. (v)Keep the AC unit in auto mode. (vi)Fire Firefighting tools should be used when needed. (vii)Ensure to switch OFF the pantry equipments of coach during night-time. (viii)Attend complaint of passengers, if any given by passenger, control 10 office immediately. (ix)Troubleshoot line failure immediately. (x)Frequently check the AC control panel indicators. (xi)Communicate line failures and non-ac etc., to the base depot in-charge. (xii)Communicate line failures and non-ac etc., to the destination depot in-charge. (xiii)Co-ordinate with train superintendant (TS),TTE in case of emergency/failure. (xiv)Escorting staff must round within every hour from both the ends of train during run for proper working of all electrical equipment including pantry items, pumps and AC system, etc. (xv)Give temporary connection in TL coach and attend other complaints of TL coaches also, if required in en-route. (xvi)In case of emergency, disconnect electricity in the fire affected coach. (xvii)Help passengers in case of any problem. (xviii) Attachment/detachment of IV couplers of power cars/LVPH at the time of HOG loco attchment/detachment and attachment/detachment of IV couplers of any other coach which is required to be attached/detached enroute.
