Bore well conditions
1 Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka.
2 Contractor Should Quote the Rates Exclusive of GST.
3 It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of Kppp Portal on or before the last date and time of bid submission.
4 The employer reserves the right to accept any tender and to reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason.
5 The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non-accessibility of Kppp portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end. EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.
6 Bidder shall pay Contract Management Module processing fees of 0.025% of the contact value (Min Rs.500/- & Max Rs.7500/-) soon after contract has been issued to bidder.
7 Conditional tender will not be considered Sub-Leasing/G.P.A of Work is prohibited. Tender application amount will not be refundable.
8 The contractor has to compete the bid (quote the rates) for all schedule B items of the works mentioned.
9 The Contractor shall pay the Earnest Money Deposit EMD & Tender Transaction fee in the Kppp portal using any of the following payment modes Credit Card, Direct Debit, National Electronic Fund Transfer NEFT, and Over the Counter OTC.
10 The tenderer shall scan and upload all the original documents required for this bid to the Kppp portal. The uploaded documents should be clear (Visible), unclear documents will be rejected. The original documents shall be produced at the time of physical verification.
11 One percent of the bill amount of the successful tenderer will be deducted towards cess as a labor welfare fund.
12 All documents enclosed should be attested by Gazetted officer or Government Notary, otherwise the bids are liable for disqualification. Original documents should be produced for verification at any stage of the Tender process, as and when sought for. Failure to produce original documents will lead to disqualification. Work done certificates should have all the CR no, work order issuing date, work completion date and year. All documents to be furnished are to be countersigned by the employer in charge, not below the rank of an executive in-charge or equivalent
13 The contractor has to make his own arrangement for procurement of all materials required for the work. There is no departmental supply of materials. There is no departmental supply of materials. Contractor should procure only ISI mark materials and submit necessary quality control certificates from the authorized quality control authority, before execution. Transportation charges from the site of work to Q.C. Lab of all the samples collected for testing should borne by the contractor himself.
14 The intending bidder firm/ company are advised to visit the work site before submission of tenders.
15 Omission and typographical errors which are in the opinion of the executive Engineer will not be a ground for claims of extra payment.
16 Royalty charges will be deducted from the contractors running bill as per the prevailing royalty charges at the time of payment. IT, GST and others taxes will be deducted as per the prevailing Government Order. GST & EPF registration certificate from competent authority.
17 The tender is invited as per Standard tender Bid Document KW-1 and shall abide for the conditions contained in Standard tender Bid Document KW-1.
18 Price adjustment clause will not be applicable as per prevailing government order and only star rates are applicable.
19 Executive engineer reserves the right to accept or reject any tender and to cancel the tender process and reject all tenders at any time prior to award of contract, without there by incurring any liability to the affected tenderer or tenderers or any obligation to inform the affected tenderer or tenderers of the grounds for the employers action.
20 The contractor must upload existing commitment of the ongoing works in hand for the calculation of tender capacity. Tenderers shall provide the requested information accurately and in sufficient detail in section 3.
21 The contractor should obtain the Material Dispatch Permit for stone, aggregates, sand and Murom etc will be used in the construction work from the Mines and Geology department at the time of execution and same should be submitted along with the work bill, then for such work bills no Royalty will be deducted. If the contractor failed to submit the Material Dispatch Permit along with the work bill Five times Royalty will be deducted from the work bill as per KMMCR 2016 amendment rule 44(4) and the circular vide No.Ga.Bhu.E/DCB/DCB/Takte/2019-20/4497 Dated: 12/12/2019 by Mines and Geology department.
22 Restrictions on Public Procurement from Bidders of certain countries as per Government order No.FD 455 Exp-12 2020 Bangalore dated: 25-08-2020.
23 Item for which 0.00 rates entered will not be paid for by the employer when executed and shall be deemed covered by the other rates & prices in the bill of quantities.
24 The Defects Liability Period is 365 Days after the completion of work.
25 The Registered civil contractor applying for the work should upload the lease agreement certificate from Rig owners. The contractor should execute drilling of bore wells through bore well rig agency registered with Ground Water Authority of the State
26 As per Go. No: MID/563/MISU/2024 Bengaluru Dated:29.10.2024 Govt., has fixed Rs.75000/- for electrification to be done in the model of Ganga Kalyana scheme.
27 As per Go. No: MID/475/MISU/2024 Bengaluru Dated:24.09.2024 Guidelines to be adopted during the execution of work.
28 Tenderers who meet the specified minimum qualifying criteria, will only be qualified, if their available tender capacity is more than the total tender value. The available tender capacity will be calculated as under: Assessed available tender capacity (AxNx2.5- B) Where, A Maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any two years during the last five years i.e. 2020-21 to 2024-25 (updated to 2025-26 price level) taking into account the completed as well as works in progress. N, Number of years (03 months)prescribed for completion of the works for which tenders are invited. B, Value, at 2025-26 price level, of existing commitments and on-going works to be completed during the next 03 months (3/12-0.25) year i.e. period of completion of the works for which Tenders are invited.
29 After sinking, success full borewells should be safely capped and in case of failure, borewells should be safely capped and proper safety measures should be taken to avoid dangers as per the Government order MID/10/AJAA/2012 BANGALURU DATED 31-12-2012 declaration should be submitted in FORM IC in this regard
