PETTY REPAIRS OF E/M NATURE OF WORK SWITCH SOCKET SUBMAIN AND DISTRIBUTION BOXES INCLUDING ATTENDING COMPLAINT DAY BY DAY ON EMERGENCY BASIS AT MIL STN PITHORAGARH AND OTHER CONNECTED AREA UNDER GE PITHORAGARH

DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS

Attending complaints of electrical nature rectification of the fault as per the complaint lodged by the user onward and including LT Distribution Panel, faults such as decarbonising connections in the DB;s checking for disconnections, loose connection any burning/heating due to overloading in Didtribution boards and restoring electric supply, checking and repair of switch sockets MCB's any type, checking and reconnecting/providing earth connection to distribution boards, checking and rectifying fault including repair/replacement of tubelight fitting any type by replacement of worn out ballast, bipin holder, starter, wom out wire, repair of faulty fan by disconnecting and replacement of unserviceable parts such as capacitor, fan regulator, connecting wires, repair/replacement of lamp holder and wornout holder wire, repair / replacement of electric bell/buzzer/bell push and other internal accessories i.e switch, sockets 5/15 Amps, repair/replacement of short circuited point wiring/sub main wiring, repairs/replacement of recessed light fittings, checking and rectifying earth fault/leakage current in water tap, other home appliances, checking and rectifying faults in building security lights/fittings complete repairs to the extent by removing connections from the system, removing faults in wires, battens, conduit, sunken boxes, juction boxes, main switches, MCBs/DBs utility light fitting, lamp holders ceiling/exhaust fans and other connected fixtures of the internal electrification rectified the fault with regard to the complaint lodged and refixing of fittings, fixture to their position as dismantled and nothing extra shall be paid to him, on this account complete all as directed at site to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-charge/users

The Contractor shall provide necessary T&P such as ladder, earth tester, insulation tester, earth megger(500Volts), drill machine, wires of appropriate size and conductor matching to existing one upto the length of 1.5 mtr including insulation tape, screws, nuts as required to rectified the fault with regard to the complaint lodged and refixing of fittings, fixture to their position as dismantled and nothing extra shall be paid to him on this account.

Attending complaint including taking down/refixing of flouresent tube light fittings/fixture repair shall be mesured against srl item No 01.

Cost of material and labour for providing new items shall be mesured and paid separetly under relevent items of Sch A against supply only hereinafter.

Contractor representive/Engineer will report to JE E/M daily FN/AN to collect routine/urgernt work releated to internal electric supply till completion of contract. The Work shall be attended by the contractor immediately. The contractor will ensured availablity of manpower equiped with or sort of petty item such as insulation tape, GI Screws nut bolts washers etc reqd to accopmlish the job. The contractor will also ensure availablity of every type of requisite T & P items to his tradesman. all routine/urgent jobs recd on Slip or complaint register will be prepaired and get signature of users & Slip / Register will be produce to intemate JE E/M of completion of work within 24 hours . In Case of any delay attending the complaints more than 8 hrs after handing over the complaint and 2 hrs per urgent works, the contractor shall be able to pay the penalty as describe the penalty clause given here as under:-

the penalaty shall be applicable to the contractor if the delayed is noticed by Engineer in charge more than 12 Hrs after handing over the work of urgent nature to contractor shall attend the job immediately and shall report to JE E/M within executive it the nature of job is such that the work cannot be comletedd with in 12 hrs than the fact decided by the GE/Engineer in charge if delayed more than 12 hrs period and GE is not satisfied with the reason for the delay than penalty at rate of 50/job shall be deducted from dues of contractors.

Please note that this penalty is excusive other than condition 56 IAFW-2249 & Shall be treated as interim condition of the contractor & shall inforced as an delay in individual job is noticed and no claim whatever on his account shall be entertained by dept. the decision of accepting officer in this regard shall be final and binding.

Attending complaint by one visit to one qtr will be considered as one job.

Taking down carefully copper/aluminium point wiring (light, fan, socket or power) complete, including fixture and fittings such as switches, ceiling roses, pendants, regulators, sockets, light fitting, bell, bell push etc and removing material for taking credit (credit for material should be made as per condition sepretly) and making good disturbed surfaces of walls, floor to match with existing specification complete and all as specified.
