Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 Mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5 Mtr in deep in hard/dense soil/ road for getting out old GI tubing from the trenches etc. Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Removing excavated material of any type of soil/soft rock from site to a distance not exceeding 50mtr away and depositing where directed not exceeding 1.5mtr above the starting point Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Returning filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick in hard/dense soil Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge.

Repair to leakage broken pipe or in joints or in sluice valves (flanged/spigot socket joints) of exising pipe (supply and distribution mains) CI pipes of sizes 200/150/100 bore. by earth work ( excavation,returning filling,removal in any type of soil) , dewatering, and fixing neccesaary suitable sizes of new ( ISI marked) CI fittings i.e. (flanged/spigot tail Pieces, collers,Tee,bend, to repair the leakage. Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge. Note: (1) Cost of CI fitting shall be measured and paid separetely under relevant items of schedule 'A' (2) Excavation & Earth work shall be measured and paid separetely. (3) Cost of all T&P and pumping set for dewatering shall be included in quoted rates.(4) Cost of lead joint, spunyarn, gland packing etc. shall be measured and paid separetely under relevant items of schedule 'A'.

M&L for laying of GI tubing medium grade ISI marked complete with all necessary fittings of sizes 15 mm bore in trenches including taking down of old rusted GI pipes. Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-In-Charge. Make : Jindal /Prakash Surya /TATA.

M&L for preparation of PVC display board size ( 60cmx60cm), not less than 3mm thickness to write data for machinery history sheet by writing of MES No/SM No in letters/numbers, makers number, capacity of machine, date set of work, make, cost of machine etc. on pvc sheet with blue colour letters over white back gound by printing form complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Complete dismantling of unserviceable water level indicator from RCC/Steel OH tanks/Filter beds, etc and replacing the same indicator made out of angle iron frame 25x4mm MS sheet 1.6mm steel rope of suitable gauge/size 4mm MS indicator of suitable size copper float valve of 230mm dia MS pully for smooth operation of steel rope including painting the complete frame and marking the scale suitable for 10000 glns to 50000 Gln capacity. Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Opening of inlet & outlet manhole of pressure fileter plant capacity 10000 glns/hr installed at Baramulla incl supply and replacement of complete U/S filter media gravel/quartzs and of different sizes in layers as per manufactures specification/ make of plant incl replacement of rubber sheet of manholes complete incl cleaning of all pipes & internal surfaces of plant incl painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer of approved make/brand complete all as specified and directed.

Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing in replacement of float valve with brass spindle of size 25 mm dia Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for spray painting to exposed surfaces of cast iron pipe line with two coats of synthetic enamel paint , (as per the existing colour i.e., for inlet pipe - Blue colour, for outlet - Green colour, for over flow - Yellow colour, for drain out pipe - Black colour) over a coat of red oxide primer, including preparation of old painted surface, by scrapping or complete removal of old paint , filling cavaties with filler. Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for spray painting to exposed surfaces of centrifugal pump of capacity upto 100 HP with two coats of synthetic enamel paint , (as per the existing colour ) over a coat of red oxide primer, including preparation of old painted surface, by scrapping or complete removal of old paint , filling cavaties with filler and writing MES/ SM no painted surface. Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for disconnecting and dismantling unserviceble centrifugal pumping set 5HP of singlestage/multistage from site and transport to the workshop for repair/replacement of defetive parts like impeller, shaft, lock key, worn out bearing, rubber coupling, gasket 3 mm thick, glands packing, stuffing box, mechincal seal and rusted nut, bolts etc and reassembling properly, greasing all movable parts, fixing in position, testing and commissioning at site all as directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note : (i) A warranty of one year shall be given for satisfactory performance of pump set (ii) Alternative arrangement of pump set for water supply will be arranged by the contractor if the pump is not repaired within five days, a penalty of Rs 1000 per day will be deducted and no extra cost willl be paid to the contractor un less natural calamidity is occured. (iii) All the T&P items i.e. chain pully block & tripart shall be arranged by the contractor without claiming any extra cost.

Disconnecting the defective/burnt electric induction motor & dismantling from the foundation, shifting to workshop for rewinding the electric induction motors suitable to run on 415V, AC, 50Hz supply, with copper enamelled, copper wire of suitable gauge/size including proper insulation, warnishing, drying, greasing bearing, etc and making connection to the terminal plate complete for 5 HP capacity of electric motor. Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : (i) A warranty of one year shall be given for satisfactory performance of motor (ii) If the motor is not repaired within five days, a penalty of Rs 1000 per day will be deducted and no extra cost willl be paid to the contractor unless natural calamidity is occured. (iii) All the T&P items i.e. chain pully block & tripart shall be arranged by the contractor without claiming any extra cost. (iv) Minor parts required is deemed to be inclusive of quoted rate.

Cleaning and removing all scales and dirt, sludges, fungus etc., from RCC over head tank of capacity 50000 Gln with bleaching powder etc., by mechanized dewatering and scrubbing the surface of floor/ wall and cleaning sludge with High pressure cleaning (i.e., using High Pressure Jet Pump of 2 HP putting minimum pressure of 150 Bar to remove all sludges), Vaccum cleaning, Anti bacterial spray and ultra violet radiation treatment etc., complete in all respect as per reputed specialised water tank 'TANK CLEAN' process. and removing vegetation around the tanks including writing tank clean on (date), (month) and (year), font size should be 60 cms writing with paint , date of cleaning on the tanks, Complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Cleaning of PCC/RCC semi under ground reservoir tank of capacity 30,000 Gallons, to be cleaned after removing/draining out, silt/residual silt and scrapping the internal surfaces of the tank with wire brush, removal of all the fungus, deposits and depositing where directed not exceeding 100mtr and washing the complete tank with bleaching powder solution complete all as specified and applying two coats of cement base paint on external surface of tank.
