SPECIAL REPAIR TO BLDG NO P-60 AND P-61 AT NARENDRA NAGAR UNDER GE 871 EWS

Dismantling/ removal of old/ damaged existing roof treatment with concrete and cleaning all waste and dirt by wire mesh, picking, sweeping and washing down with water to remove dust, etc, and removal of all material out side the cant area, complete all as specified and as directed.

Rendering 10mm thick on fair faces of concrete surfaces, in cement mortar 1:4 on roof top, including duly mixed with water proofing chemical i.e. PIDI Proof-LW/ STP No 01/ FOSROC India/ Berger, in proportion of 200ml per 50 Kg of cement, rendering is to be finished even and smooth (without using extra lime or cement), complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Cost of water proofing chemical shall be paid separately under respective item of BOQ.

Water proof treatment on roof top with APP (Ataxic Poly Propylene) modified polymeric five layered membrane with central core of 100 micron high molecular high density polyethylene film, minimum weight not less than 3.0 Kg/ Sqm, not less than 3.0mm thick, centre core is sandwiched on both sides by high quality polymeric mix with properties of high softening point, high heat resistance and cold resistivity to make it ideal for all water proofing treatment, with polymeric mix protection on both sides with 20 micron HMHDPE film, laid over one coat of bituminous primer conforming to IS: 3384, applied @0.40 Kg/ Sqm and one coat of hot blown bitumen of 85/25 grade, conforming to IS:702, applied @1.20Kg/ Sqm on prepared surfaces of roof, overlap should be not less than 150mm at ends and 75mm at sides, joints and overlaps uniformly bounded with LPG torch flame including applying of one coat of semi hot blown bitumen of 85/25 grade, @1.20 Kg Sqm and fine screened sand in dry condition @0.50 Kg/ Sqm after laying the membrane, complete all as specified and as directed. Note: Water proofing treatment shall be done on prepared plaster surfaces of roof top.

Plain cement concrete M-15(1:2:4), type B-0 (using 12.50mm graded crushed stone aggregate), nominal mix, including duly mixed with water proofing chemical i.e. PIDI Proof-LW/ STP No 01/ FOSROC India/ Berger, in proportion of 200ml per 50 Kg of cement, 25mm thick, as in roof surfaces to maintain proper slope, finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down of chowkhats or frame with shutters (without taking off shutters from the frames) area not exceeding 1.50 Sqm each, complete all as specified and as directed.

Factory made solid panel PVC door shutter 30mm thick (style) consisting of frame made out of mild steel tubes for top and bottom rails. Mild steel frame shall be covered with heat moulded plain colour PVC ‘C’ channel having a PVC sheet strip of 20mm width stuck inside with solvent cement for stiles and plain colour PVC sheets for top rail, lock rail and bottom rail on either side and as gap insert for top rail and bottom rail; Panelling of plain colour PVC sheet to be fitted in the mild steel frame welded/ sealed to the stiles and rails with suitable PVC sheet beading, and joined together with solvent cement, supplying and fixing in the frame at site as per specification and drawing in SSR, complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down of chowkhats or frame with shutters (without taking off shutters from the frames) area exceeding 1.50 Sqm but not exceeding 4.0 Sqm each, complete all as specified and as directed.

Solid PVC Door Frame of size 50mmx47mm made out of 5mm plain colour PVC sheet reinforced with mild steel square tube, supplying and fixing in opening as per specification and drawing, including making good to disturbed surface of walls, complete all as specified and as directed.

Factory made single extruded WPC (Wood Polymer Composite) solid door/ window/ Ceosetory windows and other Frames/ Chowkhat of size 65mmx125mm comprising of virgin PVC polymer of K value 58-60 (Suspension Grade), calcium carbonate and natural fibres (wood powder/ rice husk/ wheat husk) and nontoxic additives (maximum toxicity index of 12 for 100 gms) fabricated with meter joints after applying PVC solvent cement and screwed with full body threaded star headed SS screws having minimum frame density of 750 Kg/ Cum, screw withdrawal strength of 2200 N (Face) and 1100 N (Edge), minimum compressive strength of 58 N/mm2, modules of elasticity 900 N/mm2 and resistance to spread of flame of Class A category with property of being termite/ borer proof, water/ moisture proof and fire retardant and fixed in position with mild steel hold fast/ lugs/ SS dash fasteners of required dia and length, complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (i) Mild Steel hold fast/ lugs or SS dash fasteners shall be paid for separately. (ii) WPC solid door/ window frames, minus 5mm tolerance in dimension i.e. depth and width of profile shall be acceptable. Variation in profile dimensions on plus side shall be acceptable but no extra payment on this account shall be made.
