Box cutting in road embankment in all kinds of soil and spreading the soil uniformely over the flanks and consolidating and dressing the subgrade to correct camber and grade.

Brick edging 75 mm wide with picked jhama bricks, laid true to line and level including cutting necessary trench in soil or in hard metalled surface, laying the bricks and repacking the trench (on both side of the edging) with spoils and ramming the same thoroughly complete as per direction. (a)Brick on end edging (250 mm. depth)

Brick soling with picked jhama bricks including preparation of bed as necessary with brick joints properly filled in and packed with powdered earth and including necessary cushion of similar material below the soling (and in between layers when more than one layer is used) completes as per direction. (f) soling on dry pavement with one brick on edge laid in herring bone pattern over a layer of brick flat(thickness 125 mm plus 75 mm)

Hire and labour charges for Shuttering with or without staging upto 4.0 m height using approved stout props with wooden planks / ply wood / steel sheet plate with required bracing for any kind of plain or reinforced concrete works in all sorts of minor structure including culvert, box culvert, crossdrain etc. The rate is inclusive of fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of work as per specification and direction b) where staging is not requied

Fine dressing and making the crest to correct camber and grade by cutting and filling earth where necessary including extra earth

Providing and laying nominal mix Cement concrete (with mix proportion 1:1½:3) /M-20 grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS: 383, the size of coarse aggregate not exceeding 25 mm of Pakur or other approved variety including Screening and cleaning of aggregates, if necessary, both of approved quality and cement, as necessary, compacting by vibrator or other suitable means, cost of curing with water, cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. and including placing a Separation membrane of impermeable PVC sheet 125 micron thick transparent or white in colour laid flat with minimum creases. Before placing the separation membrane, the sub-base shall be swept clean of all the extraneous materials. Wherever overlap of plastic sheets is necessary, the same shall be at least 300 mm and any damaged sheathing shall be replaced at the Contractor's cost. Including carriage of all materials to site but excluding the cost of staging, shuttering and reinforcement if any.

Providing and filling joint sealing compound as per drawings and technical specifications with coarse sand and 6% bitumen by weight.

Supplying, dressing and stacking at site bamboo pins of 5.0 cm diametre and upto 7.5 cm diametre (dia to be measured at mid length).

Driving bamboo pins in standing or flowing water including scffolding and driving appliances. a) Where boats are not necessary

Supplying,fitting and fixing with iron nails half split bamboo walling pieces (av. Dia of bamboo not less than 5.0 cm)
