REPAIR TO WATER PROOFING TREATMENT AND CERTAIN REPAIRS TO MP ROOF TILES AND MISC B/R WORKS AT VARIOUS LOC UNDER GE (ARMY) TRIVANDRUM

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforcement) as in roofs,floor (other than ground floors), or similar work complete all as per specified and directed. Notes: All works under this BOQ will be executed for buildings of height up to four storeys. Contractor shall make all necessary proper scaffolding arrangements and safety measures for labours at site.

M&L for 25 mm thick, PCC 1:2:4, Type B-0, using 12.5mm graded stone aggregate over RCC roof as levelling course complete all as specified and directed.

Roughening surfaces of old concrete roof slab/floor by picking, sweeping clean and washing down with water to remove dust, etc. complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for rendering 10 mm thick cement plaster on fair faces of brick work/ concrete surfaces in cement mortar 1:3, mixed with water proofing compound @ 3% by the weight of cement, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed. Note: Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply only integral water proofing compound complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for APP modified water proofing membrane thickness not less than 4mm and weighing not less than 4.50 Kg/ Sqm reinforced with non-woven polyester, matt black finished (weight not less than 150 gms / sqm), laying by torch application including minimum 100mm overlap over compatible primer @ 0.40Litre/sqm and finishing with solar reflective Bituminous aluminium paint 100 gms /sqm complete all as per manufacturer's instructions and specified & directed.

Dismantling old false ceiling work including wall and ceiling boards (fibre, pulp, insulation, etc.) or insulation boards/ slabs/ blankets, any thickness, including cover fillets complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 4 mm thickness non-asbestos fibre cement building boards (decorative type) fixed or laid/ inserted to timber/ GI/ Aluminium framework with screws complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F anodised aluminium snap grid frame work (size of grid 605x605 mm) with 35x25x1.5 mm main tee and 25x25x1.4 mm cross tee and wall angle for false ceiling work complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F hangers 6 mm dia. G.I. wire (upto 1200mm length) adjusting level fixed to roof slabs by means of ceiling cleats made out of G.I. flat 40 x 3 mm size 60mm long and expansion hold fasteners 12.5mm dia., 40mm long as suspending arrangements for false ceiling work complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling single layer Mangalore pattern or similar tiles in roofing including ridge tiles complete all as specified and directed.

S&F roof tiles, Mangalore patteren, interlocking at side joints, laid dry (upto four storey building) complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Sl No. 12 here-in-before, but except tiles complete all as specified and directed. Note: Serviceable Mangalore patteren tiles obtained from item No. 11 will be used under this item.

M&L for ridge or hip tiles to suit Mangalore pattern of roofing tiles, bedded and jointed in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Sl No. 14 here-in-before, but except tiles complete all as specified and directed. Note: Serviceable ridge and hip tiles obtained from item No. 11 will be used under this item.

M&L for providing, cement concrete type B-0, 1:2:4 using 12.5 mm graded stone aggregate in roof kerbs or mud stops, rounded or chamfered on edges complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling wooden fillets for roof tiles battens, rails, posts, rafters, purlins etc. under 40 sq.cm in section (unframed work) complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for second class hardwood plain fillets (sectional area exceeding 13 sq.cm and not exceeding 25 sq.cm), square, rectangular or triangular in section, clean sawn, secured with nails or brads complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Sl No. 18 here-in-before, but except fillets complete all as specified and directed. Note: Serviceable wooden fillets obtained from item No. 17 will be used under this item.

Dismantling timber scantlings 40 sq. cm and over in section, unframed work, in any position complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for second class hardwood in scantlings, clean sawn complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Sl No. 21 here-in-before, but except scantlings complete all as specified and directed. Note: Serviceable wooden scantlings obtained from item No. 20 will be used under this item.

S&F 110mm bore PVC (SWR) pipes single socketed, including bend/ joint etc. all fittings, in any length with rubber ring joints laid in trenches or in floors or fixed to walls including taking down old damaged cast iron pipes/ PVC pipes (including all fittings), burning out joints etc to facilitate dismantling old serviceable fittings/ pipes laid in trenches, floors or fixed to walls, including necessary earth work, demolition of PCC/ brick work and making good to match with existing surfaces, including necessary scaffolding complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Sl No. 23 here-in-before, but 160mm bore pipe complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs 110 mm bore PVC (SWR) bends in any radius complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs 160 mm bore PVC (SWR) bends in any radius complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair 15mm bore UPVC tubing pressure rating 10kgf/CM2 fixed complete to walls, ceiling or in floors etc any type of pipe inlcuding taking down existing etc (Upto four storey building) complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Sl No. 27 here-in-before, but 20 mm bore UPVC tubing complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs Gun-metal, globe or gate valves, with iron wheel head, screwed both ends, conform to IS 778 for 20 mm bore dia iron pipe complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Sl No. 30 here-in-before, but 25mm bore dia complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting/ cleaning small trees, saplings, shrubs and under growth complete roots from brick walls, chajjas etc including taking out complete roots from inside walls/ chajjas and making good surfaces in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 or in cement mortar (1:4) to match the existing surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for clearing vegetation/ shrubs along with all the debris of leaf from roofs, sunshades, etc and making surface clean, making good with plaster in CM 1:3 or PCC 1:2:4 (12.5 mm graded aggregate) as per the site requirement/ condition complete all as specified and directed.

Disconnecting existing PVC water tanks of capacity exc 250 Ltrs and n exc 500 ltrs setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning, etc. and hoisting if required reconnecting and re-fixing in position after Cleaning and removing all scale and dirt, etc, from tanks and from mouths of circulating pipes, etc. all as specified and directed.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling including cement mortar bedding (but not backing) and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for screed bed or bedding layer of mortar 15 mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 for laying floor finishes complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for rendering 10 mm thick as screed in cement mortar 1:3 for skirting / dado complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for vitrified ceramic dark shade tiles 10 mm thick (square/ rectangular) polished, area of each tile exceeding 0.36 Sqm but not exceeding 0.42 Sqm, in floors etc, set and jointed neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match, complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per Sl No. 38 here-in-before, but as in skirtings complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Non skid ceramic coloured tiles 7 to 8 mm thick (square/Rectangular ) area of each tiles exceeding 0.11 Sqm but not exceedng 0.18 sqm, as in floors etc, set and jointed neat cement slurry and pointed with colour cement to match, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for glazed ceramic coloured tiles of size 450x300x7mm thick as in skirting/dados set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed with coloured cement to match, non skid joint free tiles, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for arresting leakage in the RCC/ sheet/ tiled roof with approved sealant or cement and making the surface good and clean including making necessary scaffolding arrangement up to height four storey as per the site requirement/ condition complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cutting out existing cracks in concrete surfaces/ masonry walls/ RCC slabs, forming a 'V' groove of 25x40 mm size, cleaning the groove thoroughly with air blower, priming the groove with polymer/ bituminous primer using spray gun/ brush, filling the groove with putty type crack filler mixed in proportion including sealing coat as per manufacturer's instructions etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Anti-TermiteTreatment of soil under existing floors using emulsion @ one litre per hole, 300mm apart including drilling and plugging 12mm dia holes with cement mortar 1:2 (1 cement: 2 coarse sand) to match the existing floors complete all as specified and directed.
