CHILLER PLANT: Testing and commissioning of water cooled DX/Flooded type Chiller Packages with Single/double circuit 3 x 100 TR( Dedicated type Parallel Chillers with 2 No working at a time and 1 No standby). Each unit shall consist of Screw Chiller with hermetic / Semihermetic compressor (twin screw compressors) suitable for R134a Refrigerant, with Slider valve mechanism for stepless un loading,Shell and tube water cooled Condenser, Insulated Shell and tube Evaporator, Micro Processor Plant Manager all as supplied by OEM as part of Chiller Package. (The item has been supplied and installed under original work of Make VOLTAS Model No.ACEEWFXR1001MLB2) Note:- The quoated rates include making the item in Serviceable/Functional condition.
Scope of Supply : The Unit mounted starter panel with double door construction shall be single Power point type complete with IP 55 Degree of protection, consisting of Power disconnecting Switches with fuses/MCCBs, Fully automatic Star Delta starters for Motors and condenser Fan Motors complete with Under/Over voltage and phase reversal protection, Single Phase Preventers, communication card which can accept 4-20 mA or 2-10 V dc analog signal.( 2 No Chiller unit working at a time and 1 No standby)
Each unit shall be complete with Discharge Service valves to isolate refrigeration circuits, vibration Isolators to isolate chiller from building structure, pressure gauges Electronic expansion valves, solenoid valves, anti-freeze thermostats, refrigerant piping with Insulation for suction line, accessories of Safety valve, angle valve, liquid line indicator, water flow switch, Relief valve, Isolating valves and including MS stand to install the chiller units fabricated out of suitable size of structural steel sections etc. all as per OEM. All accessories housed in a single chasis design. The noise level measured at a distance of 1 Mtr from the machine at anywhere in the plant room shall not exeed 75 dBA.
Technical Parameters : The chilled water type AC plant will be suitable for operation on 3 phase AC 50Hz supply of capacity. The Compressor shall have step less control from 100 to 25% of rated capacity. The unit shall conform to ECBC norms as under:- (a) Minimum COP=4.7 (b) Minimum IPLV=5.49 where COP=3.516/(KW/TR); The IPLV shall be calculated as per AHRI 550/590-latest edition. The unit shall be factory tested as per AHRI standard 550/590 latest edition. Mode Auto/Manual . Protection: Single phasing , phase reversal, under/over voltage, compressor restart after 10 second, Antifreeze, display on micro controlling unit, entering/ leaving water temp, alarm/ alarm reset, compressor ON, Crank case heater ON/OFF.
Design parameters/Specifications: The specifications for Condenser and Chiller are as under:- Condenser: water in 29.44 Deg C water out 35 Deg C Fouling factor 0.000044(m²-deg C)/Watt). Chiller: CHW in 12.22 Deg C CHW out 6.7 Deg C Fouling factor 0.000018(m²-deg C)/Watt)
Testing, commissioining & Providing insulation for Centrifugal end suction back pull out, vertically split casing pumping set for condenser water circulation system.The pump shall be suitable for the given duty points - 3 Nos. Out of Three pumps, Two will be working and one will be stand by. The Pumps are dedicated type, one pump for each Chiller Unit). Motor is energy efficient motor conforming to IS 12615. (i) Water Quantity- 800 US GPM(181.44 M³/Hr) (Each pump to handle 400 US GPM), (ii) Static Head - 20 to 25 M, (iii) Speed - 1450 RPM (iv) Impeller - Bronze, (v) Shaft - High Tensile steel , (vi) Pump/motor body- CI (vii) Seal - Mechanical, (viii) Motor - Suitable HP, Sqirrel, Cage SPDP,Class 'B' Insulation, (ix) Starter - Fully automatic Star-Delta, (x) Base frame - Fabricated MS (xi) Foundation - RCC/PCC Foundation as per OEM Recommendations. Note:The pumps should be provided with Anti Vibration Pads and RCC/Cement concrete Foundation. Rubber bellows shall be provided on suction and discharge sides for vibration isolation. 2 Nos 100 mm dia dial type pressure gauges for inlet/outlet shall also be provided. The cost quoted by the contractor includes all above. Testing, commissioining & Providing insulation for 3 Nos Pumps for Chillers, dedicated pump sets for each Chiller duly insulated with expanded polystyrene(TF Quality) insulation 50 mm thick duly cladded between aluminium sheets of 0.5 mm thickness and properly clamped to pump in 2 semi circular sections. Pump motor is energy efficient motor confirming to IS 12615. (i) Water Quantity-480 US GPM (108.86 M³/Hr) (Each pump to handle 240 US GPM of chilled water) (ii) Static Head - 30 to 35 M Other Parameters same as per Condenser Pump Note for Items 1.06 & 1.07 :(i) The Contractor shall provide calculations for Head of the Pump after acceptance of Tender (ii) In case of deviation of Head (more than 5m) financial adjustment will be made through a deviation order (The item has been supplied and installed under original work of Make: KIRLOSKAR, Model No: K2219A1056/10, Pump Type: DB 50/16) Note:- The quoated rates include making the item in Serviceable/Functional condition.
Testing and commissioining of Modular FRP cooling tower of 3 Cells, Each Cell of suitable heat rejection capacity (compatible with A/C load of 108 TR) with FRP water basin PVC fills, water distribution arrangement with self rotating sprinklers or fixed nozzles of PVC construction, statically and dynamically balanced axial flow fan direct driven, TEFC motor, suction screen, make-up and quick fill arrangement, overflow and drain connections, suitable GI inspection ladder, steel supporting structure, antivibration mounting etc, complete as per manufacturer's design/specifications - (Out of Three cells, Two will be working at a time and one will be stand by. The Cells are dedicated type, one Tower Cell for each Chiller Unit) Operating Parameter (i) Capacity - 3 x100 TR(100 TR per Cell) (ii) Water Flow- 400 US GPM(90.72 M³/Hr) per Cell (iii) Water in - 35° C (iv) Water out - 29.44° C (v) Design wet bulb temp - 28.33° C (vi) Min approach for Cooling Tower - 2.5°C Cooling tower shall confirm to NFPA 214 and it should meet criteria laid down by ASHRAE Standard 90.1-2004 .Note: The Capacity 100 TR per Cell shown is nominal capacity of Refrigeration.The Cooling Tower shall be suitable for Refrigeration capacity plus heat of compression which is 25 % (appx) of refrigeration capacity. The highest WBT is for monsoon(28.33°C) and Condenser piping is designed for 15.133 LPM/TR. The Cooling tower shall meet the load in both summer and monsoon. The Cooling Tower shall be complete with (a) Automatic Isolating Valves (Motorised Butter Fly Valves (150 MM) with flexible flanges at inlet and outlet of each Cell. (b) Over flow and equivalising line (c) Butter Fly Valve for make up water Connection including teflon tape to the threads (d) Standard Sump screen and additional fine mesh construction start up screen (e) Foundation with Staging to ensure positive head at Pump inlet The rate quoted for above Cooling Tower package includes for all the above (The item has been supplied and installed under original work of Make: DELTA, Model No: DFC-60) Note:- The quoated rates include making the item in Serviceable/Functional condition.
S&F Automatic Isolating Valves (Motorised Butter Fly Valves (150 MM) with flexible flanges at inlet and outlet of each Cell against Note (a) of Srl item No.1.08 above for checking of Over flow and equivalising line & for make up water Connection complete all as specified and directed.
CHILLED WATER PIPING, VALVES & FITTINGS: (UNDERGROUND PIPE) Supply, laying, fixing, testing and commissioning of chilled water piping Plumbing inside trenches with all necessary fabricated fittings such as bends, tees, reducers etc, and supports such as clamps, anti vibration hangars/pads etc( but excluding valves,valves/strainers/pr gauges etc) duly insulated with pipe sections of Fire retardent quality expanded polystyrene moulded pipe section of density 36 Kg per cum conforming to IS 12436 and thickness 50 mm upto 125 mm pipe and 75 mm thick for pipes 150 mm and above. The insulation applied after a thick coat of cold setting adhesive(CRPX compound) will be wrapped with 500 gm/sqm polythene faced hessian cloth sheet (vapour barrier seal) (Fire retardent grade) and secured with 0.5 mm x 20 mm GI wire mesh and 2 coats of cement plaster (1:4) 20 mm thick in 2 layers(each layer of 10 mm) and water proofed by applying hot bitumen and fixing tar felt over the plaster. It shall then be finally finished with a coat of hot bitumen. The work includes digging and refilling of trenches and providing 500 mm thick 1:2:4 cement mortar pads at 3 M interval.The pipes are required for installing outside the Building burried in ground. The size of pipes shall be as shown below:-

CHILLED WATER PIPING EXPOSED OUT SIDE BUILDING Supply, laying, fixing, testing and commissioning of chilled water piping outside the building all along the wall/roof (with necessary fittings, clamps and vibration isolators but excluding valves/strainers/pr gauges) adequately supported on rigid supports and duly insulated with pipe sections of Fire retardent quality expanded polystyrene moulded pipe section of density 36 Kg per cum and thickness 50mm, applied after a thick coat of cold setting adhesive(CRPX compound) wrapping with a layer of 120 gm/sqm polythene faced hessian cloth sheet (vapour barrier seal) (Fire retardent grade) and secured with 0.63 mm GI sheet cladding complete with type 3 , grade 1 roofing felt strip (as per IS:1322) at the joints and repairing of damage to the buildings if any etc as per specifications and as required complete in all respects. The size of pipes shall be as shown below:-

CHILLED WATER PIPING EXPOSED BUT INSIDE BUILDING Supply, laying, fixing, testing and commissioning chilled water piping inside the building (with necessary clamps, vibration isolators and fittings, but excluding valves/strainers/pr gauges etc) adequately supported on rigid supports and duly insulated with closed cell elastometric nitrile rubber of class 'O' insulation and insulation applied by adhesive confirming to standard OEM specifications secured with 0.511mm Aluminium sheet cladding complete with type 3, grade 1 roofing felt strip (as per IS:1322) at the joints and repairing of damage to the buildings if any etc as per specifications and as required complete in all respects.The size of pipes and insulation shall be as shown below:- Note: The Pipe of size 150 mm & below shall be M.S heavy class as per IS-1239 and pipe sizes above 150 mm shall be welded black steel pipes heavy class as per IS 3589,from minimum 6.33 mm thick M.S sheet for pipes up to 350 mm dia

EXPANSION TANK: Supply, install, testing and commissioning of PVC Expansion water tank for chilled water make up water 500 ltrs. The Tank duly insulated with 50 mm thick fire retarding quality expanded polysterene of density 20 Kg/Cum and finished with sand cement plaster over chicken wire mesh and painted with 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved shade. This Expansion water tank shall be complete with float valve, overflow, drain and make up water connection. The tank shall be connected to suction side of pump with all fittings including necessary piping duly insulated but with out any valve . The tank will be connected with make up water tank piping . Pipe used shall be measured separately.
CONDENSER SECTION Design, supply, laying, fixing, testing and commissioning of condenser water piping with MS heavy class as per IS-1239, pipe complete with all accessories such as bends, elbows, flanges, nut-bolts, clamps, vibration isolators(but excluding valves, strainers and pressure gauges etc), The piping shall be laid overhead in plant and underground outside the plant room as per site conditions. Note: All pipes, pipe supports,structures shall be painted with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer and lettering with white paint including marking direction of flow.
(a) The pipes are to be laid out side the building, buried in ground.The pipes shall be given 2 coats of two coats of tarfelt each having thickness of 2 mm and stick with hot bitumen.Pipes shall rest on half round rigid block resting on GI structure including excavations and refilling the trenches and providing suitable thickness 1:2:4 cement concrete pads at 3 M intervals complete
(aa) 200 mm Pipe
(ab) All as per Srl item No.1.71 above but only laying, fixing, testing & commissioning incl painting with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer and lettering with white paint including marking direction of flow for 200mm bore pipe complete all as specified and directed. (b) Condenser pipes to be laid with in the plant, pipes resting on half round wooden blocks, resting on GI structures are as under:-

The Fire & smoke damper shall be complete with electronic temperature sensor and electrically operated actuator and interconnecting wiring between AHU & dampers The fire damper shall be located in the supply / return air ducts.The control panel shall be located such that the reset can be done easily.

INSULATION
Thermal Insulation to supply air duct in Conditioned Space Provide insulation to supply air duct (for indoor conditioned space applications) with 50 mm thick using closed cell anti microbial class O nitrile rubber elastomeric insulation density 40-60 Kg/cum having thermal conductivity 0.035 W/MK with one side factory laminated aluminium foil to be wrapped around the duct. The insulation applied after 2 coats of cold setting adhesive (CPRX Compound). All joints shall be sealed with 50 mm wide self adhesive aluminium tape and covering with 0.63 mm x 19 mm GI wire mesh netting, butting all joints and laced with GI wire complete all as required and as specified.
Return air duct insulation in Conditioned Space --DO-- as item no 2.00 above but with insulation thickness of 25 mm complete all as required and as specified. (in conditioned space for Supply air duct)
All as per Srl item No.2.01 above but except for 25 mm thick closed cell class O nitrile rubber elastomeric insulation complete all as specified and directed. (Nitrile insulation sheet 25mm class O shall be issued free for fixing under Sch-'B')

ACCOUSTICAL LINING TO SUPPLY AIR DUCT Supplying and fixing Accoustic insulation for a length of 5 m from plant room, Insulation shall be carried out with 25 mm thick, 32 kg/m3, resin bonded fibreglass covered with RP tissue. Accoustic insulation shall be stuck to inside the ducting after applying 2 coats of cold setting adhesive (CPRX Compound). The insulation is held in position with rivets or galvanised steel bolt with counter sunk heads and 25 x 25 x 1.5 mm GI plate washers at the centre to centre distance of 600mm. The insulation shall be covered with reinforced plastic tissue paper and 0.5 mm thick perforated aluminium sheet fixed to inside surface of the duct with cadmium plated nuts, bolts, stick pins complete as required and as per specifications
UNDERDECK INSULATION Supply, Install,test and commission under deck insulation with with Resin Bonded Fibre glass wool conforming to IS:8193 and density 32 kg/m3, 50 mm thick, wrapped in 200 G Virgin polythene bags fixed to ceiling with metallic cleats(50 x 50 x 3 mm ) @60 cm centre to centre and wire mesh of 12.5 mm x 24 G wire mesh for top most ceiling of the Building.

ACCOUSTIC INSULATION OF AHU ROOMS Supplying and fixing Accoustic insulation lining on wall of AHU Rooms with 50 mm thick, 32 kg/m3, rigid bonded fibreglass. Accoustic insulation shall be fixed in 610 mm x 610 mm frame work made out of 0.6 mm thick GI sheet U shaped channel and covered with reinforced fibre glass tissue paper and finished with 0.8 mm perforated aluminium sheet including aluminium beading of 25 mm wide and 1.00 mm thick fixed on all horizontal and vertical joints by means of screws etc complete as required and as specified.
AIR HANDLING UNITS: Supply, install, test and commission Factory made Double skin Air Handling unit (AHU) as under:- The casing panels shall be made of sandwich construction of at least 25 mm thick injected with CFC free R141b blended Poly Urethene foam insulation having density of 38-40 Kg/Cu.m and thermal conductivity of 0.02 W/m-deg K. The Casing panels(inside and outside) shall be constructed of 1.2 mm steel sheet coated with 120 gm/Sq.m galvanized Zinc(Zn) and 3% Chromate. The outer skin shall be 0.6 mm and inner skin 0.6 mm .The panels are removable type and are fixed to the frame with self tapping screws. Labyrinth type gasket sealing between panel and frame be provided to eliminate air leakages. The entire unit shall be supported on full perimeter base frame constructed from heavy duty galvanized steel sheet. Drain Pan shall be fabricated from 0.8 mm thick Stainless steel grade SS-304 insulated with 10 mm thick close cell cross linked irradiated FR grade Poly ethylene material. Intermediate tray is provided for stacked coils to collect the condensate from the top coil. Drain pan shall be of sufficient width and differential slope to ensure complete drainage of condensate. The AHU shall shall be complete with filter section, mixing bag, water coil of copper tube and aluminium fins. Chilled water shall be suitable for 10 deg temperature differencial, DIDW Forward Curved Centrifugal Fan, belt driven and vibration isolators, Energy efficien motor confirming to IS 12615 suitable for 415+/- 10% volts, 50 C/S, 3 Phase AC Supply The AHU shall be suitable for conventional floor mounting (with vibration pads) for cooling and de-humidifying the air with all accessories and controls for. The required AHUs are as under:-
(a) GF-AHU 2 - 20291 CFM at 80 mm wg STP
(b) FF-AHU 1 - 17343 CFM at 80 mm wg STP
(c) FF-AHU 2 - 21364 CFM at 80 mm wg STP
(d) All as per Srl item 2.09 above but installation, testing and commissioning of GF-AHU 1 - 9787 CFM at 80 mm wg STP complete all as specified and directed. (AHU shall be issued free for fixing under Sch-B)
(e) All as per Srl item 2.09 above for SS-AHU 1 - 13713CFM at 80 mm wg STP complete all as specified and directed. (AHU shall be issued free for fixing under Sch-B)
(f) All as per Srl item 2.09 above for SS- AHU 2 - 15852 CFM at 80 mm wg STP complete all as specified and directed. (AHU shall be issued free for fixing under Sch-B)
Each AHU shall comprise of (i) Cooling Coil 6 Rows with copper tubes (As per OEM Equipment design), 12-13 aluminium fins per inch (ii) Pre filter having dust Filtration capacity 90% efficiency down to 10 microns(synthetic non woven, fire retardent type suported with aluminium & HDPE mesh and generally conforming to EU-3 & EU-779 specifications) (iii) Micro Vee filter having dust Filtration capacity 95% efficiency down to 5 microns conforming to EU-7 specifications. Magne helic gauges be provided to read pressure drop across the Filter bank. (iv) Fan section fitted with statically and dynamically balanced Forward curved blower fan DIDW type suitable to requisite static pressure with belt diven Squirrel cage, Induction Motor, TEFC, 415 V, 3 phase, 50 Hz, AC suply, class 'F' insulation. The motor shall be energy efficient confirming to IS 12615. (v) Electrically controlled /operated control such as humidistat ( to control humidity) and stand alone micro controller based LCD proportionate temperature controller (to control 3 way modulating mixing valve) along with all equipment and accessories including 230V/24 V class 2 transformer. (vi) Pan type Humidistat and dry steam reheaters to control air humidity(20-80%) (vii) Self lubricating bearings with removable panels (viii) Sloped bottom to collect humidification and condensed water and draining piping of sufficint size and length as per standard practice. (ix) Moisturer drop eliminators be provided in AHU to avoid carry away of water condensed. (x) Suitable Fire retardent canvas connection at the outlet of blower (xi) Each Ahu shall be provided with interlocking with Smoke Detectors which are being provided by another Agency. (xii) Each AHU shall be provided with Aluminium extruded Fresh air intake louvres with bird screen, dampers and rain protection (xiii) Each Ahu shall also be provided with (aa) Butter Fly valves - 2 Nos(one at inlet and another at outlet (ab) Y strainer on incoming supply (ac) Automatic air vent valve (ad) drain plug with valve (ae) Manual air vent valve (af) Insertion test ports (Pressure, temperature ports with out Gauges)-3 Nos (ag) Union couplings -2 Nos(ah) 3 Way mixing valve(ah) Automatic Balance valve The Contractor can refer to the drawing enclosed.
