REPAIR/ RESURAFACING OF INTERNAL ROAD AT BIAMAH, HANUTHANG, ACHINATHANG, KHALTSI AND LAMAYURU UNDER AGE B/R-II, GE KHUMBATHANG

M&L for repair to pot holes any depth not exceeding 1.00 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in road, paths, etc, cutting around edges to at least 25mm thick in depth, but making good by applying tack coat @ 5 kg per 10 sq m, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chippings) depth of potholes exc 30 mm using paving bitumen and filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for providing premix bituminous, using paving bitumen (VG-30 Grade) of any penetration as binder content of 4% by weight of total mix by mechanical paver, laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power roller and rolled to a uniform smooth surface (consolidated thickness 75mm or less), complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt or with mechanical air compressor etc. and applying evenly a priming/ tack coat at the rate of 5 kg per 10 Sqm (using paving bitumen VG 10 grade) of road surface complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L Bituminous premix semi dense asphaltic concrete 30 mm thick consolidated thickness (using paving bitumen VG-30 grade) with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, spread by means of self propelled mechanical spreader/ paver, rolled and compacted to requireds camber and gradient by using mechanical power roller 8 to 12 tonne capacity, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- As a result of job mix formula, if quantity of binder content works out to be more than 5.5% than no extra payment shall be made to the contractor and in case its quantity works out to be less than 5.5% than minimum binder content of 5.5% given he in above shall be provided.

S&F of dual directional reflective road stud (cat eye) of aluminium alloy body solid of size 110 x 120 x 23.5 mm double moulded solid state having ultra voilet resistant colour (white/red/yellow) on road with epoxy adhesive, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in- Charge. Make- Cat Part No. DA-972 of Dark Eye or equivalent model of Sun Eyes/ Saflow.

M&L for thermoplastic paint on black top surfaces or existing paint surfaces applied hot mixing plant of heating of thermoplastic materila to a standard temprature with gas and laying standard thickness of minimum 2 mm by wusing thermo plastic material @ 6.5 Kg/ Sqm and glass beads @ 250 gms/ Sqm including cleaning of old surfaces, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.
