250 KVA CS250D5P, CPCB-II silent cummine D.G. Set with Cummins Engine Model 618.9TAA-G4 13,6-cylinders, inline 4- stroke cycle. Water cooled turbochared air cooled,developing 335 BHP at 1500 RPM under NTP conditions of BS: 5514. The engine shall be provided with electric starting arragement and shall give the electric output of 250 KVA/200 KW at 0.8 power factor, 415 Volts at the alternator terminal with 250 KVA AMF panel.

CONTROL PANEL FOR DG SET :

The Generator control shall be indoor type, floor mounted, dust and vermin proof in sheet steel construction. The panel shall have doors at the front and back for proper maintenance. The panel shall have steel channel fabricated kick-plate and bolted type cable gland plate fitted at the bottom. The panel shall be constructed from 2 mm thick steel sheet. All the joints shall have proper gaskets. Monitoring and control devices shall be housed on the front door. Generally the construction of the panel will be such that various equipment’s for applications will be housed in compartments. All incoming and outgoing power and control cables shall be from the bottom.

The panel will be equipped as follows :-

Incomer - 1 no. 3 pole, 500Amp MCCB, Set of CTs for metering.

Indication Lamps :- Genset Running, Set on Load, Phase Indication.

SOUND ATTENUATED SYSTEM

Thickness of sheet - 16 - G

High class sheet metal fabricated enclosure for reducing the noise level of DG set & also acts as a weather proof housing. Genset will be a integral part of acoustic enclosure and whole construction will be on multi-fold sheet channels & ISMC sections. Enclosure construction is fully bolted keeping in view the major service requirements all doors are provided with specially designed hinges and lockable handles, Battery, Fuel tank is housed inside the enclosure.

ACCOUSTIC MATERIALS :-

Rock wool in the form of slabs of 100 mm thickness and 96 KG/Metric cube density (Specification of Rock wool conforms to IS 8183).

VENTILATION

Acoustic enclosure is designed in such a way that there are no hot pockets around engine and it is provided with suitable designed engine radiator which does not allow the temperature to rise more than 70C above ambient temperature. To achieve optimal output and minimum sound level from the DG set, suitable openings are provide for increasing the inflow of air required for combustion & forced ventilation. Air intake system as per the recommendations and engine requirement are provided.

The sound control system designed to suppress the sound level to 75 db maximum at 1 mtr. distance in open free field environment as per ISO 8528 part 10.

SILENCER

Specially designed low noise silencer is provided. Silencer & engine exhaust outlet, Connected with flexible SS below.

VIBRATION ISOLATION:-

To avoid transfer of vibration from genset to enclosure & surrounding specially designed vibration isolators are used.

Complete rate of DG Set including, Price of DG set, Price of AMF Panel, Installation chargeres Cable connection etc. completes in all respects: -

Providing/filling Diesel in the existing Diesel Set of Generator as required complete in all respect.

Excavation in foundation, trenches etc. in earth work, lift upto 1.50 meters stacking the excavated soil not more than 3 meters clear from the edge of excavation and then returning the stacked soil in 15 cm layers, when required into plinths sides of foundations etc. consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering and then disposing of all surplus excavated earth as directed with in a lead of 20 meters complete in pick and jumper work.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:4:8 (1 Cement: 4 Sand: 8 graded crushed stone aggregate 40mm nominal size) and cutting complete excluding cost of form work in foundation and plinth.

Providing form work with steel plates 3.15mm (Three decimal one five millimeters) thick welded with angle iron in frame 30x30x5mm so as to give a fair finish including centering, shuttering, structting and propping etc. with wodden battens and ballies, height of propping and centering below supporting floor to ceiling not exceeding 4 mtrs. and removal of the same for institu-reinforced concrete & plain contcrete work in. foundation, footings basis of columns etc. and mass concrete.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 Cement : 2 Sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) mechanically mixed and vibrated and curing complete excluding cost of form work in foundation and plinth etc.

Filling in plinth with sand under floors including watering ramming consolidating and dressing complete.

SUB-HEAD-II :- EARTHING & LOOP EARTHING

Earthing with copper earth plate 600 mmx600 mmx 3 mm thick, including accessories and providing masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement and watering pipe etc. ( but without charcoal or coke and salt ) complete as required.

Extra for using salt and charcoal for G.I. or copper plate earth electrode complete as required.

Supplying and erection of following depth sheet metal cubical pedestal of suitable dimensions with plus-minus 5 cm variation, made from 1.6 mm thick M.S. sheet duly fabricated in a segregated manner for housing of switch fuse units, by welding each compartment on five sides & front side hinged, complete with locking arrangement, with sufficient No. vertical and horizontal intermediate switchgear housing compartments. The cubical pedestal shall have cable entry box at one or two sides, with epoxy powder coated approved paint and bonding to the existing earth etc. The same shall be erected in the 1:2:4 cement concrete plat-form of suitable dimensions 15 cm high from ground level and 45 cm thick. The cubical pedestal shall be 15 cm from the top of cement concrete plat-form:-
