CONSTRUCTION OF NEW HEAVY EQUIPMENT BUILDING FOR PREPARATORY CIVIL WORKS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF NEW 10000 MT AMMONIA STORAGE TANK AND ALLIED STRUCTURES AT FACT CD.

Clearing jungle including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1m above ground level and removal of rubbish and cleared items to locations pointed out by Engineer in-charge (EiC), with in a lead of 50m.

Surface dressing of the ground including removing vegetation and inequalities not exceeding 15cm deep and disposal of rubbish, with in a lead of 50m at locations pointed out by Engineer in-charge in all kinds of soil

Felling trees of the girth (measured at a height of 1 m above ground level), including cutting of trunks and branches, removing the roots and stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material - Beyond 60 cm girth upto and including 120 cm girth

Felling trees of the girth (measured at a height of 1 m above ground level), including cutting of trunks and branches, removing the roots and stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material - Beyond 120 cm girth upto and including 240 cm girth

Disposal of moorum / building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste material by mechanical transport including loading, transporting, unloading in areas with in a lead of 10km in FACT CD premises in for all lifts, complete as per directions of EiC.

Charges for conveying the surplus earth to places approximately 10 kms away and dumping at low lying places as directed by the Engineer in-charge.

Supplying and stacking good earth brought from outside, at locations pointed out by the engineer in-charge

Earth work in excavation in open areas (exceeding 1.5m in width as well as 10sqm on plan) by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in all kinds of soil, for lifts up to 1.5m from existing ground level, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal with in a lead of 50m as directed by the Engineer in-charge.

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator) / manual means in foundation trenches in all kinds of soil, including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift up to 1.5m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil up to a lead of 50m, as directed by the Engineer in-charge . The rates shall include bailing out water, and keeping the sides from collapsing using necessary timbering, planking, and shoring.

Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, for lead up to 50m and lift up to 1.5m.

Supplying, diluting, and injecting the ground with Chlorpyriphos/Lindane E.C. 20% with 1% concentration at 1 litre per holes of 300mm depth dug 1m apart at both directions, covering the area under construction.

Providing hard core layer of required thickness using 40mm nominal size graded hard granite broken stones after compacting the underlying soil, spreading and levelling the stones and then spreading a layer of 6mm downgraded crushed aggregates on top of the broken metal layer and it shall be watered in order to force the crushed fine aggregates into the void spaces of the broken stone and repeat the process till all the voids are filled with crushed fine aggregates right up to the edges of hard core layer, including cost of all materials and labour charges etc, complete.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete work in 1:4:8 mix (1 cement: 4 coarse river sand/manufactured sand: 8 40mm nominal size graded hard granite broken stones) including all charges for mixing concrete, laying, consolidating, curing, cost for bailing out of water, oil, liquid mud etc. from all sources in excavated pits, trenches, etc. complete at all levels as per standard specifications but excluding the cost of shuttering, and as directed by the Engineer in-charge for foundation / levelling course etc.

Providing and laying in position machine batched and machine mixed design mix M-30 grade cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work, using cement content as per approved design mix, including pumping of concrete to site of laying but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering, finishing and reinforcement, including admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate, retard setting of concrete, improve workability without impairing strength and durability as per direction of Engineer in-charge. (Note: - Cement content considered in this item is @ 340 kg/cum. Excess cement used as per design mix is payable separately) – for all works below plinth level

Reinforced cement concrete work of M25 grade for precast cover slab using Portland pozzolana cement containing more than 25% of fly ash, river sand / manufactured sand conforming to IS 383 and 20mm nominal size graded hard granite broken stones including all charges for designing the mix, weigh batching, including installation of batching plant at the designated location in the site premises or arranging RMC, mixing concrete, cost of adding concrete admixtures as required, transporting, formwork, laying, vibrating, consolidating, curing with minimal use of potable water subject to provision of IS 456, handling, transporting, loading, unloading, keeping and fixing in position, at all levels etc., complete but excluding cost of providing reinforcements. (Exposed surfaces of pre-cast elements shall have good finish with no blemish or mark on the finished surfaces) NOTE- (1) Minimum Cement content shall be @ 330 kg/cum. Excess/ less cement used as per design mix is payable/ recoverable separately. (2) Fly ash conforming to grade I of IS 3812 (Part-1) only be used as part replacement of OPC as per IS: 456. Uniform blending with cement to be ensured in accordance with clauses 5.2 and 5.2.1 of IS:456 - in the items of BMC and RMC -for cover slabs (75mm to 100mm thick) on drain.

Supplying, fabricating, conveying, and fixing reinforcement to RCC works at all levels with high strength deformed bars of Fe500D grade Thermo Mechanically Treated (TMT) bars conforming to IS 1786 including all charges for uncoiling and straightening rods, cutting rods, bending cold, placing in position, and supplying & tying with black annealed tying wire of 16 gauge, etc. complete.

Providing and laying factory made Precast concrete solid blocks of 200 mm thickness of grade M10 from approved manufacturer in foundation and plinth in cement mortar 1:6

Providing and laying autoclaved aerated cement blocks masonry with 230/200/100 mm thick AAC blocks in super structure above plinth level up to floor V level with RCC band at sill level and lintel level with approved block laying polymer modified adhesive mortar all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. All AAC blocks used should have at least 40% of fly ash content by volume and min crushing strength of 3N/mm2 . The horizontal and vertical joint thickness should be approximately 3 mm. Masonry work shall strictly be carried out as per IS 6041 including cost of all materials and labour.(The payment of RCC band and reinforcement shall be made for seperately).

Providing and laying autoclaved aerated cement blocks masonry with 100 mm thick AAC blocks in super structure above plinth level up to floor V level in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand ). The rate includes providing and placing in position 2 Nos 6 mm dia M.S. bars at every third course of masonry work. All AAC blocks used should have at least 40% of fly ash content by volume and min crushing strength of 3N/mm2 . The horizontal and vertical joint thickness should be approximately 3 mm. Masonry work shall strictly be carried out as per IS 6041 including cost of all materials and labour.

Brick work with common burnt clay machine moulded perforated bricks of class designation 12.5 conforming to IS: 2222 in superstructure At all levels in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand) :With Modular bricks

Making plinth protection 50mm thick of cement concrete 1:3:6 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand (zone - III): 6 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size) over 75mm thick bed of dry brick ballast 40 mm nominal size, well rammed and consolidated and grouted with fine sand, including necessary excavation, levelling & dressing & finishing the top smooth.

Plastering with cement mortar 1:4, 15mm thick floated hard and trowelled smooth

Providing and applying fibre reinforced elastomeric liquid water proofing membrane with resilient acrylic polymers having Sun Reflectivity Index (SRI) of 105 on top of concrete roof in three coats @10.76 litres / 10sqm. One coat of self-priming of elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dilution with water in the ratio of 3:1) and two coats of undiluted elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dry film thickness of complete application/system not less than 500 microns). The operation shall be carried out after scrapping and thoroughly cleaning the surface to remove loose particles with wire brushes, complete in all respect as per the direction of Engineer in-charge.

Providing and laying water proofing treatment in sunken portion of WCs, bathroom etc., by applying cement slurry mixed with water proofing cement compound consisting of applying: (a) First layer of slurry of cement @ 0.488 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.253 kg/ sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hours. (b) Second layer of slurry of cement @ 0.242 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.126 kg/sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hours followed with water curing for 48 hours. The rate includes preparation of surface, treatment and sealing of all joints, corners, junctions of pipes and masonry with polymer mixed slurry.

Applying one coat of water thinnable cement primer of approved brand and manufacture on wall surface

Painting with two coats of premium weather proof acrylic / plastic emulsion paint of exterior grade on new surfaces over a coat of cement primer (paid separately) including applying additional coats wherever required to achieve even shade and colour at all heights including cost of all labour, materials and scaffolding.

Providing and laying anti skid Ceramic floor tiles in bathroom areas (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer) of Ist quality conforming to IS: 15622 of approved make and colours laid on 20 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:4 (1 Cement : 4 Coarse sand), jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg/sqm including pointing the joints with white cement and matching pigments etc., 300x300mm or or nearest available size having minimum thickness of 8mm, with water absorption less than 0.08%

Providing and fixing 1st quality ceramic glazed wall tiles of size 300x450, conforming to IS:15622 with a minimum thickness of 8mm, of approved make, in all colours, shades except burgundy, bottle green, black of any size as approved by Engineer in-charge, in skirting, risers of steps and dados, over 12 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement : 3 coarse sand) and jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg per sqm, including pointing in white cement mixed with pigment of matching shade complete.

Providing and fixing 18 mm thick gang saw cut, mirror polished, pre-moulded and pre-polished, machine cut granite slabs for vanity counters, window sills and similar locations of required size, approved shade, colour and texture laid over 20 mm thick base cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), joints treated with white cement, mixed with matching pigment, epoxy touch ups, including cutting holes for sinks or handrails, rubbing, curing, moulding and polishing to edges to give high gloss finish etc. complete at all levels.

Providing and fixing factory made panel PVC door shutter consisting of frame made out of M.S. tubes of 19 gauge thickness and size of 19 mm x 19 mm for styles and 15x15 mm for top & bottom rails. M.S. frame shall have a coat of steel primers of approved make and manufacture. M.S. frame covered with 5 mm thick heat moulded PVC 'C' channel of size 30 mm thickness, 70 mm width out of which 50 mm shall be flat and 20 mm shall be tapered in 45 degree angle on both side forming styles and 5 mm thick, 95 mm wide PVC sheet out of which 75 mm shall be flat and 20 mm shall be tapered in 45 degree on the inner side to form top and bottom rail and 115 mm wide PVC sheet out of which 75 mm shall be flat and 20 mm shall be tapered on both sides to form lock rail. Top, bottom and lock rails shall be provided both side of the panel. 10 mm (5 mm x 2 ) thick, 20 mm wide cross PVC sheet be provided as gap insert for top rail & bottom rail, paneling of 5 mm thick both side PVC sheet to be fitted in the M.S. frame welded/ sealed to the styles & rails with 7 mm (5 mm+2 mm) thick x 15 mm wide PVC sheet beading on inner side, and joined together with solvent cement adhesive. An additional 5 mm thick PVC strip of 20 mm width is to be stuck on the interior side of the 'C' Channel using PVC solvent adhesive etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge, manufacturer's specification & drawing. - 30 mm thick plain PVC door shutters. Rate shall also include Providing and fixing PVC rigid foam sheet 1 mm thick on existing door shutters (bathroom and W.C. doors) using synthetic rubber based adhesive.

Providing and fixing polyester powder coated aluminium work in frame and shutters for doors, windows, ventilators, and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections / appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required diameter and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions with silicone sealants to prevent water ingress i.e., at top, bottom, and sides. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, aluminium snap beading for glazing / panelling, made tight with EPDM rubber / neoprene gaskets and, C.P. brass / stainless steel screws, hinges for shutters and all other necessary fixtures, including aluminium handles and bolts all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer in-charge. Supply, fabrication and erection of structural steel work in built up trussesbolted or welded at all levels with MS angles, channels, tees, flats, RSJs,rods, pipes, hollow rectangular sections and plates for roof trusses,purlins, cladding,gratings, runners etc. including cutting, welding, hoisting, erectingin position with necessary MS bolts including preparation of surface bygrit/shot blasting at all heights including hire of plants and equipments,labour and costs of grits, shots. After grit/shot blasting the surface shallexhibit almost clean white metal and shall have surface finish of Sa 2 ½ asper IS 9954. (Mill scale, rust & foreign matter shall be removed to the extentthat only traces remaining are slight stains in the form of spots or strip)The rate shall include erecting necessary scaffolding works wherever requiredand covering working area during blast cleaning with tarpaulin of goodquality to prevent spreading of dust, paint to the nearby operating areas and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel of approved shade over two coats of red oxide zinc chromate primer.

Providing and fixing mild steel round holding down bolts with nuts and washer plates complete and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel of approved shade over two coats of red oxide zinc chromate primer.

Supplying, Conveying, fabricating and fixing MS inserts of all types fabricated out of MS plates, angles, channels, flats, rods, fabricated pieces, etc. . in RCC/ masonry works at all levels including all charges for cutting, welding, fixing to lines and levels and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel of approved shade over two coats of red oxide zinc chromate primer.

Supplying and fixing pultruded GRP heavy duty hand railing-side mounted design made of Isopthalic polyester resin containing glass fibre content not less than 60% and having fire retardant characteristics meeting ASTM E-84 flame spread <20 (type test) for a height of 1 mtr with 50 mm square GRP pultruded pipe post of 5 mm thickness at 1.50 mtr spacing with pre drilled holes, with 67mm Curved U shape top rail , mid rail and Kick Plate of 80mm wide Half Round shape with extended Flange design of colour yellow with all required stainless steel fasteners, clamps , specials, mounting hardware for fixing post etc complete at all levels as per manufactures specifications.GRP materials shall conform IS 14887 for UV resistance meeting 500 accelerated weathering test with Tensile and flexural strength not reducing more than 5% after exposure. The Hand Rail must be able to withstand 70 Kg concentrated load at mid span without any failure or crack.

Providing high impact Polypropylene reinforced cement 6 mm thick corrugated sheets (as per IS: 14871) roofing up to any pitch and fixing with polymer coated J, or L hooks, bolts and nuts 8 mm dia. G.I. plain and bitumen washers or with self drilling fastener and EPDM washers etc. complete (excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses), including cutting sheets to size and shape wherever required.

Supplying & fixing of 4 mm thick FRP Gutter to be fabricated using two coats of isopthalic grade UV stablized Gel coat as top coating giving glossy smooth surface on the top to take the extreme weather and temprature followed by polyester isopthalic exterior grade UV stablized resin to form tough laminate with extra reinforcement of MS Strip of size 25x3 mm at a distance of 1000 mm c/c starting from one end, embedded along the outer periphery of gutter & anchored into the last purlin/plate properly .
