REPAIRS TO DAMAGED ROOF TREATMENT, RAINWATER PIPES, OH TANKS WITH CONNECTIONS CAUSING SEEPAGE , EFFLORESCENCE, DAMPNESS ETC AND SUNKEN FLOOR TREATMENT IN CERTAIN MD/OTM ACCNS AT MIL STATION JAMNAGAR

Taking down all existing roof treatment incl wire brushing and cleaning loose dust etc from surfaces of RCC roof incl flashing and juntion of parapet complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Demolition of (reinforced) cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L cutting out cracks to V-section in existing roofs or terracing, cleaning out, wetting, grouting with cement and sand slurry 1:3 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L avreage 25mm thick PCC 1:2:4, type B0 (using 12.5mm size stone aggregate) as levelling course /padding with slope incl finished even and fair complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L 15mm thick screed bed in cement plaster 1:4 on padding layer for roof treatment with WPC complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. (Note- Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid separately).

Supply only Integral waterproofing compound

M&L for Water proofing treatment to RCC roof slab including parapet comprising with the following course of treatment / specification from bottom to top:- (a) Applying bituminous primer @ 0.40 litre per Sqm over plastered surfaces of roof including parapet surfaces. (b) one layer of APP based polymeric membrane of approved manufacturer, 3 mm thick, weight not less than 3.6 Kgs per Sqm, reinforced with non woven polyester fabric or weight not less 150 gms per sqm. Polymeric membrane shall be taken to a height of 60 cm minimum) and then inserted inside the groove of parapet wall and shall be finished by a membrane flashing. Note:- (i) Laying of APP based membrane shall be done by torching method and as per manufacturer's instructions. (ii) A minimum overlap of 150 mm and 100 mm should be made in the end and sides of the polymeric membrane respectively and all overlaps and joints are properly sealed as per manufacturer's instructions. (iii) Applying two coats of Bituminous aluminium paint on top of APP membrane cover including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair PVC(SWR) pipe 75 mm dia, single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints, laid in trenches or in floors complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F in repair PVC(SWR) bend any radius, 75 mm dia complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F in repair PVC(SWR) pipe 110 mm dia, single socketed in any length with rubber ring joints, laid in trenches or in floors complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F in repair PVC(SWR) bend any radius, 110 mm dia complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down 20mm dia steel tubing and connection including cleaning for refixing or removal to store complete

Supply, lay, connect and test 20mm bore GI tubing ,medium grade with all fitting, laid in trenches, or fixed to walls, floors, ceiling or laid in trenches etc. complete

Refixing 20mm tube medium grade galvanized with all fittings & fixed complete to walls & ceiling or laid in floors complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F in repair Rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tank of capacity 500 ltrs (cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR Part I complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Disconnecting existing tanks, setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning, etc. and hoisting if required reconnecting and re-fixing in position after Cleaning and removing all scale and dirt, etc, from tanks and from mouths of circulating pipes, etc capacity of tank 500 Ltr complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F in repair Rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tank of capacity 1000 ltrs (cylindrical vertical with closed top) hoisted and fixed in position all as specified in SSR Part I complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Disconnecting existing tanks, setting aside (or lowering if required) for repairs, cleaning, etc. and hoisting if required reconnecting and re-fixing in position after Cleaning and removing all scale and dirt, etc, from tanks and from mouths of circulating pipes, etc capacity of tank 500 Ltr complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Taking down cement plaster of any description on brick or stone walls incl raking out joints hacking for key, scrubing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick in CM 1:4 on the external surfaces of brick work/Stone or concrete surface finishing fair and even without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L Preparation of newly plastered surfaces of wall incl sweeping clean with brush to remove loose dust, sand, etc and applying two coats of heavy duty waterproofing coat (Dr Fixit Wounderproof-1 or equivalent) by mixing water @ 25-30% to make slurry coating and allow 4 to 6 hrs time for drying up of first coat before application of second coat in perpendicular direction of first coat and further left to dry for 4 hrs complete all as specified and directed as per manufacturer instructions.

M&L Preparation of newly plastered surface and applying Two coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm over new surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Preparing of spalled RCC surfaces due to seepage (nexc 50mm deep) by exposing fully corroded steel in the repair area and remove all scales and corrosion deposits mechanically or ideally by grit blasting, clean the surfaces and remove loose concrete, any dust, oil paint, grease etc and pre-wet the surface with water and allow to dry slightly, apply approved zinc primer over the cleaned re-bars & allow to dry before repair and the substrate should be primed by applying one neat/clear coat of approved Epoxy bonding agent, finally apply Polymer Mortar of approved Make prepared as per manufacturer instructions (laid in 10 to 15mm thickness with bonding agent accompanied after each 15mm layer) to the prepared substrate by hand when primer becomes tacky ensuring that the material reached evenly behind bars incl curing the surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

(b) For area more than 1 sqm and up to 2 sqm

(c) For area more than 2 sqm and up to 3 sqm

Removal of all loose/unsound/bad/damaged concrete or plaster existing RCC structure of slab/beams/walls by using chesel/hammar .Cut and remove unsound reinforcement bars, wires etc without damaging the sound reinforcement . clean loose rust from bars manually with brush . fixing new supplymentary bars if required,either by tying it with existing bars or by welding on it. Applying eppoxy bonding agent and making good with polymer modified plaster/micro concrete as required thickness over a coat of rust removing alkaline primer and match the finishing to the existing surface in ground floor including formwork complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Demolition of brick work or stone/ boulders masonry, built in cement mortar, including all quoins, arches, pillars etc., but excluding ashlars facing, dressed stone work and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M & L for brick work with sub-class ‘B’ bricks, straight or curved on plan exc. 6 m mean radius built in cement mortar (1:4),complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.
