REPAIR / REPLACEMENT OF LT CABLE AND CONNECTED ITEMS FOR CAUTION LIGHTS AT AF STN HALWARA

Excavation in trenches in soft or loose soil, not exceeding 1.5 metre deep and not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and getting out, complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in trenches including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm thick in soft/loose soil, complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point, complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for brick protection with sub class "B" bricks (old size) laid dry, flat in trenches over cable with longest dimension perpendicular to the axis of the cable, complete all as specified and directed specified .

Material & labour for sand cushioning in trenches and well ramming in layers with 8 cm below and 15 cm above the cable with fine dry sand for cable protection, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Only punned thickness of sand 18 cm shall be measured and paid.

Taking up / down worn out / damaged / underviceable PVC insulated underground armoured cable, heavy duty with aluminium conductors of any size, 1100 V grade, from trenches/duct/wall/pipes/roof tops etc, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Excavation and earthwork shall be measured and paid separetaly.

Supply, laying, connecting, testing of XLPE insulated, PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, heavy duty cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross sectional area 95 Sqmm 3.5 core, laid in trenches or passing through pipes etc including suitable lugs and accessories for making connection at both ends, complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Srl item No 7.00 above but of size 70 sqmm 3.5 core.

Note for item No 7 to 11: (i) Factory test of the cable shall be carried out in presence of the rep of accepting officer as detailed by Accepting Officer and contractor is required to submit purchase vouchers, e-way bill and manufacturer's test certificates while claiming payment of LT cables. The contractor will arrange the testing at factory premises and cost of the same is deemed to be included in the rates quoted.

M&L in replacement feeder pillers box factory made -out door type made, out of MS sheet (CRCA) of thickness not less that 3 mm thick of size 75 x 75 x 45 cm with aluminium bus bar strip 4 Nos of 250 Amps rated suitable for 1100 volt (LT) mounted on LT porcelain insulator front opening door two leaf braced with hinged, mounted on 4 Nos of angle iron 50x50x6 mm duly welded with box and grouted in PCC block of size 30cmx30cmx 15cm in concrete 1:3:6 (Type C-1) using 20 mm graded stone aggregate. Top of box MS sheet duly bent in/slope, tapper with projection of 30 mm on all side, weather/vermin proof with high quality of rubber beeding on panel door, cable entry arrangements at bottom includes earthing terminals 2 Nos at both side and painted with two coats of smoke grey synthetic enameled paint over a primer coat including providing MCCB, 4 pole, fixed type 160 Amps, 36 KA rating-01 No and 100 Amps, 25 KA rating-01 No (Outgoing), 63 Amps, 16 KA rating-01 No (Outgoing), complete all as specified and directed.

M&L in repairs earthing with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 60cmX60cmX6.00mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25m deep below the ground level) with top edge of the plate no less than 1.5m bellow normal ground level surrounded from all sides by 15cm thick and packed layer of charcol dust and common salt filling in alternatie layers and electrode connected by galvanised iron strip 32mmx6mm by means of bolts, nuts and washers connected to test termination point protected by 40mm bore GI pipe light grade and GI pipe light grade 20mm bore for watering and inlcuding funnel, wire mesh, RCC pit cover and PCC chamber with PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 including necessary excavation and earth work in soft/loose soil, returning filling, disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50mtr all as specified and shown in Electrical Plate No 3 of SSR Part-I and testing, complete all as specified and directed. Note : (a) The unit rate shall include for GI water pipe, protection pipe wire mesh, funnel, excavation, RCC pit cover, PCC. Test point, GI strip 32x6mm from top of earth plate upto 7.5 m. (b) PCC pit shall be provided at least 1.5m away from the earth pit and extra cost of additional length of water pipes and fixing junction, elbow etc shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate. (c) RCC pit cover shall be precast of RCC 1:2:4 tyupe B-1, 80mm thick reinforced with XPM weighing not less than 4 Kg/sqm.

M&L for tracing out fault in LT under ground cable of any size with help of tracing machine and rectifying the same with joints to restore the power supply, complete all as specified and directed. Notes :- (i) Necessary earth work and cable joint kit shall deemed to be included in quoted rates. (ii) All other necessary arrangements suitable for locating the faults is deemed to be included in quoted rates. (iii) T&P required for the entire job shall be provided by the contractor at his own cost and nothing extra shall be admissible on this acount.

M&L for boring under road, pavement, hardstanding, airfield runways, PTT etc. by trenchless technology using ultra sound technique and necessary machine including HDPE pipe of 150 mm dia PE-100, PN-1.6, complete all as specified and directed.
