Checking of earthing resistence of 150 critical Earthing and E-N voltage monthly with caliberated earth tester meter and multimeter including recharging of earthing with chemical, maintaing the earth testing record, rectification of earthing related fault also complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE:- (a) Testing record and rectification of earthing shall be signed by user and JE (E/M) and verified by Engineer in charge. (b) Measurement of one month shall be treated as one Job. (c) Chemical required for recharging of earthing shall be paid separately.

Supply only of Potassium Nitrate (commercial name kalmi shora) in the earthing chambers for improvement of the existing earthing resistence complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for in repairs earthing complete with galvanised steel earth electrode 60cmx60cmx6mm buried directly in ground vertically to depth not less than 2.25m deep below normal ground level with top edge of the earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5m below ground level connected to and including GI earth lead wire 4mm dia by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts and washer etc, made of GI and connected to test point and earth dolly all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 SSR Part-I 2009 and specified or indicated including excavation and earthwork in any type of soil PCC (1:3:6) Type C1 in chamber, precast RCC 50 mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1, reinforced with welded steel wire fabric or XPM (Weight not less than 4.00 Kg/Square metre) with PCC frame, funnel with wire mesh, 20mm bore medium grade GI watering pipe, lugs, 15mm bore medium grade GI protection pipe, test point etc. complete including taking out existing earthing all as specified and directed. Note: -(i) Item includes the cost of 7.5 metre GI pipe for protection of earth lead. (ii) Item includes the cost of 7.5 metre GI earth lead.

Material & labour in repairs for earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 3.15 mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5m below normal ground level, connected to and including earth lead of copper strip 20 mm X 3 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion and excavation and earth work in any type of strata, PCC 1:3:6 type C1 in chamber, precast RCC cover 50mm thick in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1, reinforced with welded steel wire fabric or XPM (Weight not less than 4 Kg/Sqm) with cast iron frame, funnel with wire mesh, 20mm bore GI pipe medium grade watering pipe, lugs, 40mm bore GI pipe medium grade protection pipe up to 7.5m complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge NOTE :- The rate of above Item includes the cost of earth lead and GI protection pipe up to 7.5 Metres. Copper strip beyond 7.5 Metre shall be measured and paid for separately.

Material & labour in repairs bore earthing 150 mm dia buried by vertical boring machine, depth 50 mtr below ground level using earth electrode 50mm dia GI pipe medium grade duly drilled hole of 12mm dia ,15cm C/C on both side of the pipe including lowering in bore well upto the depth of 49mtr and one metre above the ground level . The pipe electrode should be filled around commercial salt, charcoal dust , copper sulphate and magnisium phosphate of 30 cm layer each upto the full length of pipe. The bore well should have 12 metre of length 150mm dia MS pipe 4.8mm wall thickness for protection of bore well. Welding of GI strip 50x6 mm on earth electrode GI pipe 50mm dia upto the 10 metre below ground level and 15 metre from the bore well to test point gun metal and PCC foundation sorrounding the bore well 60x60x30 cm,complete all as specified and directed. Note :- If GI strip required more than 35 metres , than length exceeds 35metres shall be measured and paid separately.

Material & labour in replacement test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75mm x 75mm x 25mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hex. head screw as required with all accessories complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & labour in replacement copper strip 20mmx3.15mm complete with, protection sleeves, saddles, seperator and fixing screws at surrounding inside and outside the building complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & labour in replacement galvanised steel strip 32mmx6mm complete with, protection sleeves, saddles, seperator and fixing screws at surrounding inside and outside the building complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & labour in replacement galvanised steel strip 25mmx3.15mm complete with, protection sleeves, saddles, seperator and fixing screws at surrounding inside and outside the bldg complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material & labour in replacement 35 sqmm multistranded flexible copper conductor (heavy duty) single core includng suitable lugs/GI nut,bolts and mounting accessoreis complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.The mounting clamp should be Non conductive metarial used in earthing.

Supply & fixing in replacement of Seperator U type, made of porcelain, used for mounting Earth strip, with all nut bolts and connecting accessories complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling of old unserviceable PCC earthing chamber, and Material & Labour for construction of PCC chamber made out of PCC 1:2: 4 type B1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate and cover shall be 40mm thick RCC Pit cover made of precast cement concrete cover slab type B-1 (PCC 1:2:4) using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate , reinforced with mild steel XPM weighing not less than 4 kg/ Sqm, including necessary form work & surfaces of PCC Chamber Shall be finished smooth without using extra cement , Exposed surfaces shall be given three coats of white wash complete , minimum dimention of PCC Chamber shall not be less than as specified & shown on Plate No 3 of SSR Part I (2009). complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer in Charge. Note : The rate quoted for this item also includes necessary excavation and earth work, disposal of surplus soil/material to a distance not exc. 50 metres complete.

Material and labour for replacement of 20-25mm thick kota stone earth pit cover of size 2 feet x 2 feet complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material & labour for replacement of single rod chemical earthing, (comprising of one copper rod,chemicalearthing),copper electrode of wall thickness minimum 2mm not less than 3 mtrs length not less than 75mm outter dia ,fixing of copper earth electrode by drilling/boring 175mm dia hole,5.00 mtr deep in any type of strata,placing electrode in hole,return filling excavated soil by mixing min 20 kg GEL per bore and 75 kg soil resistivity improvement (SRIP) compound as per manufacturer instruction,including PCC foundation sorrounding pit of size 60x60x30 cm complete all as specifed and directed by engineer-in-charge.

Material & labour in replacement of PVC/rubber pipe/sleeve for protection of Earth strip and insulation purpose complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing single pointed air termination aluminium rod 12 mm dia 300 mm long complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing 40 mm bore GI tubing medium grade including fittings laid and fixed complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing aluminium strip of size 25 mm x 3.15 mm with saddles and fixing screws etc for roof conductors above ground complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for PCC block of size 150 mm x 150 mm x 300 mm, made out of PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) for fixing/mounting of running earthing conductor complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing 15 mm bore GI tubing medium grade including fittings laid and fixed complete all as specified and as directed.
