The Multi-Purpose Fire Tender shall be a

high-capacity, multi-agent firefighting

vehicle designed to handle diverse

emergency scenarios including hydrocarbon

fires, chemical incidents, and general

firefighting operations.

It shall be built on a heavy-duty BS-VI

compliant chassis (≈28-ton GVW) with a

minimum 230 HP engine, ensuring high

performance, stability, and operational

reliability during emergency response.

The vehicle shall be equipped with an 8000 L

water tank, 2000 L foam tank, and 1000 kg

DCP system, enabling simultaneous or

independent firefighting using multiple

extinguishing agents.

A high-capacity multi-pressure fire pump

(4000 LPM @ 8 bar and 300 LPM @ 35 bar)

with foam proportioning system, hose reels,

and monitor shall be provided for efficient

fire suppression across various scenarios.

The appliance shall include advanced

systems such as PTO-driven pump,

integrated control panel, lighting mast,

communication systems, and comprehensive

safety features for crew protection and

operational effectiveness.

The complete vehicle shall undergo

TQC/PQC testing to ensure compliance with

performance, safety, and reliability

standards before deployment.
