General Notes: 1) The make/model/brand for all the BOQ items shall be as per suggestive makes of Annexure-B of Section-VII of the tender document. The make/model/brand mentioned in Annexure-B of Section-VII of the tender document is merely for guidance and bidders can prefer any other make which is meeting technical specifications given under Section-V and Schedule of Quantities of Tender document and shall confirm to the relevant BIS codes and other relevant codes. However, the bidder may suggest any equivelent make/ model/brand meeting technical parameters on or before pre-bid conference for approval of BARC(V). 2) The Scope of works which are not included in any specific items but indicated in the document "General Scope of all works" shall be within the scope of overall contract works. The cost of work/item/material indicated in this document shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates of all individual items. 3) The quoted rates shall include necessary taxes, royalties, seigneiorage charges,etc. and all other charges to supply all the required construction materials. 4) For all standards and code of practices, specifications, like Indian Standard, MORT&H, ASTM, etc. refer only latest revisions including all applicable amendments, revisions and additional publications (during contract period) and these have to be followed. 5) Prior approval for source of all construction materials by submission of relavent test certificates, documents, invoices etc. have to be taken from BARC. 6) The contractor has to submit all royalty /seigneiorage slips,etc for all the naturally available construction materials before submitting the RA bills. 7) All dismantel items shall be handed over to BARC(V) in good condition. 8) All transport for men and materials inside BARC main campus and Anu Vihar shall be in the scope of contractor.

Providing and fixing Powder coated (minimum thickness of powder coating 50 micron) aluminium work for shutters, windows, ventilators, Alu Louvers, wall spans and partitions etc. with extruded built up standard tubular sections / Z Sections and other sections confirming to IS 733 and IS 1285 fixed with rawl plugs and stainless steel screws or with fixing clips or with stainless steel expansion hold fastners including necessary filling up of gaps at junctions, at top, bottom and sides with required PVC / neoprene felt etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically where ever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / panelling, C.P brass / stainless screws all complete as per architectural drawings and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge including providing and fixing hinges / pivots and making provision for fixing of fittings wherever required including the cost of PVC / neoprene gasket required. (Weight of the Aluminium sections shall not be less than Specified in the drawings). The work shall be carried out complete as per approved shop drawing and the relavent portion of technical specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing 12 mm thick WPC (wood plastic composite) Flush door shutters of minimum density 0.6 gm/cm3 with specified color and pattern of design. complete all as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note : 1. WPC Door sample to be got approved by the Engineer-in-Charge before procurement. 2. The quoted rate shall include cost of fixtures, paint mentioned above including the WPC shutter and frame.

Designing, providing and fixing of 4 mm thick approved make and shade Aluminium Composite Metal Panel cladding at different locations including soffits of over-hangs but excluding aluminium frame work with grids filled in with weather silicon sealant as per the drawings. The ACM panel composition shall be of 0.5 mm thick PVDF coated aluminium sheet + 3 mm thick low density polyethelene virgin resin core + 0.5 mm thick polyester (PVDF) coated Aluminium sheet all complete as per approved shop drawings and specification.

Providing and fixing Grid System False Ceiling using GYPROC Celotex- Pin / Fine Fissured Model Ceiling Tiles (manufactured by M/s. Saint Gobain) using Gypsteel pre coated (Exposed portion only) GI T Grid system in 600 x 600mm module which includes providing and fixing wall angle along the perimeter of the room with help of nylon sleeves and wooden screws at 300mm centers. Then suspending the main tee of size from the soffit with help of soffit cleat, rawl plugs and wire rod with Leveling spring clip at 1200mm c/c. 1200mm Cross Tee is then interlocked into the precut slots in the main Tees at 600mm centres in direction perpendicular to the main Tee to make a grid of 600 x 1200mm.Finally 600mm Cross tees are then interlocked into the pre cut slots in the 1200mm tees at 1200mm centres and in direction parallel to the main tee. Cross tees having length more than 600mm are to be supported independently.15mm thick SAINT-GOBAIN Gyproc India Celotex pin square / reveal / narrow reveal edge mineral fibre tiles of size 595 x 595mm shall be placed into the grid size of 600 x 600mm.

Providing and Fixing Homogeneous 2.00 mm thick PVC sheet / tile in flooring and skirting in approved pattern on a smooth and damp proof base using rubber based adhesive of approved quality and manufacturer including, levelling small undulations with plasterof paris if required , rolling with light wooden roller weighing about 5 kg all complete as directed by Engineer-in-charge in approved colour and shade

Providing, supplying, cutting, welding, fabricating, hoisting and fixing in position structural steel members for gates, hand rails etc. using MS hollow circular / square / rectangular sections along with the associated connections including applying a coat of primer using redoxide before and after erection and two coats of first quality anticorrosive polyurethene paint all as per Technical specifications, drawings, complete all as per drawings and specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing following type of approved quality glass panes for doors/windows/ventilators/wall spans/shutters, etc. fixing with aluminium frame work including fixing aluminium channel beading (to be paid under relevent item) and providing and fixing with 2way EPDM gasketing ,to ensure water and air tightness and neoprene cushions /gasket accommadated in grooves all complete generally as per drawings specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: Glass shall be measured as per inner dimensions of the aluminium frame sections to which the glass is fixed.

Providing and fixing decorative high pressure 1.0 mm thick laminated sheet of plain / wood grain in gloss / matt/ suede finish with high density protective surface layer and reverse side of adhesive bonding quality conforming to IS:2046 Type S including cost of adhesive, labour etc. complete as directed by the Engineer In Charge.

Providing and fixing precoated Galvalume Roofing profile sheets (plain/Corrugated) of approved size, shape and pitch up to and including 0.5mm thickness sheet. The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling / self tapping screws of size (5.5 X 55 mm) with EPDM seal complete upto any pitch in horizontal / vertical or curved surfaces excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including ridges,cutting to size and shape wherever required as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and fixing IS:12817 marked stainles steel butt hinges of size 100 x 60 x 2.5mm (heavy weight) with stainless steel screws etc. complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing anodized aluminium tower bolts of size 200 X 12 mm ISI marked transparent or dyed to requried colour or shade with necessary screws etc.

Providing and fixing aluminium handles 175 mm long Inner grip 125 mm with 12 mm dia rod plate type BOW handles ISI marked of approved make, anodised transparent or dyed to req. colour or shade with necessary screws etc. complete.

Providing and fixing mortice latch and lock with minimum 2 nos. of keys with 6 levers and a pair of handles Inside opening LEFT / Right with necessary screws etc complete suitable for fixing in wooden / steel/ FRP/ Aluminium doors as per specifications.

Providing and fixing double action hydraulic floor spring (conforming to relevant Indian Standard) for doors including cost of cutting floors as required, embedding in floors and cover plates with M.S pivot and single piece of M.S sheet outer box with slide plate etc. complete as per directions of Engineer-in-charge with brass cover plate.
