Maint /Repairs to DG set AMF pannel along with Misc items at HQ SAC (U) under GE (AF) Trivandrum

Comprehensive and preventive maintenance of DG set of following capacity to ensure the generator's reliability, efficiency, and longevity of DG sets.The following key tasks typically to be performed during B & C check of DG set as per the running hours and OEM recommendation . a) Check and clean fuel injectors. b) Inspect and adjust valve clearances. c) Examine the turbocharger for wear or damage. d) Inspect and clean the air intake system. e) Check the cylinder head and piston rings for wear f) Change the fuel filter,bypass filter and oil filter g) Change the Air filter h) Change the water seperator j) Radiator cleaning with chemical k) Replace the coolent and engine oil l) Checking all electrical wiring and replace the unserviceable electromechanical switches,pressure gauges,indicators m) Checking the mechanical coupling between alternator shaft and prime mover to reduce the mechanical vibrations during hunting/start/stop of engine /Alternator n) Testing of emission system and minimise the obstruction by removing and cleaning , leakage arresting in exhaust pipe and Air Filter replacement if required Note i. All tests mentioned above are to be carriout by OEM of DG set . ii.Test certificates must be submitted by the contractor duly signed by OEM representative,Engineer in charge and contractor for claiming the RAR. iii. All the spare parts required for B & C Check of DG set will be measured and paid under the respective items of the following schedule. iv. Any damages caused due to negligence of the contractor will be made good without any extra cost by the contractor.

Disconnecting the existing battery of capacity 12V / 100 to 150 AH from the DG set, taking it to battery workshop, draining out the complete unserviceable electrolyte from the battery, filling up with new Electrolyte to the required level, charging the battery, testing the battery for correct specific gravity, bringing back to the location, connecting to DG set, start the engine for satisfactory function all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : Contractor shall provide standby battery till the DG battery reconnected.

M&L for providing and fixing 10mm thick plaster of paris ceiling (Gypsum anhydrous) to flat surface over GI frame work seamless perimeter 0.55 mm thick with two unequal flangesof 20 and 30 mm and web of 27 mm fixed to surrounding wall using nylon sleeves and screws at 450 mm centre to centre/ intermediate channel 0.9 mm thick having two equal flanges of 15 mm each and web of 45 mm suspended from soffit at approx 900 mm centre to centre with Gl cleat and steel expansion fasteners with and including ceiling section (not exc 1.2 m length) of 0.55 mm thickness having kurled web of 50 mm and flange of 26 mm each with lips of 10.5 mm fixed to the intermediate channel with connecting clips across the intermediate channel at 457 mm centre to centre and including hangers 6mm dia G.I (upto 1200mm length) adjusting level fixed to roof slabs by means of ceiling cleats made out of G.I flat 40x3 mm mm size 60mm long and expansion hold fasteners 12.5mm dia 40mm long and including two coats of OBD over 3mm thick acrylic putty, complete all as specified. Note : Rate inclusive all type of design i.e. offsets and projection. The area measured only length and width of room and building. Design of ceiling approved by Engineer-in-charge /GE.
