Scarifying or picking gravelled macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area n. exc 400 sqm and depth exceeding 50mm but not exc 100mm deep and removing to a distance n.exc. 50 mtrs and all as directed.

M&L for 75mm thick (compacted thickness) water bound macadam with coarse aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40 mm size) using aggregate of granite, trap or basalt, spread, rolled with 10 to 12 ton power road roller and consolidated to gradient and camber required all as specified and directed.

All as per Srl iem No 2 here-in-before but except material (Note: Serviceable material will be obtained from relevant item)

Preparation of WBM surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. over the surfaces complete and all as directed

M&L for applying paving bitumen @10 Kg/ 10 Sqm evenly a prime coat with bituminous primer of VG-30 complete and all as directed

Preparation of old black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. on black top surfaces complete all as specified.

M&L for applying a tack coat of paving bitumen @5 Kg/ 10 Sqm evenly with bituminous primer of VG-30 complete and all as directed

M&L for bituminous premixed carpet, 03 cm thick (consolidated thickness) with 0.41 cum of stone chippings mixed with 21.90 Kg of paving bitumen (VG-30 grade) spread with mechanical paver, rolled and compacted with 10 to 12 ton power roller to required camber and gradient and rolled to uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L liquid seal coat applying evenly binder @9.80 kg per 10 Sqm binding 6.3 mm size stone chippings @ 0.09 cum/10 Sqm paving bitumen, applied and rolled to a uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premixed Bituminous macadam, (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) using binder contents 4% by weight of total mix, over primed surfaces of road using paving bitumen (grade VG-30), any penetration, laid/rolled and compacted with 10-12 tonne power roller to required camber complete all as specified and directed. Note: The work shall be carried out by using mechanical paver and rolled with 10-12 tonne power road roller.
