(ii) Sludge Removal : Removal of sludge, mud, silt, sand, vegetation growth or solid particles from bottom surface and internal walls, manually or with sludge pumps, and disposal to a distance exceeding 50 m but not exceeding 100 m away from installation boundary/fencing and spreading in low-lying areas.
(iii) Algae Removal : Removal of algae, calcination, etc., from inner surfaces using rotary cleaner/scrubber machine/wire brushes ensuring thorough surface cleaning without damaging the RCC structure.
(iv Internal Washing : Washing of internal surfaces including walls, bottom, and ceiling of the RCC underground sump shall be carried out using high-pressure jet cleaners. The cleaning shall be performed with a solution of Sodium Hypochlorite (NaOCl) prepared in water at an appropriate dilution, ensuring effective removal of microbial contaminants, algae, and biofilm without damaging the RCC surfaces. Adequate contact time shall be maintained for effective disinfection, followed by thorough rinsing with clean potable water to remove any residual disinfectant.
(v) Anti-Bacterial Treatment : Sterilization of internal surfaces with anti-bacterial Hydrogen Peroxide (H₂O₂) and Silver Ion solution uniformly applied to walls, floor, and ceiling using spray equipment to ensure complete surface coverage. After application, a minimum contact time as per manufacturer's recommendations shall be maintained to ensure effective sterilization. (vi) Vacuum Cleaning : Final removal of residual sludge, silt, and deposits with high-capacity industrial vacuum cleaner to ensure a clean and debris-free sump interior. (vii) UV Treatment : Sterilization/disinfection of tank with UV lamp for minimum one (01) hour to ensure bacteria-free condition. Notes:- (i) The entire process of cleaning of OHR / UG Sump / Service Tank shall be carried out only through a certified agency with proven experience in this field. The agency must possess all requisite plant, machinery, and safety equipment. (ii) The contractor shall produce all credentials and work experience of the cleaning agency. Approval must be obtained from the accepting authority before commencement of the job. (iii) All equipment/material required for cleaning shall be brought by the contractor. No extra payment will be made for the same. (iv) The contractor shall intimate at least one week in advance regarding cleaning. Cleaning shall be carried out only after approval of Engineer-in-Charge. (v) The outlet of the tank shall be temporarily blocked before commencement of cleaning to prevent sludge/silt from entering and choking the outlet pipeline. | 1.02Item No. 1.00 Continued... (vi) The cleaning process must be completed in one day or within the time stipulated by the Engineer-in-Charge to minimize disturbance to regular water supply. Failure to restore water supply within the stipulated time will attract a penal recovery of Rs. 2000/- per day from contractor’s dues. (vii) The contractor shall provide all safety arrangements (safety belts, helmets, harnesses, shoes, etc.) for manpower and inspecting staff. No extra cost will be paid on this account. (viii) Cleaning of the surrounding area, grass cutting, and removal of minor bushes/roots of dead trees within 5 m radius from plinth protection shall be carried out by the contractor. M & L for Cleaning of Jack Well by removing the complete sludge, cleaning the walls ceiling & floor to dislodge all the mud, removing of all nearby plants for clear suction, cleaning of filter channel, dirt algae, fungus and layers of calcinations, cleaning with bleaching powder on walls to make it sterilise, painting and marking after completion complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for cleaning of RCC/ Stone Masonry Static Water Tank / UG Sump of capacity 0.5 LG (Lakh gallon) using the below mentioned process and applying two coats of cement base paint of approved colour on external surfaces of the tank including preparation of old painted surfaces and writing the capacity, date of cleaning and due date of cleaning in white letters on black background on front face of the water tank complete to the entire satisfaction of GE/Engineer-in-charge :- (i) DEWATERING : Dewatering shall be carried out through wash out pipe / using suitable dewatering pumps / sludge removal pump sets as per site requirement. (ii) SLUDGE REMOVAL : Removing of any type of sludge, accumulated mud, silt, sand, vegetation growth or any solid particles etc. from bottom surface and inner walls of tank with the help of sludge pumps or manually and disposing where directed. (iii) ALGAE REMOVAL : Removal of Algae, Calcinations etc from the walls with rotary cleaner/scrubber machine/wire brushes etc. (iv) INTERNAL WASHING : Washing of Walls and Ceiling with the help of high pressure jet cleaners using bleaching powder solution. (v) INTERNAL WHITE WASH : Applying one coat of white wash on internal surfaces of walls and bottom of tank.
Item No. 17.00 continued... Notes : (i) Entire process of cleaning of Static Water Tank / UG Sump shall be carried out through any certified agency only, who has vast experience in field of cleaning OHR / UG Sump and having all requisite plant & machinery including safety equipment, required for the same. (ii) The contractor must produce all credentials / work experience of cleaning agency and get approval of accepting authority for carrying out complete job of cleaning of Static Water Tank / UG Sump, before commencement of job. (iii) All the equipment/material required for cleaning of tank shall be brought by the contractor and no extra cost will be paid in this effect. (iv) The contractor must intimate at least one week in advance for cleaning of tank / sump and only after approval of Engr -in-charge, the cleaning will be carried out. (v) The contractor must carry out all the process in such a way that the complete inside cleaning process as mentioned above must be finished in one day or within stipulated time as decided by Engineer-in-charge. (vi) The contractor must cater for all safety arrangement i. e. safety belts/ helmet / safety harness, shoes etc for working man power and inspecting staff and no extra cost will be paid in this effect. (vii) Certificate of tank cleaning mentioning each tank details shall be obtained from the tank cleaning agency and submitted to the department on successful completion of tank cleaning and before claiming the payment in RAR / FB.

Testing of water samples as per IS:10500 (Amended up to date) from any NABL approved / Govt laboratory tested for its parameters such as physical, chemical, and biological characteristics by collecting water samples from various water supply installations under the AOR of AGE E/M No. II (U-II). Original Test reports shall be submitted to Engineer-in-Charge. Water testing shall be carried out once in month and / or as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Supplying, fixing in repairs, testing and commissioning of Dial Type Water Level Indicator of size 3 feet diameter, 15 feet measuring capacity, suitable for underground sump or overhead reservoir, comprising the Dial made of 22 gauge GI casing, dust-proof, finished with two coats of zinc oxide primer and two coats of waterproof paint, fitted with 4 mm thick glass, rubber beading, and center pointer with locking arrangement complete with nylon line, counterweight, and stainless steel float including taking down existing unserviceable water level indicator of any description complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply and fix in repair Chlorination Plant gravity feed type of capacity 0-10 Kg/ hrs consisting of panel board with copper tube, primary filter, pressure releasing valve, connection pipe including all necessary connected items complete all as specified and directed.
Supply and fix in repair PVC Pipe of High Grade Flexible type of 20mm for Chlorine gas outlet pipe complete all as directed.
Supply and deliver Calcium Hypochlorite granules containing 65%–70% available chlorine by mass, packed in 40–45 kg drums, suitable for disinfection of drinking water. The material shall be free-flowing, free from foreign matter, and shall not introduce toxic or undesirable substances in treated and disinfected water beyond the acceptable limits prescribed in IS:10500 (2012). Each consignment shall be accompanied by a manufacturer’s Certificate of Analysis, batch number, date of manufacture, and proper labeling on drums indicating product details, net weight, and safety instructions, complete all as specified by Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply only chlorine gas in 100 Kgs cylinders to gravity feed gaseous chloronome plant, complete all as specified by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Testing the cylinder and repairs to outlet valve of cylinders will be the responsibility of the contractors and cost for applying mineral jelly to parts etc, deemed to be included in the cost quoted by the contractor.
Supply only stable bleaching powder (SBP) (Calcium hypochlorite) Grade 1 , Availability Chlorine 34% Min, Stability 1/15 Max , Moisture 0.3% Max , Confirming to IS -1065, in 25 kg bag, complete all as specified by Engineer-in-Charge.
Material & Labour for providing and fixing stainless steel (Grade 304) railing made of hollow tubes, channels, plates etc., including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and making curvature (where ever required) and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nuts and bolts complete, including fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners, stainless steel bolts etc., of required size, on the top of floor or the side of waist slab with suitable arrangement, complete all as specified by Engineer-in-Charge.
Supply and fixing in repairs of carbon steel body electromagnetic flow meter of size 400 mm Dia/DN 400 complete with normal pressure 16 Bar, accuracy +/- 5% of reading, medium temperature -20 to 120 degree celcious, velocity 0.5 to 5 m/s, with internal digital LCD display (Flow rate and totalizer), output singnal 4-20mA lulse, communication RS485, IP65, liner material PTFE, measured tube electrode material SS304, SS316L and continousaly power supply to 230 volts, 50 Hz complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note :- The quoted rates shall deemed to be inclusive cutting of existing pipe and putting of flanges, fittings if required, bolts and nuts, gasket complete.
