Development of 80MW 320 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) system through complete EPC mode at four designated locations in Odisha along with 15 years of Comprehensive Operation and Maintenance

Design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, testing, transportation, unloading, storage, installation, associated civil works, erection, commissioning, performance demonstration and 15 years comprehensive O&M of a cumulative 80 MW / 320 MWh Standalone Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) on lump-sum turnkey EPC basis at four locations in Odisha (20 MW/80 MWh each) at Bhatli, Basta, Padampur and New Bolangir, including all necessary permits, approvals, statutory compliances, insurance and associated services. The scope shall also include development of 33 kV switchyard bays at the respective substations and complete evacuation infrastructure from the BESS up to the Point of Interconnection (PoI), including underground cable system, metering, protection and control systems, bus-bar extension/augmentation and other associated works, as applicable, under the supervision of OPTCL, together with all necessary arrangements, approvals, testing and commissioning required for declaration of Commercial Operation Date (COD), in accordance with the Tender Documents and Technical Specifications.
