PROVN OF ADDITIONAL COOLING TOWER FOR AUGMENTATION OF CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING WITH ALLIED WORKS AT INHS SANJIVANI, NAVAL BASE KOCHI

Supply, installation,commissioning and testing of induced draft top discharge counterflow type FRP Cooling Tower of 300 TR capacity (Round bottle shape) with FRPbody and base, water spray headers, cooling tower fills, fan with motor, supporting base frames, as per manufacturer's standard instructions at INHS Sanjivani Hospital AC plant complete all as specifed and directed. Note: (i) Cooling tower shall be made out with FRP type body and water basin , PVC filling with integral louvers and drift eliminator, fitted with spray nozzles of having self rotating type sprinklers, statically and dynamically balanced counter flow type fan direct driven with TEFC squirrel cage induction motor ,necessary LT electrical armoured cables connections from existing LT panel to Cooling tower along with suitable capacity MCB switch gears including replacement of cable trays and supports suction screen, make up quick fill arrangement, overflow and drain connections with necessary valves and suitable inspection ladder, access arrangement for cooling tower interior,erected on RCC staging to match with exisiting delta cooling towers and water level of CTs of suitable height and size with necessary foundation anti-vibration mountings etc complete as specified by manufacturer including painting of complete pipelines and staging etc of the platform of the cooling tower. Make : Delta Model No 5092 or equivalent in advance/Mihir/Paharpur. (ii) The surface clearance adjacent to the existing cooling tower (location for new cooling tower) including demolition of old existing supports RCC/PCC pillars and structures to be cleaned before installation works. The rate for the same deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

(iii) XLPE cable for the work shall be measured and paid seperately (iv) RCC staging works requires to erect the cooling tower with suitable height,size with anti vibration mountings etc complete as specified by the OEM shall be provided to match with the existing cooling towers. Before commencement of work the contractor shall submit design drawings of RCC staging as per site requirement duly recommended by OEM for approval of GE. The rate for the same shall be deemed to be included in quoted rate . The tenderer should visit the site to check site/soil conditions to design the RCC staging before bidding the tender. (v) Reducer to connect the condenser pipe with cooling tower also shall be provided by the contractor as per OEM specification. The rate for the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (vi) Any special items/accessories left out in the contract for successful completion of the work shall be provided by the contractor and the cost for the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Supply and laying condenser water pipe line dia 200 MM and fitting made out of GI pipe Heavy 'B' Class pipe with all controls & fittings complete with materials along with necessary clamps, vibration isolators and fittings such as tees, bends,etc adequately supported on rigid supports etc all as specified and directed. Note: Any connected works related re-routing of existing condenser piping lines/cables welding/fabrication works shall be included in quoted rate.

Supply and installation PN 1.6 manual butterfly valve of sizes 200 mm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and installation of Y strainer 200 mm complete all as specified and directed

Supply, laying and testing cable XLPE Insulated , PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 25 sq mm 4 core complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- The excavation works required for laying the cable in roads (Appx 3 mtrs) with GI tubing and suitable cable tray as per site requirement for entire length shall be provided by the contractor. The rate for the same deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Supply and fixing and connecting up Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe as directed/specified for loop earthing etc as required of galvanised iron strip of size 32 x6 mm complete all as specified and directed. Note; This item shall be measured for the quantity used at site after the length of strip 7.5 Mtr complete all as specified and as directed.

Materials and labour for earthing complete with galvanised iron earth plate electrode of size 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick, burried directly and vertically in ground, earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below ground level connetced with and including galvanised earth strip of size 32 x 6mm (Upto length of 7.5Mtr strip including) by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts and washers made of galvanised iron or steel earthing lead to be protected by galvanised iron pipe 40 mm bore (medium grade) and other end connected to earthing test point or lightening arrestor or main controlling switch as directed including providing funnel with 20mm bore galvanised iron pipe (light grade), wire mesh, charcoal or coke and common salt in alternate layer of 15cm (compacted thickness) all round the earth electrode, concrete earth pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (with 20mm graded aggregate), 50mm thick precast RCC (1:2:4) cover slab (re-inforced with 8mm dia complete all as specifed and directed.

Dismantling of AHU panels including cooling coil, foundation channels (adjustable type motor frame stand) and cooling coil pan and checking, arresting the leaks of cooling coil by forced pressurised water and testing and aligning and refixing after completing the work including replacement of foundation channels and base nuts, bolts, repairs/servicing to blowers, repairs/replacement of pulley to motor with new/existing motor, replacement of drain pipes, refixing of AHU motors (new/Existing motor) for smooth temperature control of existing AHU system and complete painting with one coat of primer and two coat of synthetic enamel paint of suitable colour all as specified and as directed by EIC.

M&L for hardcore of broken stone or boulders gauge n.exc 63mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n.exc 15cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for 75mm thick cement concrete type D2 1:4:8 type using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in sub base complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for coarse aggregate for granolithic floors graded from 12.5mm to 4.75mm under floors or in foundations, spreading and levelling in layers n.exc 25cm thick incl well ramming including watering as required complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for machine pressed precast concrete interlocking coloured paver block any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 60mm thickness M-35 grade with grey cement and pigment complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C1 with using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in coping on walls finished even and fair including necessary form work complete all as specified and as directed.

Removal of excavate materials to a distance exc 250m and n.exc 500m complete all as specified and directed.

M & L Steel structural fabrication for support to pipe works fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts,cable trays,clamps bolts,washers, welding ,bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of one primary coat, one under coat and one finishing coat of paint complete all as specified and directed .
