Dismantling/taking down carefully aluminium/ copper point wiring (light, fan,socket or power) complete, including fixtures and fittings such as switches, ceiling rosees, pendants, regulators , sockets, light fittings etc., removing materials to stores for keeping in safe custody for taking credit and making good the disturbed surfaces of walls,ceilings etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Labour only for preventive maintenance of storage type electric water heater (Geyser) incl making functional of unserviceable geyser of any capacity comprising of the following work at different locations under AOR of GE (South) Ambala of any make, complete all as specified and as directed. (a) Inspection of geyser after opening bottom cover plate. (b) Examine any water leakage from geyser/storage tank. (c) Carry out operation of all stop cocks, pressure reducing valves, etc. to ensure free movement of the working parts. (d) Replace washers and glands to ensure smooth functioning. (e) Inspect vent pipes and remove blockage obstruction if any. (f) Check and correct earth continuity of electrical items. (g) Check and correct temperature setting of thermostats. (h) Items reqd for replacement will measured under respective item of BOQ. (j) Job card/ complaint slip issued by complaint cell / JE /Engineer-in-Charge shall be deposited by contractor or his repersentative on daily basis after attending the complaint including mentioning the items replaced duly signed by the user on complaint slip. If the job cards not deposited within 48 hrs duly completed, the penalty @ Rs. 50/- per day will be charged till the deposition of job cards and amount shall be deducted from the contractor dues.

Taking down old unserviceable geyser of cap 25/50 ltrs including all necessary electrical/water connection and keeping in safe custody for reuse/ repairs /servicing/overhauling etc and checking serviceability of parts, necessary cleaning, fixing removing & replacement of defective/ unserviceable parts, if any, with new parts, reassembling the geyser, making necessary adjustment and proper fixing the repaired geyser in position, connecting to existing electric sources and testing at site complete all as specified and directed. NOTE : - (i) Re-fixing after repair i.e. cleaning externally and internally complete deemed to be included in above quoated rate. (ii) Job cards will be deposited duly completed within 72 hrs as directed by Engineer-in-Charge, the penalty @ Rs. 50/- per day will be charged till the deposition of job cards and amount shall be deducted from the contractor dues. 3. Items as required for replacement shall be measured under respective item of BOQ.
