REPAIR/RESURFACING TO INTERNAL ROADS AND REPLACEMENT OF ROAD MARKING PAINT AT NAA UNDER GE (N) TEZPUR

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area n.exc 400 sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 75mm thick (Compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregate of grading 2(63 to 40mm size) with Limstone, sandstone flint or quartzite, spread, rolled and consolidation to gradient and camber required with 8 to 10 tonne power roller coplete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam 75mm or less consolidated thickness by using paving bitumen VG-30 grade with binder content @ 4% weight of total mix laying with mechanical pavewr rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient by using 8 to 10 tonne capacity poweer roller complete all as specified and directed Notes:- The contractor's quoted rates shall also be deemed to include the following elements: (i) The contractor shall get the mix design done through National Test House, SEMT wing CME, Regional Research Labs, IITs, National Institutes of Technology, Govt Engineering College or any Govt laboratories and the same shall be got approved from the GE before providing Bituminous Macadum. (ii) If actual design mix comes less than 4% binder content, then the rate of recovery of bitumen shall be as per rate in purchase vouchers per kg for the purpose of adjustment. However, no adjustment shall be made if the binder content is required more than 4%.

Preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc.

M&L for applying evenly a priming/tack coat with RS1 grade catonic emulsion @ 7.5 Kg per 10 Sqm using mechanical sprayer on black top surfaces complete all as specified and directed

M&L for preparation of old black bituminous top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms & finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc complete in all respect as specified & directed

M&L for evenly a tack coat of Cationic Bitumen Emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS: 8887 at a rate of application of 0.2-0.3 kg/sqm on bituminous surface as specified in Table 500-5 of MORTH specification for road and bridge works 2013, using mechanical sprayer after cleaning of existing surface as specified and directed complete in all respect as specified & directed.

M&L for repair to pot holes of any depth not exceeding 1.00 Sqm each incl sweeping free from dust & mud of water scoring sunken surface in road etc, cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth making good by applying tack coat of catoinic emulsion RS I grade @ 2.5kg per 10 sqm and putting in premixed bituminous macadam ,well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sqm, blinded with 0.09 cum of stone chippings,6.3 mm size and again well rammed(including supply of premixd macadam, binder and chippings complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Providing & laying design mixed, semi dense bituminous concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with minimum 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, using paving bitumen of VG-10 or VG-30, rolled & consolidated to required gradient & camber with power road roller exc 8 tonne & n.exc 12 tonne complete in all respect as specified & directed.
