Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 11 KV Compact Substation (CSS) out door type plinth mounted, enclosure having construction of Powder Coated/ Galvanised sheet steel of 1.6 mm thickness for non load bearing and 2.0 mm for load bearing partition sheets, and door with HRCA 4.00 mm base frame. The enslosure shall have IP54 degree of protection for HT< switchgear components and IP34 degree of prptection for Transformer component. Each components will be provide with corrosion resistance and all side openable hinged door and lock and key arrangements. Heave lifting lugs with all equipments load. Necessary denger plates outside of the CSS. The compartment illumination lamp with door operated switch shall be provided for all the compartment including necessary foundation and earth work as per manufacturer's recommendation and as per the site conditions (drawing and specifications of the foundation recommended by the manufacturer to be approved by CWE before commencement of the work, the quoted rates are deemed to be inclusive of the same) . The CSS is comprising of the followings: -
HT SWITCHGEAR: - 11 KV, Non -extensible 3 WAY RMU compact switchgear consisting of two nos direct Module (LBS) and 1 No Manually operated 11 KV/630 Amps VCB in SF6 insulated stainless steel enclosure with series trip, self-powered microprocessor based numerical over current and earth fault railway protection, HT cable/Bus Bar , and one metering module with necessary CTs and PT and digital panel mounted multifunction meter with class 1.0 accuracy, comprising the following:- (Complete unit is to be installed inside CSS, protection accessories , Enclosure : Metal Clad, IP-54 Protection. Protection Relay: Self Powered Alfa numeric LCD display type. Internal arc tested for 1 sec, fully compartmentalized sheet steel enclosure with automatic safety shutters, GI foundation bolts with provision of cable terminating facilities with powder coated smooth glossy finish and as per follows: - Rated Voltage - 12 KV, Rated Frequency - 50 Hz., Rated continuous current rating - 630 Amps., Rupturing capacity of VCB --350 MVA, Rated Interrupting Current - 21 KA., Rated making current for VCBs- 52 KA., Rated making current for Isolators - 62 KA., Rated short time current for 3 sec - 26.3 KA, Operating duty - 0 - 0.3 sec - CO 3 min - CO, Power frequency withstand voltage - 28 KV, Impulse withstand voltage - 75 KV, Busbar rating - 120% of continuous current., Operation: Spring closing mechanism - DC motor operated with 24 volt supply, Breaker Closing - Manual & Electrical through TNC switch., Shunt Trip coil - 24 V DC, Safety Interlock Locking faciality - Required., Breaker panel indication - ON (Red) OFF (Green) Accessories: Mechanical counter, Space Heater with Thermostat, Fuse and ON/OFF Switch, Aux relays for remote trip/indication for PC interface etc, cubicle illumination lamp LED 9 watt retrofit type 230 V AC, T-N Switch, Anti pumping contractor etc. In addition to the above all standard fittings to be provided as per IS norms Mimic Diagram: An operating mimic diagram shall be provided on the front side of each cubicle. Note: - Circuit breaker complete will be obtained directly from the OEM and not from the authorised system assemblers of OEM. The installations, calibration and testing of SF-6 circuit breakers will be conducted in the presence of authorised representative of OEM by the Contractor. Battery bank with charger for RMU is included in the item rate and rating of battery as described by OEM.
TRANSFORMERS:- Transformers 500 KVA copper wounded dry resin cast distribution type 11 KV/433V, 3 phase, 4 wire LT output, 50 Hz, AN, Dyn11, suitable for indoor installation, with offload tap changer with steps ±2.5% up to ±7.5% on HT side all technical specification comprising to IS 2016-1981, with all necessary standard fittings and accessories complete after necessary testing after completion with the following specifications: - Standard KVA rating: - 500 KVA, Primar Voltage: - 11 KV AC, Secondar Voltage: - 433 V AC, Neutral earthing should be solidly earth system, Frequency: - 50 Hz with ±3% tolerance, Vector Group: - DYn11, Insulation - Class F, Percentage impedance: - 5% at 75º C (subject to IS tolerance) Average temperature rise shall not exceed to 65deg C and max temperature rise of the windings shall not exceed to 115 º C. HV and LV coils should be with electrolytic copper windings, with "C" class grade insulation on HV windings and necessary spacers and air duct for cooling. The losses at the rated voltage should be within the specified limit as per ECBC standard and IS-2026 The transformer enclosure should be with robust construction and shall be built of electrical welded MS sheet wire mesh or perforated sheet for ventilation, with lifting lugs, pulling lugs, top cover fixing bolts, rollers and enclosure base channels. The necessary HT and LT bushing as per IS 3347 and amended up to date HT & LT terminals for cable connection shall be brought through side wall mounted bushing to a cable box with necessary cable entry and glands fixed on both sides. Transformer should have necessary terminal marking plates and rating plates. In addition to the above all standard fittings to be provided as per IS norms
INTER CONNECTION AND EARTHINGS:- The necessary inter connection between HT switchgear and Transformer using 1CX3RX95 Sq. mm XLPE insulated single core Al conductor unarmoured cable and interconnection between Transformer & LT switchgear using Aluminium Busbars of suitable sizes as per the current ratings. Internal body Earthing connections for all the HT < compartment as per IE rules including Transformer Neutral by using 50x60 mm GI Strips. Note -The foundation for installations of CSS shall be as per the OEM design and directions. The erection and installation of compact substation shall be done under the supervision of manufacturer authorized rep only.

TRANSFORMERS: Transformers 630 KVA copper wounded dry resin cast distribution type 11 KV/433V, 3 phase, 4 wire LT output, 50 Hz, AN, Dyn11, suitable for indoor installation, with offload tap changer with steps ±2.5% up to ±7.5% on HT side all technical specification comprising to IS 2016-1981, with all necessary standard fittings and accessories complete after necessary testing after completion with the following specifications: - Standard KVA rating: - 630 KVA, Primar Voltage: - 11 KV AC, Secondar Voltage: - 433 V AC, Neutral earthing should be solidly earth system, Frequency: - 50 Hz with ±3% tolerance, Vector Group: - DYn11, Insulation - Class F, Percentage impedance: - 5% at 75° C (subject to IS tolerance), Average temperature rise shall not exceed to 65deg C and max temperature rise of the windings shall not exceed to 115° C. INTER CONNECTION AND EARTHINGS: The necessary inter connection between HT switchgear and Transformer using 1CX3RX95 Sq. mm XLPE insulated single core Al conductor unarmoured cable and interconnection between Transformer & LT switchgear using Aluminium Busbars of suitable sizes as per the current ratings. Internal body Earthing connections for all the HT < compartment as per IE rules including Transformer Neutral by using 50x60 mm GI Strips.Note -The foundation for installations of CSS shall be as per the OEM design and directions.
