REPAIR MAINTENANCE OF FIRE FIGHTING SYSTEM, FIRE ALARM SYSTEM, EOT CRANE, DG SET INSTALLED AT INS SARDAR PATEL NAUSENA BAGH NOFRA, NAE UNDER GE NAVY PORBANDAR

Servicing and overhauling DG set by deputing authorised service representative to attend the DG set 250KVA capacity (Nausena Bagh, Junior sailor Block & Senior sailor Block) carrying out scheduled preventive maintenance checks as specified on diesel generating set of any Make and to carryout the following checks, preventive repairs, all as specified and as directed by Eng-in-charge. 1 : Checking the fan belt and adjusting tension, Checking the fuel and oil filter, Checking the air filter including cleaning and refixing, Checking of FIP oil level, Tightening the base bolts and nuts, Checking the coupling bolts and adjustment checking the self starter and Dynamo, Checking the battery distilled water levels and topping upto the required level, Checking the panels (Manual as well as AMF) attached to the DG set for loose connections, defects if any in the panel Board and replacement of spares all as directed,Checking the anti vibration mounting and adjusting the bolt, checking the radiator and radiator hose and arresting leakage if any, Checking the engine oil level and topping upto the required level. 2 : Chcking of Control switches, MCCB's, contactors, multi display meters, Engine control unit.

3 : Servicing of DG set alongwith connected Alternator and Panel Board of the Engine shall be carried out as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge and the Contractor shall carry out periodical inspections during the maintenenace period and shall be responsible for the smooth functioning of the DG set for Contract period and shall also attend all the maintenence / breakdown repairs as and when required in that period including attending and rectyfy any breakdown within 24 hrs of comunication, Failing to repair the DG set breakdown will attract penalty of Rs 1000/ 12hr. 4 : Spare parts required for replacement during the maintenance period shall be measured and paid separately at supply & fix rates. 5 : First service shall be carred out within one month of commencement and 2nd service shall be carried out as per directions of Enginner in charge. 6 : Minor spare parts other than those specified herein after but are mandatory for smoooth functioning of DG set is deemed to be included in the rate quoted for the item.

Disconnecting radiator complete from DG Sets cleaning/ scraping of deposits manually from outside of the radiator, cleaning of all copper tubes of radiator with descaling solution from inside & outside with forced feed method & with water and air compressor (by using separate chemical pump water pump & air compressor ) repairing of all leakage with welding, brazing of copper tubes, cleaning of fins and replacement of gaskets etc for the following capacities of DG sets :-

Material and labour for scraping of old painted surface and Spray painting to diesel generating set of following capacity including acoustic enclosure with one coat of synthetic enamel paint including writing of SM/MES No on engine and alternator, body colour shall be apple green, black for foundation base frame, red for all guards, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply& Fix battery lead set of two suitable for 180 AH capacity, 1.5 Mtr long including brass terminal one end, copper lug other end complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Supply& Fix fan belt suitable for DG set of Capacity 250/160 KVA complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Disconnection carefully unservicable alternator of 160KVA DG Set using crane and hydraulic equipment, transporting to company workshop for repairing, carrying out repairs and changing of required spare and parts like stator, rotor, exciter and armature rewinding with suitable size of copper wire including insulation , greasing , oiling transporting back testing and refixing the same after repairs to DG set and testing on load, complete all as specified and as directed..

Supply and fix timer switch for DG set control panel 16Amps ,415Volts, 50HZ, including all electrical connections, fixed in repairs, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix relay system for DG set control panel ,415Volts, 50HZ, including all electrical connections complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix and testing of Power contactor switch for DG set control panel 200Amps,4pole,415Volts, 50HZ, including all electrical connections, fixed in repairs complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and Labour for painting of fire hydrant/fire hose box of any size with one coat of red oxide and two coats of synthetic enamelled paint of FIRE RED colour complete with all fittings etc all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking down old GI tubing 100 mm bore heavy class fixed on wall etc including making good the disturbed surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and laying, or fixing GI tubing 100 mm bore heavy Class complete with fittings like; Tee, bends, flanged etc to be fixed on wall or laid in trenches complete with drilling, welding, bending shaping etc, fixed in repairs, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for painting of GI/ MS pipe of size 80/100/150 mm dia, not exceeding 60 cm girth (in position), with one coat of two coatcof synthetic enamelled paint of FIRE RED colour complete with all fittings etc all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and not exceeding 1.5M in depth for foundation/laying of pipe etc and getting out in hard dense soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick as in soil complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removing surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and deposited where directed complete all as specified.

Disconnecting the electric connection from motor terminal box including insulating the ends of the cable, taking out the pump set from base after opening nuts/bolts, transporting from site to workshop, dismantling pump, removing worn out impeller, ball bearing, gaskets, assembling the pump with replacement of unservicable spare with servicable spares , pulley key, gland packing rope, greasing, transporting back to site and fixing on the existing foundation, connecting the electric connection of motor and testing complete to entire satisfaction of Engr-in-charge for the following capacity.

a) Fire pump set of capacity 80 HP.

b) Jockey pump set of capacity 15 HP.

c) Mono block pump set of 10 HP.

Supply and fix XLPE insulated armoured heavy duty electric cable electronic control cables (Heavy Duty) with stranded Copper conductor of size 1.5 sq mm 2 core 1100 Volts grade, laid in trench , duct or passing through pipe, fixed to wall with & incl clamp and protection pipe, complete all as specified and as directed.
