Excavation in hilly area in all heights and depths and in all kind of soil by manual/ mechanical means including saturated soil comprising of ordinary soil, soft rock, hard rock, chiseling, wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited) and their intermediate classification of soil, setting out true to the required lines, grades, cutting and trimming of side slopes and level as shown in the drawing and as directed by engineer-in-charge at site according to the MORD technical specification Section 300 and 1600 and sorting out useful materials and stacking the same in all leads and lifts in acquired width of road and transportation of unuseful material for filling in road ways, camber, embankments for grade improvements and disposal of all surplus material to the approved dumping sites through all modes of transportation including head load or animal transport or mechanical means along with its leveling, fine dressing and carriage of machineries, materials, tools, equipments and safety measures and other incidentals necessary to complete the work by mechanical means and labour if required. Recovery of stone to the tune of 150.08 cum (One Hundred Fifty decimal Zero Eight cubic metres) quantity at the rate of 300/-(Rupees Three hundred) Per cubic metre shall be effected from the contractor's running bills on pro-rata basis as per actual quantity executed. Any loss to the public/private property during the course of execution shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be compensated by him in all cases and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of material within all leads, lifts and other incidental. Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from road way cutting and excavation from drain and foundation of other structures or other sources graded and compacted transporting to site, spreading, grading in 200mm (Two hundred milimetres) thickness with three wheel 80-100 (eighty- hundred) KN static weight road roller to meet requirement of table 300.1 and 300.2 as per M.O.R.D. technical specifications section 300 and 1600 and as per the direction of Engineer- in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals. Earth work in excavation for all type of road structure such as retaining walls, breast walls, culverts, drains and parapets etcetra in all type of classification of soil comprising of ordinary soil, ordinary rock, hard rock chiseling /wedging out rocks (Where blasting is prohibited) as per drawings and M.O.R.D. technical specification section 300 and 300 and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including setting out, shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious materials and disposal of materials upto any leads and lift including dressing of sides and bottom and back filling in trenches with excavated suitable approved material to the original surface in layers not exceeding 150mm (One hundred fifty milimetres) compacted thickness including shoring and strutting and pumping and bailing out water (surface and sub soil water) upto any depth and any quantam of water including cleaning of slush which may arrise during dewatering and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated plain cement concrete in foundation and plinth nominal mix 1: 5: 10 (one cement: five sand : Ten graded crushed/broken stone aggregate 40mm (forty millimeters) nominal size with 15% (Fifteen percent) plum and curing complete including pumping or bailing out water, dewatering, removal of slush as required at site which may arise at the time of laying concrete complete for all heights/depths including the cost of form work in retaining walls, breast walls etcetera as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge. The size of plum shall usually be 150mm to 300mm (one hundred fifty millimeters to three hundred millimeters) size as per drawing and MORD technical specification section 800,900, 1200 and 1600 including carriage of materials, within all leads and lifts and other incidentals. Providing and laying 100mm (One hundred millimeter) dia P.V.C pipe weep holes in brick masonry/stone masonry, plain reinforced concrete, Abutments, Wing walls, Return walls and retaining/breast walls extended through the full width of the structure with slope I(V):20(H)(One vertical : Twenty Horizontal) towards draining face complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification section 700 and 1200 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidental. Providing and laying mechanically mixed and vibrated Reinforced Cement Concrete in super-structure for all type of structure grade M-25 (M-Twenty five) designed mix with cement contents not less than 400 Kgs (Four hundred kilograms) per cubic metre with 20mm (Twenty milimetres) nominal size graded crushed stone aggregate as per drawing and M.O.R.D. technical specification Section 800, 900 and 1400 including the cost of form work and curing complete but excluding the cost of reinforcement for reinforced concrete work in deck slab including carriage of materials within all leads, lifts and other incidentals as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Enginee-in-Charge.
