M&L for laying dry bricks old size with subclass 'B' made of burnt clay best quality locally available with permissible tolerance, laid straight trench for protection of cable all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Returning, filling in incl spreading,levelling watering and well ramming in layer n exc 25 cm each layer in approved soil Complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Removing excavated surplus material to a distance n.exc 50 m and deposting where directed at alevel n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for renewal of Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60x60cmx6mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 meters deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 meters below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth lead 4.0 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts check nuts and washers of galvanised iron protection pipe light grade of 40mm dia and watering pipe medium grade of 20mm dia and filled with alternate layer of charcoal and common salt, watering funnel with wire mesh, earth pit chamber and cover CI frame PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 all as specified directed and shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR part -I of 2009 connecting to earthing test point all as specified and indicated including all earth work excavation in any type of strata, returning filling and disposal of surplus soil and testing on completion complete all as specified and as directed.
