REPAIR/REPLACEMENT OF CERTAIN UG CABLE, FEEDER PILLAR BOX AND CONNECTED ALIED WORKS AT SUKNA STN UNDER GE SUKNA

Supplying, laying, jointing and testing XLPE insulated, armoured, heavy duty, electric cable with stranded aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade, cross sectional area 10 Sqmm x 2core in trenches /along poles/on wall etc and including taking down of existing Under Ground cable from trenches/ along wall/pole etc, taking down of existing Under Ground cable from trenches/ along wall/pole etc, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Notes for item No 1. : (i) Excavation and earth work, sand cushioning, protection covers shall be measured and paid for separately. (ii) Unless otherwise directed by the GE, the cable shall be procured by the contractor in single length (as manufactured) to meet the actual length of cable as required at site. However, for payment purpose, the length actually ordered & laid shall be measured and paid for. (iii) Cable jointing kit will be measured and paid seperately. However cost of jointing and jointing materials like thimbles etc of cable with busbar etc shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate of above item.

Re-routing and re-laying of LT UG cable in trenches with necessary connections and disconnections for re-distribution of load and including taking out of existing cable, necessary extension of cable (whereever required and as ordered), complete in all respects, as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Notes:- (i) Excavation and earth work, sand cushioning, protection covers shall be measured and paid for separately. (ii) Additional cable in case required and provided shall also be measured and paid separately.

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for laying of under ground cables/ pipes and not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan & 1.5 metre in depth for poles/independent holes etc, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Removal of surplus spoil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for Sand cushioning in trenches for cushioning of underground cable including spreading, levelling, well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm in thickness (8cm deep before laying of cables and 15 cm over the cable) , complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for well burnt Sub-class 'B' old size bricks, best quality locally available laid flat, dry in trenches for cable protection, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing GI tubing, light grade, 40mm bore for protection of cable under road crossing, across drain, along electric pole or floor /wall etc, incliding taking out existing pipe, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note for Item No. 16 to 17 : Excavation & Earthwork and/or boring/drilling for laying/passing of tubing under road etc shall be measured & paid for separately.

Supply and fixing GI tubing, light grade, 80mm bore for protection of cable under road crossing, across drain, along electric pole or floor /wall etc, incliding taking out existing pipe, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Boring (horizontally) using ultrasound technique and necessary machine for passing 40 to 80mm bore pipe for protection of the cable at approx 0.5 to 2 metre depth in soil below existing road, pavement, hard standing etc without damaging the existing surfaces, getting out & disposal of soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre from the site of work, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Cost for provision of pipes & cable not included in the scope of above item.

M & L for cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggrgate) for pole foundation including provision of necessary formwork and finishing the surfaces even & smooth complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggrgate) for pole foundation including provision of necessary formwork and finishing the surfaces even & smooth complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1 (Using 20mm graded stone aggregates) for coping of pole etc including provison of necessary form work and finishing the surfaces even & smooth complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for preparation of old rusted steel exposed surfaces of LT swaged poles of 9m length, cross arms, brackets etc mounted on poles, applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint upto 0.8 metre height as per the existing pattern above the P.C.C coping & one coat of aluminium paint beyond 0.8 metre height (for the remaining exposed surfaces) of the poles as well as on the exposed surfaces of cross arms, brackets etc mounted on the poles, re-writing pole numbers and cutting vegetation growth all around the poles upto 1 metre radius, including replacement of self adhesive fluorescent colour tape as per existing pattern and size, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in repairs 6 KW, three phase, automatic street light control panel with and including digital timer switch with astronomical function for automatic switching on / off street light according to the rising /setting of the sun with combination function for creating switching programs in which lights will be switched according to astronomical time or fixed preset time through programmable 24 hour switch, 32A, TP power contactor, 40A SPN MCB, wall / floor mountable, IP 54 (dust and vermin proof) enclosure made out of CRCA sheet duly powder coated, conforming to IS/IEC 60954-4-1, in-built- short circuit protection, locking arrangement with padlock and panel lock complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L PVC Insulated Weather proof multicore FRLS PVC sheathed multistranded cables with bright annealed copper conductor of size 1.5 sqmm 3 core for connection of light to pole box and taking down the old u/s one completed all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L repairs to existing LT panel / bus bar chamber / feeder pillar box of any size by excavation of all loops and removing damaged UG cable, connecting new thimbles / lugs / cable glands and fixing of new neoprene rubber gasket to make it completely dust and vermin proof, fixing of new locking arragement and replacement of LT panel wiring with appropriate size of copper conductor, repairing of rusted parts of panel frame and shutter with necessary welding works including preparation and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint on both internal and external surface of panel, PCC (1:3:6) type C2 (using 40mm crushed stone aggregate) work in foundation complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note:-The unit rate quoted is deemed to include cost of earth work, PCC in foundation, new thimbles / lugs / cable glands, neoprene rubber gaskets, locking arrangement, Wiring, welding works, painting.

S&F in repair LED street light 60 watt made up of pressure die cast aluminium housing environment friendly with high efficiency LED as lighting source and lens embedded PC cover having TOP Opening seperate driver compartment with IP66 protection and impact resistance of IK07. System Lumen Efficasy ≥120 Lm/W, 10 kV Surge Voltage Protection, Operating Voltage range 140 V - 270 V and including necessary fixing arrangement to fix the fitting with pole complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: For item No.35, 36 and 38 : Contractor shall submit LM 79 and LM 80 report from NABL accredited Lab,Test Certificate and other relevant documents as directed by Engr-in Charge before approval of product.

S&F in repair factory made (CPRI type tested) weather proof, dust & vermin proof street light junction box of size 250 (L) x 250 (B) x 150 (D) mm (minimum dimensions) made up of 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet, powder coated after preparation of surfaces comprising of 04 Nos aluminium bus-bar of size 20 x 4 mm mounted on suitable sized spacer insulators with provn of 01 No MCB SP 6 Amps, 10 KA breaking capacity, "C" curve & two openings at the bottom & one opening at the top with cable glands & fixing with the help of suitable sized MS clamps to steel poles complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

S&F in repair Energy saving, environmental friendly, long life, exclusive innovative die-cast aluminium LED Flood Light 120 watt, Tempered protective toughened glass with IP66, and impact resistant with IK07, System Lumen Efficasy ≥120 Lm/W, 10 kV Surge Voltage Protection, , Operating Voltage range 140 V - 270 V including necessary fixing arrangement to fix the fitting with pole complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

S & F Steel Tubular Poles complete with and including cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts , nuts & screws, type 410 SP-31(09 Metre long), also including painting to the external exposed surfaces with 2 coats of aluminium paint over 1 coat of red oxide primer and with 2 coats of black bituminous paint over 1 coat of red oxide primer to the external exposed surfaces of steel poles embedded in the ground / concrete after preparation of the surfaces, numbering to the poles including taking down of old damaged RCC pole, complete in all respect as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note:- Excavation & Earth Work, concrete for foundation and coping shall only be measured and paid for separately.

M&L earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode of size 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground in vertical position (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below the normal ground level) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth lead of GI strip 32x6 mm by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel, complete all as shown in Electrical Plate No. 3 of SSR Part-1 and connected to earthing test point and including dismantling of old one, complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: The unit rate shall also include for earth work in any type of soil, PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 chamber, RCC 1:1.5:3, type A1 cover slab, 50 mm thick reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bar @ 140 mm C/C both ways, 10 mm dia plain bar lifting handle embedded in cover slab, 20 mm bore medium grade GI watering pipe, 40 mm bore GI medium grade earth lead protection pipe, funnel, wire mesh, copper lugs, charcoal and common salt in alternate layer etc.
