Hill Side Cutting : Earth work in hill road (hill side cutting):- Excavation in hilly area for construction of road in all types of soils & rocks as met at site , true to lines as per plan,L section , camber, super elevation as required , also including uprooting & cutting of bushes ,dressing of road surface to the required level and slopes, with all lead, lift and safe disposal of surplus excavated material at suitable dumping places by mechanical means/ manual means indicated in the drawing with out damaging forest , forest land , utility and private properties ,including slip clearance during hill side cutting as directed by Engineer-in-charge and as per MORD specifications , Clause 1600,

Disposal of Excavated material (Debris) obtained from hill side cutting including loading, unloading and disposal at proper place up to 1000m as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Preparation and surface treatment of formation by removing mud and slurry,watering to the extent needed to maintain the desired moisture content, trimming to the required line, grade, profile and rolling with three wheel 80-100 kN static roller,complete as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5.5.1

Scarifying Existing Bituminous Surface to a Depth of 150 mm by Mechanical Means Scarifying the existing bituminous/ cocnrete road surface to a depth of 150 mm and disposal of scarified material with a lift upto 3 m and lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 301.4.

Excavation in Cutting in Soil by manual means with lead upto 50 m. Excavation for roadway in soil using manual means for carrying of cut earth to embankment site with a lift upto 1.5 m and lead upto 50 m as per Technical Specification Clause 302.3 (for making superelevation)

Providing laying and rolling of cold mixed open-graded premix carpet of 20mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm and 11.2 mm aggregates using penetration grade Catonic Bitumen Emulsion (Medium Setting MS Grade complying with IS:8887) to required line, grade and levelto serve as wearing cousre on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of either Type B as per MORD Specification clause 506.2

Providing and erecting direction and place identifications of semi reflective sign boards as per IRC:67 made of 2 mm thick M.S. Sheet duly stove enameled paint in white colour in front and grey colour on back with red reflective border of 70 mm width and required message, letters, figures with reflective engineering grade tape as per MORD specifications of required shade and colour.
