M&L preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, and including applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen VG-10) at 5 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L repairs to pot holes any depth, not exceeding 1 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring, sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc, cutting around edges to atleast 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) and including applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer (paving bitumen VG-10) at 10 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L bituminous premix semi-dense asphaltic concrete with a consolidated thickness of 30 mm and a binder content (paving bitumen VG-30) of 5.5% (minimum) by weight of the total mix using a hot mix plant, laid to a required camber and gradient using a mechanical paver and rolled to a uniform, smooth surface with a power roller of 8 to 12 tonne complete all as specified and directed. Note: If actual design mix comes less than 5.50% binder content, then the rate of recovery of bitumen shall be as per rate in purchase voucher per each kg for the purpose of adjustment. However, no adjustment shall be made if the binder content is more than 5.5%.

M&L premix bituminous macadam using binder content (paving bitumen VG-30) of 4.5% (minimum) by weight of the total mix laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75 mm or less) using hot mix plant, laid to a required profile / level using mechanical paver and rolled to a uniform smooth surface with a power roller of 8 to 12 tonne complete all as specified and directed. .

Surface dressing not exceeding 15 cm deep and getting out in hard / dense soil as in berms and including uprooting of grass / spalings etc and removing rubbish to a distance not exceeding 50 m complete all as specified

M&L moorum / red bajri spread thickness 100 mm rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber as required, complete all as specified.

M&L preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5 mm thick centre lines, stop lines, dashes, arrows etc. and the like n. exc. 10 cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed.

M&L delineator 600 mm long all directional retro reflected round delineator short made out of 18 gauge MS pipe of outer dia 47 mm, powder coated to have 200 mm wide high intensity reflective band of colour white and red. Reflective bands protected with welded wire mesh cage and including fixing in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 with size of block 150 x 150 x 300 mm deep with necessary earth work excavation and removal of soil to a distance n.exc. 50 m and including taking down complete all as specified and directed.
