Improvement to L085-T7 to Tikarpada under MMSY-Disaster Resilient Roads Scheme in the district of Puri for the year 2025-26

Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting rank vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees girth up to 300 mm, removal of stumps of trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned, up to a lead of 1000 meters including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness as per technical specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling of existing structures like culverts, bridges, retaining walls and other structure comprising of masonry, cement concrete, wood work, steel work, including T&P and scaffolding wherever necessary, sorting the dismantled material, disposal of unserviceable material and stacking the serviceable material with all lifts and lead as per Technical Specification Clause 202 of MoRD by manual means & as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. Plain Cement Concete

Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to a depth of 50mm (By Mechanical means) and disposal of scarified material within all lifts and lead upto 1000m and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches in hard soil within initial lead and lift including dressing and leveling the bed upto the required depth and depositing the excavated materials away from the working area etc.complete as per the specification and direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation for road work in soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross-sections, and transporting to the embankment location with a lift upto 1.5m and lead upto 1000m as per Technical Specification Clause 302.3 of MoRD.

Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts & leads, transporting to site by mechanical means, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Tables 300.2 & clause 305 of MoRT&H specification for Road & Bridge works as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supplying & filling good clean river sand of approved quality including watering to complete saturation & ramming complete with all leads & lifts including cost, conveyance, royalty of all materials & cost of all labour & T&P required for the work etc. complete as per specification & direction of Engineer in charge.

Construction of granular sub-base by providing Close Graded Granular sub-base Grading - III material as per table 400-1, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density complete with all leads & lifts including cost, conveyance, royalty of all materials & cost of all labour & T&P required for the work etc as per clause 401 of MoSRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling of Granular courses/base couse of flexible pavements & disposal of dismantled materials up to a lead of 1000 metres, stacking serviceable & unserviceable material separately with all lifts and lead as per Technical Specification & direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (i) WBM Grade - II in existing road

(ii) WBM Grade - III in existing road

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with smooth wheel roller 80-100 kN in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming,requisite type of screening/ binding material to fill-up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density including cost, conveyance, royalty of material, labour charges, T&P etc. complete as per Technical Specification Clause 404 of MoRTH specification for road & bridge works (4th revision) by manual means and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. (i) Grading No -2 with stone screened dust

(iii) Grading No -2 with stone screened dust reused from existing crust

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregates of specific sizes to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub-base/ base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density as per Technical Specification Clause 406 of MoSRT&H specification for road & bridge works (4th revision) including cost, conveyance, royalty, labour charges, T&P etc. required for the work complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 kg/sqm using mechanical means for low porosity surface including cost, conveyance, royalty of materials, labour charges, T&P etc, required for the work complete as per clause 502 of MoRT&H specification and direction of Engineer in Charge.

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS -1) at the rate of 0.30 kg per sqm using emulsion pressure distributor on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer using mechanical means including cost, conveyance, royalty of materials, labour charges, T&P etc, required for the work complete as per clause 503 of MoRT&H specification and direction of Engineer in Charge.

Providing and laying semi dense bituminous concrete with batch type hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of 10mm nominal size (Grading-II) premixed with bituminous binder of 60/70 penetration grade of bitumen, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheelede,vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per Clause 508 of MoSRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works (4th Revision) including cost, conveyance, royalty, labour charges, T&P etc. required for the work complete as per specification and direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying of 80mm thick interlocking concrete block pavements on compacted river coarse sand free from all organic materials and filling the joints with sands as per drawing and Technical Specification Clause 1504 of MoRD including cost, conveyance, royalty of materials, labour charges, T&P etc, required for the work complete & as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Fine dressing and turfing including transportation by mechanical means with all leads and lifts and placing of turfs in position and ramming with thapies including watering and cost of labour and all materials etc.complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing plain cement concrete M-15 with clean black hard granite stone aggregates of 40mm & down graded size of approved quality from approved quarry consistent with strength & cover of concrete & laying in position in layers not exceeding 150mm thick in the proper packing by means of vibrator to proper slope and to the required level including hoisting lowering laying concrete providing side shuttering & finishing all exposed surface smooth supplying & working of pumps, labour & T&P articles & all machineries, dewatering if required with cost conveyance, royality of all materials complete in all respect as per specification & direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. RCC work M-25 grade as per approved designs and drawings having a minimum compressive strength (in work test) 250Kg / Sqm in 15 cm. cubes at 28 days after mixing and test conducted in accordance with I.S. 456 and I.S. 516 using 12 mm. to 20 mm. size black hard crusher broken granite stone chips and screened and washed sharp sand for mortar of approved quality from approved quarry, washed and cleaned (20 mm. size chips not to exceed 25 % ) to be mixed in concrete mixture with approved grade cement including hoisting, lowering, laying and compacting concrete by using vibrators, watering and curing for 28 days, centring and shuttering and finishing the exposed surface smooth providing grooves or beads wherever necessary including cost, conveyance, loading, unloading, royalties of all materials and cost of all labours, sundries, T&P, required for the work etc. complete in all respect but excluding cost and conveyance of Tor steel and binding wires and labour charges for straightening, cutting, bending etc. of steel tying the grills and placing in proper position as per direction of the Engineer in charge. Construction of precast RCC railing of M25 grade , aggregate size not exceeding 12mm, true to line and grade, tolerance of vertical RCC post not to exceed 1 in 500, centre to centre spacing between vertical post not to exceed 2000mm, leaving adequate space between vertical post for expansion, complete as per approved drawings and technical specifications including cost, conveyance, royalty of all materials, labour charges, T&P etc. required for the work complete in all respect as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply of HYSD bars confirming to grade Fe - 500 cutting bending, binding, lapping, splicing, welding etc. (conforming to IS 1786/1985 specification & jointing if necessary by lapping & tying the grills & placing in position as required for RCC works as per the approved design, hoisting, lowering & laying in position including cost & conveyance of tor steel & binding wires of 18 to 20 gauge(as to be approved by the Deptt.) etc. complete (weight of binding wire,laping shall not be considered for payment at all which will be borne by the contractor ) standard CO-efficient of different sizes of the steel shall be considered & welding & lapping should confirm to relevant clause of IRC-21/1987 as per direction of the Engineer in charge.

R.C.C. of M-30 in wearing coat as per IRC specification having minimum cube strtength of 300Kg/per Sqcm.on 150mm.cube at 28 days using minimum quantity of cement as per clause 303.5of IRC - 21- 1987 & 1S - 456 - 2000 with clean crusher broken 20mm. size down graded hard granite chips of approved quality from approved quarry including lowering hoisting & laying concrete not exceeding 150mm. thick as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge to the required level with proper compaction of each layer of the concrete by means of vibrator providing side steel shuttering, watering, finishing the exposed surface smooth providing grooves & beads where necessary including supplying T&P article & all other machinery required including cost, conveyance, royality of all materials required for the work with all leads & lifts required etc. complete in all respects excluding cost, carriage of Steel & labour charges for straightening, cutting, bending, binding & tying the grills. etc complete as per Engineer in charge.

Rough stone dry packing in aprons & revetments with hard granite stone of 30cm.size & above having individual weight not less than 40kg. of approved quality from approved quarry including cost, conveyance, royality of all materials, cost of all labour including filling the interstics with small key stones by wedging & hammering & finishing to proper slope including dewatering & T&P articles etc. complete as per specification & direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing & laying filter media in the rear of abutment & wing walls using 45mm. to 63mm size clean hard granaite hand broken metal of approved quality from approved quarry with smaller size towards soil & bigger size towards wall & providing over the entire surface behind the abutment, wing wall, return wall to the full height complete to firm condition complete as per drawing and technical specification clause 2504 of MORTH & direction of the Engineer-in-Charge including cost, conveyance, royality of all materials,labour charges, T&P articles required for the work etc. complete.

Providing weepholes in brick masonry/Plain/Reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall/return wall with 100 mm dia AC pipes, extending through the full width of the structures with slope of 1(V):20(H) towards drawing face including cost, conveyance, royalty of materials, labour charges, T&P etc, required for the work complete as per specification and direction of Engineer in Charge.

Supplying and laying R.C.C. Hume pipes of NP3 class(confirming to relevant IS specification) for culverts including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:3 including cost, conveyance royality, labour, T&P,all other materials required for the work etc.complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.(i) 600 mm dia

(ii) 1000 mm dia

Construction of embankment with approved materials deposited at site from roadway cutting and excavation from drain & foundation of other structures with all lead & lift by mechanical means graded and compacted to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5 & MORD clause 301.5 as directed by Engineer in charge.

Providing and fixing of semi reflective cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign board as per IRC:67 made of 1.5 mm thick MS Sheet duly stove white colour in front and gray colour on back with red reflective border of 65 mm width and required letters and figures with reflective tape engineering grade as per Clause 1701.3.9 of MORD for Rural Roads of required shade and colour supported and welded on 47mm x 47 mm x 12 SWG sheet tube firmly fixed to the ground by mean of properly designed foundations with M-15 grade cement concrete 450x450x600 mm, 600 mm below ground level as per approved drawing Clause 1701.2.2 of MORD Specification for Rural roads including cost,conveyance,royalty, labour and T&P required for the work as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge. Providing & fixing guard stones of M-15 grade guard /boundary stone /local stone of standard design as per IRC-25 fixed position as per drawing and Technical Specifications MORD clause 1704 and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Reinforced cement concrete M15 grade Kilometer stone of standard design as per IRC:8 fixing in position including painting & printing etc. as per the drawing &technical specification clause 1703 of MoRD and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (i) 200 M Stone (Precast)

Providing and fixing of typical Citizens information board as per MORD specifications and drawing. Three MS Plates of 50 X 5 mm thick, back plate duly welded with 75mm dia steel tubes back on edges as per drawings. The lower & upper plate will be welded with MS flat iron frame of 50mm x 5mm. The steel tubes duly embeded in cement concrete M-15 grade blocks of 600mm x 600mm x 750mm below ground level. All M.S. will be stove enameled on both sides. Lettering and printing arrows, border etc. will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. All sections of framed posts and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per drawing Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1

Providing and fixing of typical informatory sign board with Logo as per MORD specifications and drawing. Three MS Plates of 1.6 mm thick, top and middle plate duly welded with MS flat iron 25mm x 5m size on back on edges. The lower plate will be welded with MS angle iron frame of 25mm x 25mm x 5mm. The angle iron frame of the lower most plate and flat iron frame of middle plate will be welded to 2 nos. 75mm x 75 mm of 12 SWG sheet tubes posts duly embedded in cement concrete M-15 grade blocks of 450mm x 450mm x 600mm, 600mm below ground level. The top most diamond plate will be welded to middle plate by 47mm x 47mm of 12 SWG steel plate tube. All M.S. will be stove enameled on both sides. Lettering and printing arrows, border etc. will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. All sections of framed posts and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1 of MORD Specification for Rural roads including cost,conveyance,royalty, labour and T&P required for the work and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Maintenance Restoration of Rain-cuts with soil, moorum gravel or a mixture of these, clearing the loose soil, benching for 300mm width laying fresh materials in layers not exceeding 250mm and compaction with plate compactor or power rammer to restore the original alignment, level and slopes as per clause 1902 of MORD specification for Rural roads by manual means and as per direction of Engineer-in -charge. 1st Year
