Conducting Soil Investigation bore hole as per IS 1892 1997 by Drilling of 1 No of bore hole as shown on drawing of 100mm dia by mechanically operated rotatory drilling for soil investigation in any type of soil including boulders Weathered rock and 76mm dia hole in hard rock by diamond cutting to depth 10 m as directed by Engineer in Charge along with SPT at every 1 5m from GL till expected depth SPT and other test required for designing the foundation of building Test report should include all the test required for designing the foundation such as SPT values bore logs soil clarification also should cover the general recommendations for the proposed type of foundation system safe bearing capacity likely total settlement etc the report shall be submitted in quadruplicate duly bounded in a presentable manner The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to be included the cost of submission of such reports and samples of soil The quantities mentioned in ser No 1 above are tentative these will be measured and paid actually executive at site b The work is in restricted area c No water will be supplied by the department d The report should contain following for future reference duly bound in book form as per standard practice in quadruplicate Bore hole chart Profile of all bore hole Bearing capacity calculation Consolidated test on undisturbed clay samples Unconsolidated and undesired triaxial shear Crushing strength of hard rock samples recovered through hard rock Chemical analysis of ground water for PH Sulphate Ch Effect of variation in depths of bore holes due to m strata at shallow greater depths shall be considered Clear recommendation in the form of type of found adopted shall be included in the report 01 No trial Pit Size 1 2 m 1 2m 3 0m 5m away from borehole of building Ground water table to be mentioned in the report Details of Physical and Chemical parameters of Soil Rock as per relevent IS provisions Mobilization of T&P and Manpower
