DESCRIPTION OF ITEMS

Demolition of concrete (un-reinforced) in ground floors and pavings n exc 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (un-reinforced) of any description of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling posts or struts (wood, steel or R.C.C.) any section, in natural ground including taking out embedded portion and making good disturbed ground complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of fencing wire mesh any type complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) each n exc 0.5 cu. m, getting out, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm, watering, and removing surplus soil to a distance n exc 50 m and making good surface in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

S&F MS Hand rails, half round or other stock section or core for wooden hand-rail straight portion, drilled and countersunk for balusters running bars, for doors, balusters, nosing to steps including embeding in concrete and screwing etc. wind ties for roof including securing bolts; posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc.; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Plain Cement Concrete 1 : 3 : 6 type C-2 (40mm graded aggregate) as in foundation filling and mass concrete or for embedding of posts etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only chain link MS galvanised fencing any size or type complete all as specified and directed Note:- Weight of chain link shall be measured through BOO.

Fixing only chain link MS galvanised fencing any size or type including line wires, any mesh, size and type to any type of standards, rails, straining bolts, etc. including provision of binding wire complete all as specified and directed.

S & F Mild steel screw bolts (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, exc 5cm but n.exc 10 cm long and 16 to 20mm diameter of neck and straining bolt complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for MS round bars (Fe-410-W (Gde E-250) quality A or Fe-290 (Gde-E-165))) 10mm dia and over cut to Length bent to shape required incl cranking, bending, spirally for hooping for columns with an incl MS wire(Annealed not less than .90 mm Dia) or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on steel surface of any description exc. 10 cm width or girth including preparation of new steel surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.

~Ditto~ all as Item No 13 above but one coat of synthetic enamel paint on old steel surface including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M & L two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on steel surface of any description n. exc. 10 cm width or girth when unconnected with other painting or when painted in a different tint including preparation of new steel surfaces, complete all as specified and directed.

S & F galvanised 2 strand, steel barbed wire 2.24 mm dia barbed with 2 mm dia barbs at 75 mm spacing and straining and fixing , including securing or tying at crossing with and provision of galvanised mild steel wire, staples or steel pins etc. including taking town complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of Brickwork or stone/ boulder masonry, built in Cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition of precast concrete articles and precast cement concrete block walling built in Cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for precast cement concrete Block Masonary with solid blocks 1:3:6 type C-1 20mm graded stone aggregate exc 10cm in width and setting in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed .

Taking down cement or cement plaster, any description on bricks or stone walls etc including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water complete all as specified and directed

M & L for 15 mm thick rendering on brick or concrete surfaces in CM 1:4 including finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed

M & L for 15 mm thick rendering on brick or concrete surfaces in CM 1:6 including finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement all as specified and directed

M & L for preparation of new plastered or un plastered surfaces of wall and applying two coats of cement base paint complete all as specified and directed

M & L for providing cement concrete type B-1 ( 1:2:4) using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, as in coping ,bed blocks including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed

M & L for PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in surface channels and drain complete all as specified and directed.

Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30 cm inner girth in cement concrete using extra cement incl forms , moulds ,mitred stopped ends etc.

~Ditto~ all as above item No. 26 but Add or deduct for each 25mm girth or part thereof over or under 30 cm inner girth

M & L for 75 mm thick PCC 1:3:6 type -C2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate as in floors etc, finished rough to receive floor finishes complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for chequered cement concrete coloured tiles 25 cm x 25 cm x 20 mm thick , with grey cement and pigments, set & jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed with cement and suitable coloured pigment to match the tiles in floors over and including 20 mm thick screed bed in CM 1:4 , complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling of stone slab and tiles, laid bedded and pointed in any mortar of any description or thickness in floors, aprons etc complete all as specified and directed

M & L for re-fixing of interlocking paver blocks with sand filling complete all as specified and directed.

S & F machine pressed rubber moulded coloured precast conctete interlocking paver block any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006 of 80 mm thickness M-40 Grade over and including avarage 25 mm thick sand cusion for interlocking paver block , complete all as specified and directed.

S & F Bands, straps, supports or stays for rainwater, ventilating pipes, including bolts, if required: hooks (stay), heavy, for large gates; hook and pintle hinges: large hasps and staples; chains; hand made sliding bolts; clamps; hold fasts; wall ties; hooks for hanging fans; plain angle cleats for securing purlins to wood trusses or rafters; knee piece inserts; two way and three way straps, plate washers and similar small articles conforming to Fe-290 Gde-E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

S & F Framed work confirming to Fe 290 (Gde -E-165) as in doors or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces, etc., complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering. Doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging; also fastening and fixing complete all as specified and directed.

S & F Framed work such as grills, gratings, etc.. with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railings; framework of water tanks and similar work con- forming to Fe.290.Gde-E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 75 mm thick cement concrete type C-2, 1:3:6 (40mm graded aggregate) as in floors and finishing cement concrete surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for 100mm thick cement concrete type B2, 1:2:4 (40mm graded aggregate) as in floors/ hardstanding and finishing cement concrete surface even and smooth without using extra cement including making contraction joints at every 2.5m and at every change in direction filled with mastic filling comprising of 01 part of bitumen and 03 part of fine sand (Contraction joints with sealing compound to be measured separately)

Forming Contraction (Dummy) joints 100mm deep x 10mm wide, filled with sealing compound grade A complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of concrete (Reinforced) of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for MS TMT bars 10 mm dia and over cut to Length bent to shape required including cranking, bending, spirally for hooping for columns with an incl MS wire (Annealed not less than .90 mm Dia) or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing pre cast cement concrete, 1 : 2 : 4 Type B-1 (20mm graded aggregate) set in cement mortar 1 : 6, in landings, cover slabs (for man holes etc.) chullah hoods, chajjas, water troughs, mangers, shelves and similar articles with plain faces complete all as specified and directed. Note:-Reinforced shall be measured and paid seperately.

Cleaning of blockage of weep holes of any type or any size in retaining walls by way of rodding and removal / clearing of mud, vegetation growth with rodding up to extreme end and making good the shape and size of weep hole with cement mortar in CM 1:4 complete all as specified and directed .

M & L for providing precast cement concrete bonders (for stone walling) type B-1 (1:2:4) using 20 mm graded stone aggregate, set in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for walling of random rubble, uncoursed well bounded, bedded and solidly hearted, built in Cement Mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for walling (Except stone) of random rubble, uncoursed well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted, built in Cement Mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed

S & F 75 mm bore PVC(SWR) pipes single socketed for weep holes , in any length as in weep holes complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches ,n exc 1.5m wide and n exc 1.5mtr in depth for foundation etc or for shafts ,well cesspts ,manholes etc n exc 10sqm on plan and n exc 1.5mtr in depth and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling (excavated material) including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n exc. 25cm complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material n .exc 50 m and depositing, where directed at a level n. exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 450 mm bore dia Reinforced concrete pipes, class NP-2, laid and jointed with collars including demolition and breaking up of drain pipes (Salt glazed ware, AC or reinforced concrete) set in cement mortar complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cement concrete 1 : 3 : 6 type C-2 as Concrete bed to drain pipes including packing under, and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling floor, hearth or wall tiling incl. cement mortar bedding (but not backing), removing serviceable tiles to store and rubbish off the premises complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for precast concrete Kerb Stones as in repairs of type B1, 1 : 2 : 4 (20mm graded stone aggregate) 10 to 15 cm thick and and setting in CM 1 : 6 including taking out existing broken stone with necessary excavation etc complete all as specified and directed.
