Maintenance painting of Spillway & Under sluice gates, Left HR & Right HR gates with their hoist bridges, Rope drum hoists, trestles , chequred plates, hand railings, monarail structures, rail girders, stoplogs and lifting beams including surface preparation at Anandapur Barrage Project, Keonjhar.

Re-painting of Spillway, Under sluice, Left HR & Right HR Gates after water jet cleaning. After water jet cleaning,the surfaces should be cleaned from loose dust & debris by air blast with help of blower.Over the the prepared surfaces apply 01 coat of solventless coal tar epoxy paint with spray applications, should be performed with airless. The coat should give a minimum dry film thickness of 50 ± 5 microns. Total dry film thickness of all coats including existing coats should not be less than 400 ± 5% microns.The rate should include hire chages of compressor, painting equiments, labour, other machinery,machines for water jetting, scaffolding etc as per direction of the Engineer-in- charge.

Re-painting of Spillway, Under sluice, Left HR & Right HR Gates after cleaning manually by buffing, grinding etc and scraping with wire brush. After cleaning manually by buffing, grinding etc and scraping with wire brush, the surface should be cleaned from loose dust & debris by air blast with help of blower. Over the prepared surfaces, two coats of zinc rich primer (containing not less than 85% zinc ) should be applied to give a dry film thickness of 70 ± 5 microns. First coat of primer should be applied within six hours of surface cleaning. Finishing coat should consist of 02 coats of solventless coal tar epoxy paints.Each coat should give minimum dry film thickness of 150 ± 5 microns. Total dry film thickness of all coats including primer coat should not be less than 350 microns.Painting with spray application should be performed with airless spray equipment. The rate should include hire charges of compressor,painting equiments, labour, other machinery,scaffolding etc. as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Total dry film thickness of all coats including existing coats should not be less than 200. microns. The rate should include hire charges of compressor, painting equiments, labour, other machinery, machines for water jetting, scaffolding etc. as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

First coat of primer should be applied within six hours of surface cleaning, followed by 02 coats of synthetic enamel paint to give dry film thickness of 25 ± 5 microns per coat. Total dry film thickness of all coats including existing coats should not be less than 130 microns. Painting with spray application should be performed with airless spray equipment. The rate should include hire charges of compressor,painting equiments, labour, other machinery,scaffolding etc. as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.
