REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF AIRFIELD LIGHTNING SYSTEM AT AF STN BAREILLY UNDER GE (AF) BAREILLY

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.50 mtr wide and not exc 1.50 mtr in depth for foundation, cable etc or for shafts, wells, cespits, manholes, pier holes etc not exc 10 Sqm on plan and getting out in soft / loose soil all as specified.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick in each layer in soil all as specified.

Removing excavated material (soil) to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point all as specified.

M&L for dry sand cushioning for protection of under ground cables (8cm before laying the cable and 15cm after laying the cable in trenches) complete all as specified.(Note: The punning thickness 18 cm shall be measured for payment)

M&L for well burnt sub class 'B', bricks using old size laid dry, flat, over the cable abutting each other, length of brick equal to width of brick all as specified.

Labour for cleaning the vegetation / surplus soil around the earth pits upto 1 mtr all around the pit, cleaning the chamber of the earth pit, replacing the rusted earthing leads / funnel with mesh etc, checking the result of earthing using earth tester, re-activating the earth pit using suitable measures as required to bring the results within the limits of one Ohm all as specified and directed.

M&L for minor repair and maintenenace of distribution / Isolation transformer capacity of 630 KVA i.e cleaning of transformer, leakage of oil, replace of silica gel, tightning of HT / LT studs, replacement of oil seal / gasket, repalcement of HT / LT cable lugs, earthing proper connected, cleaning of surrounding area of transormer complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of dust from AFLS and water accumulation from inset lights and cast iron box trenches all as specified.

M&L for heat shrinkable straight through joint (epoxy) for HT 5 KV grade, copper conductor including jointing kits, copper ferules etc complete for making joints and testing complete for cable multi stranded 7 core Air field cable.(Make- M Seal / Recham / Denson)

Taking out of existing cable for Runway lighting and relaying after rectification of fault etc all as specified and directed. (Note: Air Force will issue cable free for fixing if required at site).
