Dismantling and taking down U/S copper / aluminium point wiring (light, fan, socket, power) complete fitting such as switches, ceiling roses, pendants, lamp holder etc including CI/Pressed steel terminals, switch box, and making good the disturbed surface of wall/floor etc, to match with the existing surfaces of wall/floor complete all as specified and directed. Note :- If the contractor fail to make good the disturbed surface of wall/floor etc and do not match with the existing surface of wall/floor to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge a recovery @ of Rs. 50/- per RM will be made from payment due to the Contractor. In case of any dispute the decision of accepting officer will be final and binding.

Note :- If the contractor fail to make good the disturbed surface of wall/floor etc and do not match with the existing surface of wall/floor to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge a recovery @ of Rs. 50/- per RM will be made from payment due to the Contractor. Material and labour for point wiring with 1.5 sq mm PVC insulated, unsheathed, stranded copper conductor (FRLS) cable single core 1100 Volt grade in and including rigid PVC conduit medium grade 20mm dia or more ISI Marked PVC casing caping /surface conduit and conduit accessories and cutting chases of suitable girth where required on brick/concrete surface & making good disturbed surface including provision of CI/Pressed steel terminal switch box for housing of normal piano switch/socket ,with plastic laminated sheet 3 mm thick fixed with brass screw and washers for normal piano switch / socket, or provision of PVC gang box where required along with 1.5 sq mm PVC insulated unsheathed stranded copper conductor cable ( FRLS ) as earth wire connected with main common earth dolly complete all as specified and directed for the following :- One light/fan/exhaust fan/bell point controlled by one, one-way Piano type switch 5/6 Amp. Note:- (i) Cost of cutting chases of suitable girth where required on brick /concrete surface and making good disturbed surface shall be deemed to be included in quoted rates ii) If the contractor fail to make good the disturbed surface of wall/floor etc and do not match with the existing surface of wall/floor to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge a recovery @ of Rs. 50/- per RM will be made from payment due to the Contractor. Excavation in trenches for taking out /laying of cable not exceeding 1.5mts deep and n.exceeding 1.5 m in wide in soft/ loose soil for laying of cable and fixing poles, stays etc and getting out complete all as specified and directed.

Returning , filling in including spreading leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick in each layer in any type soil complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sand cushioning withdry and clean fine river sand underground cable 8cm before laying cable and 15cm after laying and punned to 18cm after laying of cable complete all as specified and directed. (Note :- Punned thickness shall be considered for payment purpose)

M&L for cable protection well brunt bricks comman burnt clay sub class 'B'designation 75 for protection of UG cable laid in trenches complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (surplus soil) to a distance not exceeding 50 mtrs and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labor for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6 mm thick weld directly in ground. (earth pit not less then 2.25m depth below ground level at any tyoe of strata) with top edge of the earth plate not less then 1.5m below normal ground level surrounded with adequate quantity of charcoal dust mixed with salt to a packed thickness of 15cm all around the plate connected by 25x4 mm GI strip As earth lead by means of brass nut and bolt thimbles checked nut , washer including concrete chamber of PCC (1:3:6) type C1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate ) with fair finish, internal surface of concrete chamber shall be given internal dia 300mmx300mm 15mm thick plaster in cm (1:4) funnel with wire mesh RCC pit cover of 320x320x80 mm size ( 1:2:4) type d1(using 20mm graded stone aggregate) reinforced with xpm all as shown in electrical plate no. 3 of MES SSR part 1(2009) and specified including and provision of GI strip upto 7.5m long with 20mm dia light weight GI pipe protection and water pipe of 20mm bore medium grade including all excavation and earth work and connecting earth strip to panel including testing on completion complete all as specified and directed by engineer incharge. Note - 1. RCC pit cover shall be precast of RCC (1:2:4) type D-1 80 mm thick reinforced with xpm weighting not less then 4kg /sq m. in lieu of CI cover. 2. Cost of additional GI strip upto 7.5m is deemed to be included in the rate quoted by the bidder.

M&L earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on battan or recess or chases or burried in ground or drawn in /pipe or fixed to pole or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc, as required but 25x4mm galvanised iron strip including down old complete all as specified and directed.
