Comprehensive Maintenance/ Repair and servicing of Mechanical laundry machines installed at OTM complex at Naval Base Kochi ,electrically operated ,to provide trouble free service to the users for 24 hours including Sunday / holidays such as function of all controlling relays, Sensors , Valves etc, complete all as specified and as directed. AMC shall be got done by the contractor through OEM / authorised service agents of OEM only. The Contractor will not be at liberty to change the authorised service agent subsequently without concurrence of the Department. The Contractor shall have MOU for 12 months from OEM / authorised service agents only and shall produce the same to the department before commencement of work. There is no maximum limit for inspection and Testing /Attending breakdowns as per site conditions / as specified by department. Quoted rate includes Inspection and Testing of equipments during breakdown / On call basis for making the system/ Plant functional as per OEM standards, No extra payment will be done for same. Note: - Scope of work Include following:- (a) Conduct the routine checking of all Machines once in month or as when required as per breakdown/Trouble shooting as required at site including necessary T & P. (b) Generate reports about condition of machine and list out the spare parts if required, to be replaced. (c) Replacement of minor spare parts like indicating lamps in panel boards, Small piece of control panel wire , cleaning of panel boards etc as required to make system functional. (d) Contractor has to arrange necessary T & P as per scope of work. (e) Contractor has to arrange necessary T & P for repair work as per scope of work. (f) Contractor has to attend the complaints from Department with in 24 Hrs irrespective of Sunday/ Holiday /nature of complaints. (g) Buffing of Steel surface and general cleaning of all laundry machines complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (h) The unit rate quoted shall be deemed to be included the elements of labour only for rectifying and making the machine functional for minor repair. If replacements of parts / items is required to make the equipment/machine functional the cost of labour and material for the same shall be measured and paid for as " S & F in repairs" under relevant items of this schedule hereinafter. (j) If breakdown shall not be attended & rectified the same day as received by the contractor except rewinding of Motor and other major spares as specified, the recovery will be made @ Rs 500/- per breakdown per day. And after 15 days of nonfunctional of any machine as specified for any reason the recovery will be made @ Rs 2000/- per day till the machine operational.

Material & Labour for disconnecting and dismantling of electric motor of 15 HP capacity , strip opening the unserviceable motor at site to located the fault and transporting to the local work shop, Strip opening the motor and cutting/removing burnt out winding and rewinding the motor with as per existing original wire gauge super enameled copper wire including high quality 'F' class insulating material with heat resistant sleeves, sealing compound and varnishing and heating the stator up to varnish fully dry and testing the motor at work shop to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. Re-fix the motor with machine and installed at site as per existing position, Testing the machine after completion of work all as specified.

Material & Labour for scrubbing, cleaning thoroughly for removing the dirt, sediments, silts, and sludge, untreated effluent etc from the Sewage Collection Tank (UG sump ) bottom & wall of capacity 30,000 Litre by using brushes and by using the water jet with help of machines and other cleaning materials as required including removing the sludge/waste water complete by using external sludge pumps, Sludge De-watering by using external waste water sludge / effluent tankers and deposit the sludge / effluent outside the defence land complete including taking out existing submersible pump from sump while cleaning and install the same after cleaning with necessary tools complete and applying two coats of lime wash inside the wall surface of the tanks including writing the words " DATE OF CLEANING" in capital letters of suitable size on outside visible place of UG sump with synthetic enamel paint (white )over black back ground including cleaning of outside surfaces by using the water jet and wire brush and apply two coats of colour washing (colour should be light yellow) of outside surface of UG sump complete all as specified. Material & Labour for painting of exhaust chimney of Oil fired incinerator 30 metre height including ladder and platform at INHS Sanjivani using silver colour pure silicone based 700 degree Celsius, heat resistant paint for exterior use, corrosion resistant type paint using binder recommended by the manufacturer, two coats as per curing schedule recommended by the manufacturer after scrubbing old paint by using surface cleaner including necessary scaffolding complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Method of Application: - Previously applied paint coating should be removed from the surface by surface cleaner. The surface cleaner should be applied to the surface and left for few minutes till the paint starts lifting from the surface, Then the surface should then be scrapped lightly with the help of emery paper. The surface should be cleaned by the thinner followed by application of one coat of 700 degree Celsius heat resistant paint. The surface should be air dried for one hour. It should be heated up to 250 degrees Celsius and maintained at that temp for one hour followed by the second coat applied and should be heated again up to 250 degree Celsius for one hour. Contractor shall strictly visit the site before quoting the rate. Make: - ALTIC or equivalent
