WATER SUPPLY

Removal of existing damaged filter media from the bottom layer of the filter bed, from a depth of 4.0 meters. The removed sand mixed with mud stacked separately and disposed of at a designated location up to 150 meters away from the filter bed. Usable gravel (filter media) shall be carefully dismantled and stacked seperatedly for reuse. Dismantling and removal of damaged lateral pipes and manifold system, including breaking of surrounding concrete where necessary, using mechanical breakers. The dismantling shall cover both ends of the filter bed along the entire length of the manifold, ensuring complete removal of the existing underdrain system. The work includes all labour, tools, equipment, loading, unloading, and disposal operations, and shall be carried out as directed by the Departmental Authorities.

Cleaning of removed filter media, divide into useful filter media and unuseful filter media, coarse sand and fine sand mixed with wet earth including grading of useful filter media into different required sizes by using sieves and cleaning with liquid chlorine to reuse including all labour charges etc. The processed materials shall be stacked separately based on size and type, in an orderly manner at designated locations within the site. Any damaged, degraded, or non-conforming material identified during processing shall be removed as directed by the Departmental Authorities.

Supply and providing of Filter gravel of the following sizes shall consist of hard, preferably rounded stones with an average specific gravity of 2.5 and free from lime stone or shells, clay, sand, loam and organic impurities of any kind including screening, washing and cost and conveyance of gravel (filter media) as per IS 4419 (Part1)1977 from source to the spot etc., complete as directed by the the Departmental Authorities.

a) 60mm to 40mm size gravel

b) 40mm to 20mm size gravel

c) 20mm to 12mm size gravel

d) 12mm to 5mm size gravel

e) 5mm to 3mm size gravel

Supply and providing of Filter sand shall consist hard durable grains of silica and shall have specific gravity of not less than 2.5 and grains of sand shall preferably be water worn and shall not contain 5% by valume impurities such as clay, loam, silt etc. as per IS 4419 (Part I) 1977 including cost and conveyance of filter sand from souce to spot etc., complete as directed by the Departmental Authorities. 0.3mm to 0.7mm size

Labour charges for laying of new Filter Media and sand in the existing filter beds including laying and levelling with required quantity and including all labour charges etc., complete as directed by the Departmental Authorities.

Supply, Delivery of D.I double flanged Sluice Valves conforming to IS- 14846 (with up to date amendments, if any) including gear arrangements for the following dia. as per test pressure having Body, Bonnet, Dome, Stool cover, Wedge, Stuffing box, Gland, Thrust plate, Cap/Hand wheel with D.I; Stem, Body seat ring, Wedge facing ring, Bushes, Bolts, Nuts, Pinion and Pinion shaft with Stainless steel (IS 6603) ; Wedge nut, Shoe, Channel with Leaded Tin Bronze ( IS 318 ); Gasket with Neoprene Rubber; Gland packing with Rubber; Gear, Gear housing with Cast Steel excluding all taxes and transportation, etc. complete ISI marked. 200mm dia Sluice Valves PN 1.6 (MPa)

Servicing of 15 HP Air Blower and changing of damaged systems bearing, oil seals inccluding cost of new systems bearing, oil seals and labour charges etc., complete as directed by Departmental Authorities.

Repairs to Alum Tank Agitator motors, servicing of Gear Boxes, filling of Gear Oil and fixing of Fan to steering Rod with SS Flat including fabrication, fixing and Gear box servicing etc., complete as directed by the Departmental Authorities

Removal of Existing Alum Tank Water Line Back Wash tank to Alum Tank Outlet Pipe and refixing of 32mm Dia PVC Pipe Line with required L-Bows, Tees, Bends and Ball Valves to run the pipeline with proper alignment and gradient to run the flow of Alum Solution without obstruction as directed by Departmental Authorities.

Removal of Existing Alum Solution Outlet Pipe and refixing of 63mm Dia PVC Pipe line with required L-Bows, Tees, Bends and Ball valves to run the pipeline with proper alignment and gradient to run the flow of Alum Solution without obstruction as directed by Departmental Authorities.

Replacement with new Alum Tank Agitators, erection of Alum Tank Gear Boxes, vertically mounted geared speed reduction gear box with vertically mounted 1 HP motor on existing M.S Fabricated base with necessary altrations and fixing of paddles made of 32mm dia stainless steel shaft and the wings are made of 40mm X 6mm stainless steel flats complete works such as cutting, welding, machining and fixing etc., with all incidental charges as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge of the work.

Supply and Fixing of slippering Unit with 3 rings Slippering rotator (Gun Metal) 4 poles Carbon bushes, links & Copper legs - 2Nos, Hylam, fiber plates etc, Electrical strip connector screw, bolts and aluminium clamps, 32mm dia G.I.Pipe nipple including labour charges for fixing as per site condition as directed by the Departmental Authorities

Fabrication, Supply and Fixing of top and bottom SS seatings for clarifloculator bearing including lathework etc., complete to seat bearing in position as directed by the Departmental Authorities.

Fabrication, Supply and delivery of clarifluculator under sludge removal scraper blades fixing with SS plate and each blade of size 50 x 50 x 6mm L angle, 50 x 6mm flat:rubber paddle size 1.5 x 0.16mts x10mm with MS bolts, nuts, washers pad fixing charges all labour charges and incidental charges etc., complete as directed by the Departmental Authorities.

Supply, fixing and erection of panel Board for existing Flucculator Agitators (2 No's), bridge rotating motor (1No) with new starters fixing in panel board (Powder Coated) with required MCB's, on & Off switches, indicators including cost and conveyance of all materials to site etc., complete as directed by the Departmental Authorities

Painting to clariflucculator bridge with best synthetic enamel Paint in Two Coats over a Primary coat including Scrapping, Cleaning, and brushing etc., cost of painting, labour Charges as directed by Departmental Authorities.

Manufacture, Supply, delivery and fixing of Chlorinator ranging from 0 to 5 Kg/Hr with standard equipments including errection as per site condition at Water Works with required materials with the following accessories. UNIK Series 2023 panel mounting Gravity feed chlorinator ranging from 0 to 5 Kg/Hr with Regulator, Pressure Gauge, Control Valve and Rota Meter controls connected with Anti Corrosive materials fixed in fibre board of UNIK Brand. Fabrication and supply of Angular frame to fix the chlorinator with 4/40mm size angles up to 1.65 mtr Height and 0.45 mtr Width including painting, fixing the frame with cement concrete, earth work and other miscellaneous works as per site condition. Supply and erecting of 300mm dia PVC absorption tower having 2400mm height with base plate fixing on Brick Bed including cost of all materials and Bed work complete, where the Chlorine and water mixed properly to form Chlorine Solution. Supply and fixing of liquid trap (to filter the liquid gas) made with mild steel seamless tube with filter inside. Servicing of Bridge rotating gear box and motors including Changing of Chain Socket and Oil Seals , V-Belts etc,. Complete to kept in running condition as directed by Departmental Authorities.

Supply of PVC insulated 3 Core 4 Sqmm 3 core sheated flexible copper cable for voltage up to 1100V as per IS 694/1990 connecting to main panel board to slippering unit etc., complete as directed by the Departmental Authorities.

Labour chargers for laying of PVC insulated 3 Core 4 Sqmm sheated flexible copper cable in 63mm dia PVC pipe of 6kg/cm2 excluding the cost of PVC pipe, dismantling of concrete in clariflucculatorfor cable laying, filling with CC (1: 1 1/2:3) after completion of cable laying etc., complete as directed by the Departmental Authorities.

Removing of existing Damaged Sluice Valves using gas cutter, welding Machine, cutting machine and fixing of new DI Sluice Valves including cost of Bolts, Nuts, Washers, Leather sheet, flanges for gap closing and fixing charges for labour excluding the cost of new sluice valves etc., complete.

Supply of PVC insulated 2.5 Sqmm 3 Core sheated flexible copper cable for voltage up to 1100V as per IS 694/1990 to slippering unit to bridge panel board and panel board to flocculator motors to bridge motor connecting etc., complete as directed by the Departmental Authorities
