Earth work in hill road (hill side cutting/filling):- Excavation in hilly area for construction of road in all types of soils & rocks as met at site true to lines as per plan, L section camber, super elevation as required also including uprooting & cutting of bushes dressing of road surface to the required level and slopes with all lead, lifts and safe disposal of surplus excavated material at suitable dumping places by mechanical means/ manual means indicated in the drawing with out damaging forest and forest land including slip clearance during hill side cutting, including all type of soil/rock, as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Earth work in excavation of foundation of structures as per the Drawings, Specifications enclosed with the tender dacument Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport & Highways (MoRT&H) Specifications for Road and Bridge Works.

ABUTMENTS AND FILLING BEHIND:

Fitting and fixing in position true to line and level elastomeric bearing conforming to IRC: 83 (Part-II) section IX and clause 2005 of MoRTH specifications (Excluding Cost of Bearing) complete including all accessories as per drawing and Technical Specifications.

Providing and laying of Filter Media with granular materials/stone, crushed aggregates satisfying the requirements laid down in Clause 2504.2.2 of MoRT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works to a thickness of not less than 600mm with smaller size towards the soil and bigger size towards the wall and provided over the entire surface behind abutments, return walls etc. to the full height compacted to a firm condition complete as per the Drawings and Specifications. Item to include all labour, materials, tools, equipment, safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete the work to Specifications.

Providing weep holes in abutment walls, return walls etc. with 100mm dia AC/PVC pipe, extending through the full width of the structure with slope of 1V:20H towards draining face as per the Drawings, Specifications enclosed with the tender document and MoRT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works. Item to include all labour, materials, tools, equipment, safety measures and incidentals necessary to complete the work to Specifications.

Backfilling behind abutments, wing walls and return wall complete as per technical specifications.

SUPER STRUCTURE

Supply and fabrication of steel truss ( Structure ) bridge as per detailed drawing. Supply of all structural steel confirming to I.S. 226 - 1969 required for proper completion of bridge including ground erection of the bridge and including one coat of approved quality anty corrosive red oxide paint confirming I.S. 5660 as per specification and drawong including all T&Petc. nuts & bolts, washers, railing of MS flat and also including supply and fixing of shop rivets refered as per drawing. The rates shall include ground errection in thr workshop and its dismantle after inspection, approval and removing of deffects, match marking of all parts numberings and proper stacking in the premises of workshop before cartage to site of work. The work shall be execuited in accordance with I.S. 1915 - 1961 and its latest revision shall be applicable. The rate shall including cost of all materials, its wastage and cutting, bending if required, welding, making holes, shop rivetting, labour, T&Petc. and also including proper stacking after dismantling of ground erection. All required equipments should be arranged by the contractor as his own cost, which shall be taken back by the contractor after satisfactory execution of the job. Also including supply materials. T&P etc. required for proper copletion of the work as per direction of Engineer - In - Charge.

Erection of Steel Truss Structere Bridge as per drawing with required camber including cartage of fabricated parts from the place of stack near site including submission of launching plan by the contractor, (duly weighted by a recognised reputable institution/consultant ) and approved by the engineer-in-charge. Service bolts to used shall be of GKW make or any other as approved by engineer-in-charge, including cost of all labor, T&P, equipments and consumables required for proper completion of the work as per MoRT&H Specifications for Road and Bridge Works no. 1905 and as per directions of the engineer-in-charge.

Supply and Fixing of 20 mm dia P.F. make 8.8 grade HSFG High strength Friction Grip Bolt ot IS 3757:1985 latest to grade 8.85 with high strength Friction grip nu to IS 6623:2004 letest to grade 105 and high strength Friction 2 Nos. washer including cost of all material, labour, fixing at site all laxes, T&P etc required for proper completion of the work (20 x 100 mm)

20mm thick Open-Graded Premix Carpet using Bituminous (penetration grade/modified bitumen) Binder Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen or emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of either Type A or Type B or Type C as per Technical Specification Clause 508.(Bitumen (VG-10))

Providing and fixing of corrosion resistant 2mm thick Type IV retroreflectivecautionary, mandatory, informatory sign board with 7 yearwarranty as per IRC:67, made of high intensity sheeting fixed over ACP (Aluminium Composite Panel) 3 mm thick (including framing and bracing with fabrication, plotting, pasting, riveting, taping and nut, bolts, washers and rivets etc for fixing), supported on a mild steel angle iron post 75 mm x 75 mm x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M15 grade cement concrete 45 cm x 45 cm x 60 cm, 60 cm below ground level as per approved drawing, issued in original by retro-reflective sheeting manufacturer having operations in India by their indian subsidary. (Clause No. 801 of MORTH)

Providing and Fixing 'Logo' of PMGSY Project Providing and fixing of typical PMGSY informatory sign board with Logo as per MORD specifications and drawing. Three MS Plates of 1.6 mm thick, top and middle plate duly welded with MS flat iron 25mm x 5m size on back on edges. The lower plate will be welded with MS angle iron frame of 25mm x 25mm x 5mm. The angle iron frame of the lower most plate and flat iron frame of middle plate will be welded to 2 nos. 75mm x 75 mm of 12 SWG sheet tubes posts duly embedded in cement concrete M-15 grade blocks of 450mm x 450mm x 600mm, 600mm below ground level. The top most diamond plate will be welded to middle plate by 47mm x 47mm of 12 SWG steel plate tube. All M.S. will be stove enameled on both sides. Lettering and printing arrows, border etc. will be painted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shade and colour. All sections of framed posts and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per drawing Clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1
