CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR DESIGN, EVALUATION, ANALYSIS AND PREPARATION OF DETAILED STRUCTURAL DRAWINGS OF RCC OVERHEAD TANK AT ARMY AREA COIMBATORE UNDER GE WELLINGTON

Preparation and Submission of the following for “Provision of RCC over head tank of 30,000 Gallons capacity with 20m staging ” on reproducible film duly signed and one soft copy of the same all as directed:- (a) Detailed Structural design, analysis and evaluation folder/report showing all calculations, design philosophy, assumptions including reference etc complete. (b) Architectural drawings plan, elevation and cross section including all necessary dome, vents, access/manhole, ladders, pipeline arrangements for incoming, outgoing, overflow, drainpipes and water level indicator etc complete. (c) Detailed structural drawings of the footing & foundation i.e. plan, elevation, section with dimensions in mm for columns including details of sub base for foundation & reinforcement details (Scale 1: 50). (d) Detailed structural drawing of super structure (plan, section & reinforcement detailing) ie., plinth beams, columns, bracing beams, Floor beams, roof beams, walls, floor/roof and slab complete (Scale 1 : 50 ) (e) Typical reinforcement details of all structural members mentioned in para (ii) to (iv) & other reinforcement details as per IS 456-2000, IS 13920 - 2016 & SP- 34 including structural notes relevant to IS/SP.

(i) The design of the RCC OHT, shall be based on IS-456:2000, IS-1893, IS-13920, IS-4326 and all other relevant codes (latest versions of the codes will be followed). Cover to reinforcement in RCC shall be as per IS: 456- 2000 for exposure conditions applicable to Coimbatore, Tamilnadu and relevant IS Code provisions for specialized structures. (ii) Grade of Concrete: not less than M-25 for buildings & not less than M-30 for water retaining structure and Grade of Steel: Fe-500 D TMT Bars conf to IS-1750. (iii) Fire rating to be considered as per latest IS code/NBC norms. (iv) Different loads shall be as per codal provisions for the type of Structure. (v) All structural analysis and design shall be designed as per IS-1893-2002, IS: 875 etc. for earthquake load, wind loads as applicable for Coimbator, Tamilnadu. (vi) SBC will be provided by E2 Section of CWE Wellington.

Note:- (i) These brief design inputs are only for guiding purpose of consultants. However, relevant IS code and date pertains to Coimbatore area will be followed in case of any ambiguty. (Ii) Above Design & Drawings shall be got vetted from IITs/NITs or any reputed govt engineering college. (iiI) Two set of hard copy and one set of soft copy of the final Detailed Structural design, analysis and evaluation folder/report showing all calculations, design philosophy, assumptions including reference etc and one set of final Architectural & structural drawings of Gateway Tracing Paper (95/100 gm/Sqm), one set in soft copy, and five sets in hard copies shall be submitted by the consultant. iv) Unit rates are quoted shall be deemed to be included any changes/revisions in the drgs till the physical completion of Main Job. Revised/Amended drgs shall be submitted by consultant to the client without any extra cost. (v) Rate Quoted shall Deemed to be include all levies sales tax, GST, Octroy and other taxes.
