REPAIR AND MAINT OF GI SHEET AND VALLEY GUTTER OF SUNSHELTER AT TECH AREA AT AF STN JAMNAGAR NO. 1

Dismantling plain or corrugated steel sheeting, any gauge, thickness, including Nainital or similar pattern roof coverings, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing pre- painted galvatume aluminum zinc coating GI based corrugated steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof covering/cladding to wall, fixed with self tapping screws, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for pre-painted galvalume aluminum Zinc coating GI based plain steel sheet 0.50mm thick of any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in roof ridges etc fixed with self drilling screws, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Dismantling wrought iron or mild steel work of any description not otherwise provided for, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing roof trusses (framed), trussed, purlins, crane gantries, rails and fastenings and heavy bracket framing (Beam, tee, angle, channel or flat sections) (Fe-410-W(Gde-E-250) quality-B) including distance pieces, cleats etc., complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing steel work in tubular trusses including special shaped washer etc. complete using ERW or induction butt welded tubes conforming to I. S.1161-1979 grade St.-240, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for preparation of new or previously untreated steel surfaces of any description, over 10cm in width or girth, not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint (ordinary tint) over a coat of red oxide, zinc chrome primer, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Material and labour for preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description, over 10cm in width or girth,not otherwise described and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint (ordinary tint), complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down old Nylon Net of Bird proofing for shed/storage accn/Hangers including fittings, complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note:- This item shall be executed for the building up to 10 metre height from ground level and quoted rates shall be deemed to include for all necessary arrangement for execution of this item upto 10 meter height.

Supply and fixing Nylon Net for Bird proofing for shed/storage accn / Hangers including fixing material such as wooden fillets / boardings, clamps, nut & bolt, washers, wire/nylon rope, etc to make the site bird proof complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge, The bird prrofing net should have minimum following specifications:- (i) Burst strength up to 44 pound. (ii) Shall meet ISO 1806 Protocols. (iii) Size of mesh 20 mm x 20 mm. (iv) Thickness 1.80 mm ( 6 strand each .30 mm). (v) Quality control:- Filament are Wisted and knotted pressure, stretched and tightened. (vi) Chemical Properties:- Polyethylene ( a paraffin hydrocarbon, chemically inert, flame retardant and highly resistant to most chemical at temperature. High resistance to acids and alkaloids at all concentration. (vii) High temperature 210 to 239 degree F (100 to 115 Degree centigrade. (viii) Low temperature resistance 139 to 166 Degree F (-95 to -11 degree Centigrade) Note:- (i) Sample of make shall be approved by GE in writing after checking above parameters from manufacturers test certificate. (ii) Contractor shall submit five years life guarantee for bird proof net on bond paper. Contractor shall also submit security deposit (in addition to performance security) amount i.e 5 % of executed in the form of FDR or same shall be retain from FB. (iii) This item shall be executed for the building up to 10 metre height from ground level and quoted rates shall be deemed to include for all necessary arrangement for execution of this item upto 10 meter height.
