Flat brick soling Providing and laying flat brick soling layer on prepared subgrade according to lines, grades and cross-section shown on the drawing, filling joints with Earth, free from clay with a Plasticity Index not exceeding 6, watering and rolling the same with three wheeled road roller 80-100 kN as per MoRD Technical Specification Clause 412.

Brick on edge soling. Providing and laying brick on edge soling layer on prepared subgrade according to lines, grades and cross-section shown on the drawing, filling joints with sand, watering and rolling the same with three wheeled road roller 80-100 kN as per MoRD Technical Specification Clause 412.

Brick edging laid lengthwise Providing and laying brick edging laid lengthwise on prepared subgrade according to lines, grades and cross-section shown on the drawing, filling joints with Earth, free from clay with a Plasticity Index not exceeding 6, watering and rolling the same with three wheeled road roller 80-100 kN as per MoRD Technical Specification Clause 412.

Construction of Embankment with Material Obtained from Borrow Pits. Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with a lift upto 1.5 m, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 with a lead upto 1000 m as per MoRD Technical Specification Clause 301.5.

Providing and placing polythene (of minimum wall thickness of 500 micron ) bags filled with earth (Minimum quantity of 0.0204 cum i.e, 60% of gunny/polythene bag) and properly maunally stitched to avoid any leakage of earth as per direction of the Engineer.

Hiring charge of JCB (hydraulic excavator of 0.90 cum bucket capacity) for clearing and grubbing road side marshy soil and pushing the soil from the site with all lifts and disposed within 100 m as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying of 1st classed brick, bats and laying the same in road depressions and stretches in/c. spreading one layer of tilla soil to make it good for proper grade and camber as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge.

Construction of toe walls for protection of slopes as per Drawing and MoRD technical specifications Clause 1302.5 (including centering, shuttering staging etc. but excluding reinforcement) I. Cement concrete grade M 10 (using jhama brick aggregate) in case of concrete block pitching (i) Nominal mix 1:3:6

Supplying bamboo (1st class) 85 mm to 100 mm dia and making shoe with end tappered upto 300 mm from the bottom of the bamboo as per drawing and specification.

Handling and driving bamboo (1st class) 85 mm to 100 mm dia upto the length required by heavy hammer as per drawing and specification.
