Scrapping of existing road surface by wire brush and compressed air to remove caked mud, loose soil, dirt, silt, clay etc., cleaning and removing all the loose material from road surface with brooming and gunny bags with all lead and lift including all labour, tools, tackles, equipment etc. complete in all respects as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge / Site Engineer
Filling the pot holes with premix carpet with equal quantities of kapachis and grit coated with asphalt VG-10 @ 60 kg/cum. Tack coat @ 1kg/sqm laying to proper slope to match the original surface including painting with 2 kg/sqm, sand finishing, sweeping free from mud and dust, cutting around edges to 25 cm in depth as per site condition etc. in all respect and as per specification.
(Premix Carpet)Providing and laying premix bituminous macadam carpet of 50 mm compacted thickness using stone aggregateof quality, size and grading as specified and bitumen of grade VG 30 @ 3.5% by weight of total mix including hot mixing of aggregate and bitumen in hot mix plant, transporting the mixed material to site and laying the same (over prepared base surface with a tack coat of hot straight run bitumen of grade VG10 @ 0.75 kg/ sqm) with paver finisher to the required level and grade, consolidation with road roller of 8 to 10 ton capacity complete in respects as per specification and direction of Site Engineer. (Rate inclusive of tack coat)
Seal Coat: Providing and laying seal coat over prepared surface of road with bitumen heated in bitumen boiler fitted with the spray set spraying using 98 kg of bitumen of grade VG - 10 and blinding surface with 0.90 cum of stone aggregate of 6.7 mm size (Passing 11.2 mm sieve and retained on 2.36 mm sieve) per 100 sqm of road surface, including rolling and finishing with power road roller all complete. Note: Seal coat items to be operated only with the prior approval of Engineer-in-charge.
Spraying a thin layer of sand over the finished road at a thickness not exceeding 3 to 4 mm so as to ensure the desired leval of traction for smooth vehicle transport, including cost of all labour, tools, tackles, equipments such as rollers etc.
